FRIPP ISLAND FRENTE AL MAR (707 Flying Fish)

Si aprecia la hermosa decoración y las sábanas de alto número de hilos, esta es su propiedad. Las 3 cubiertas exteriores son tan hermosas como el interior. Hay impresionantes vistas al mar desde todas las salas de estar y 2 de las cubiertas. En la planta baja, encontrará una habitación (2 camas individuales) con vista al mar, baño privado con ducha y puertas francesas que se abren a la cubierta de 20 x 30 pies que tiene capacidad para 12, un área de comedor y un gran exterior ducha. Las principales salas de estar y otras 4 habitaciones están arriba. Arriba, habitaciones: (1) Master (cama King) con su propia terraza privada y baño privado (con ducha de vapor). (2) Un dormitorio pequeño (2 camas individuales). Esta habitación tiene ganchos colgantes pero no tiene armario. Esta habitación está cerca del Maestro, y es perfecta para niños pequeños. (3) Dormitorio (cama King) que se abre a un baño con jacuzzi (este baño también se abre al pasillo, cerca de la pequeña habitación doble). (4) El cuarto dormitorio de arriba (King Bed) tiene un baño privado con ducha y algunas vistas al océano.
La casa tiene capacidad para 11 personas (camas para 10 + a Pack y Play para bebé). Trona y paquete y juego disponibles bajo petición.
La sala de desayuno tiene 3 paredes de vidrio con una vista desde un extremo de la isla hasta el otro, un lugar perfecto para tomar una taza de café temprano y ver el amanecer. Para cenar, la mesa de desayuno tiene capacidad para 6, la mesa de comedor con capacidad para 8-10 y la mesa de picnic en la cubierta superior para 10. También hay una mesa con capacidad para 8 en la cubierta inferior. Hay 2 áreas de asientos: una habitación familiar de 23 x 18 con TV de pantalla plana (con capacidad para 9 personas) y una habitación con una zona de estar más pequeña con chimenea. La sala de desayuno tiene una cama de día y TV. La casa cuenta con WiFi, reproductores de DVD, 6 televisores, un estéreo, reproductores de CD, compactador de basura y parrilla de carbón. Hay 10 sillas de playa para su uso. ¡Sin embargo, es posible que nunca quieras salir de la casa o de la cubierta superior! Es genial poder ver a tu familia jugar en la playa mientras te relajas en la terraza o preparas una comida.

Great Family Vacation

It was a wonderful week with our family. Our only complaint was that the children's pool at 2 locations were closed for maintenance (we had 3 little ones) so we only ended up using the amenities once. The beach is expansive with plenty of room to play and the accomodations were wonderful.

very well kept property with an excellent location on Fripp with beach front view/access. We had two families of 5 stay at the house and it was plenty of space. The host is excellent as well. Highly recommend this property.

Our small family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fabulous beach house! It was just what we all needed and the hosts couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. It had everything we needed. We had a great family vacation.

This was our third visit to Sea Oats. On this occasion we had the entire family and enjoyed a memorable beach vacation. The home itself is outstanding and is located in the middle of the island. The view's are wonderful and we as a family took advantage of the amenities, including enjoying each of the golf courses. The owner is wonderful to work with and we have already scheduled a week for next year.

Gorgeous home that is well laid out. We cooked together, ate, and played games while enjoying the wonderful ocean views. The boardwalk to the beach is steps away and corn hole on the lower porch was perfect. Thank you!

The Most Fabulous House

Everything was absolutely first class—Furniture, decor, bedding, kitchen appliances/dishes, tvs, fireplace etc. Nothing was missed in this home and it’s on the best Fripp beach front area. The host is very nice, organized and responsive. What a perfect family trip we had!!

Spectacular!

This home exceeded my expectations, which were high already. So many thoughtful touches throughout the house. It is bigger than I expected and had lots of areas where you could have your own space. The homeowner was very thorough and timely with her communications. Overall the best VRBO that we have ever had

Fantastic Family Vacation

Sea Oats is absolutely fantastic. The location right beside the public walkway was great especially if you are taking a lot of stuff to the beach with you as we did with two small children. Rosanne was super. She had instructions with everything in the house and offered suggestions for eating, sightseeing and even golf cart rides. Her house is beautiful with the best view. We would definitely like to stay again

Great location

Pros: House is on an excellent part of the beach with some sand all day, but not a huge hike to the water. Very clean, well-maintained property. Beautiful outside seating area downstairs. Homeowners were great. There was an issue with one of the A/C units and they literally had someone out in less than two hours to fix it. We were extremely grateful for that! There are two extra mini-fridges in the kitchen that are great for cooling drinks & bottled water without taking up food space in the main fridge. Con: One of the bedrooms is so tiny that there is not even room for two people to walk past each other. No dresser, no closet, not even room to sit a suitcase on the floor. It is an okay space for one person to sleep, but it’s not really a “bedroom.” There were multiple cabinets with tons of cups & kitchen gadgets, but no pantry space to store a week’s worth of food for an entire family.

