From the soaring ceiling to the wood burning fireplace, hot tub on the back porch and the soothing sound of the Lehigh River rapids you will feel like you've stepped into another world and left all your cares at home. River Lodge is secluded and private yet close to all of the world class entertainment the pocono mountains have to offer. If you're looking for a peaceful location this is the one you're looking for. Located near the end of a dirt road yet within 30 minutes of every Pocono attraction. (Skiing, hiking, biking, fishing, golfing, white water rafing, state parks and more. The Lehigh gorge trail runs right along the back of the property giving you easy access for hiking, biking and fishing! Indulge in the early morning sun on the back porch and be serenaded by the birds and the river. ■OUTDOOR SPACES With multiple decks the outdoor entertainment is amazing. On the main level deck you can enjoy an outdoor meal at one of the 2 patio tables then head to the other end of the deck to relax on the patio set and enjoy your favorite game or show on the outdoor TV. On the lower level deck adjacent to the game room you will find the hot tub with a table and chairs nearby to enjoy your favorite game or a late night snack. I grew up and live in Lancaster county Pennsylvania. I work as a general contractor and love spending time in the great outdoors in my spare time. Some of my favorite hobbies are horseback riding, hiking and spending time with my wonderful friends. Since I was 15 there was 2 things I dreamt of. One was restoring a house and the other was being a vacation rental host. Both came true in 2021 when I purchased a property a few door down from where I live with my parents. It needed to be completely updated on the interior and so I started with lots of energy. 8 months later after new plumbing, electrical, drywall, timber frame ceilings, new floors, new bathrooms, new doors, a new kitchen and fresh paint I was ready to welcome my first guests. I did all of this work while working full time from 6AM to 5PM. God has richly blessed me and in 2025 me and a few of my siblings were able to purchase River Lodge for our own enjoyment and also to share with others. It is my desire that as you enter my homes you can enter into an atmosphere of peace and rest! I love hosting and providing guests with a beautiful place to stay at while on vacation.

I chose this property purely because of the setting. I love getting up in the morning and sit on the back deck and listen to the river, watch the sunrise thru the trees and just reflect over life in a quiet, peaceful location. I also love how close it is to the rail trail and the river.