Location, Location…and a Spectacular House

I recently organized a beach trip for some of our Colorado friends and the choice of the house at 707 Flying Fish made me look like a Rock Star. The VRBO descriptions, amenities and images are all that and more. The house is absolutely spectacular and overwhelmingly beach comfy with several living spaces both inside and out that can accommodate everyone’s needs (rain or shine). The house is at one of the best locations on Fripp Island—directly beach front, adjacent to a boardwalk for beach access, and within walking distance to the Beach Club. Even on the weekends, the boardwalk and beach were never excessively crowded. We cooked most nights and the kitchen was well appointed and could easily accommodate three people working at once. Take your pick from four different eating areas: The sunroom or dining room (inside) or the picnic table on the deck or the dining table on the downstairs lanai. I have to admit we spent quite a bit of time on the lanai downstairs that’s furnished with outdoor furniture, TV and small refrigerator. All the bedrooms were very comfortable with plenty of bathroom space for our group. Rosanne, the owner, was so welcoming and accommodating. She truly wanted to make sure our stay was an outstanding experience. I’ve rented a lot of houses on the beach in South Carolina and this was hands-down the best beach experience, not only for me but also for all my Colorado guests. Everyone is already talking about coming back next year!

Wonderful property

The house was beautiful and just like shown in the pictures. Great location with beautiful ocean views and easy beach access. The kitchen had everything we needed. Loved having the shade in the lower level patio. The outdoor shower was a big hit with the kids. Would absolutely stay at this house again!

Family stay at the Sea Oats

We had a wonderful time at the Sea Oats on Fripp Island. We love how the house is decorated - perfectly matched and tasteful. The combination of the bright light, the unobstructed view of the ocean, and the beach themed interior, gave us an immediate vacation feeling that stayed with us during our time on Fripp. The home is well cared for inside and out and has everything you need for your stay. From the moment we first booked, the property manager has been very helpful, providing us with information, and kindly answering our questions.

In 1999 we drove onto Fripp Island for the 1st time. That same day, without ever spending a night on Fripp Island, we put in an offer on our 1st home there. Best decision we ever made. In 2010, we bought 'Sea Oats'. Our daughters and sons in law and 5 grandchildren adore Fripp Island. It has given us years of many happy memories. And many families return to our home every year for their family’s vacation. We know 'Sea Oats' can be the same wonderful experience for you.

It’s all about The View!! Many people have told us that we have the best ocean view on Fripp Island. Since we are center island, it is wonderful to have a nice beach 24/7. Because of the home’s configuration, our upper deck is protected from chilling winds. On a 60 degree sunny day, our deck usually registers 70 degrees. So even in off season, it is a great place to enjoy the sun and ocean view. The upper deck has 6 chaise lounges and a picnic table for 8. The covered lower deck with ocean view provides a wonderful outdoor experience even on rainy days. We love looking up at the stars at night and the dolphins in the morning. Every year, sea turtles lay their eggs near our house. Wake up early and you might see a Mother Turtle going back to sea. Later in the summer, it is so fun to watch when the baby turtles hatch! The Master Deck is also the perfect private place to get some sun.

We loved the ocean view, Fripp Island’s soft, silky sand, and the style of the home. We like the fact that it is open yet it has several different seating and deck areas. So it is a great house for gathering together but also for finding moments of privacy. If interested in using Fripp Island Resort amenities, inquire with Owner about costs for Resort Fee and Guest Cards.

With additional payment of a Resort Fee (12.8 % or less of the base rate) and purchase of Guest Cards, you may access Fripp Island Resort amenities (you will order and make payment directly through the owner). Resort Amenities include restaurants, golf, tennis, pickleball, numerous pools, access to rent golf carts, kayaks, etc. through Fripp Island Excursions, Camp Fripp, etc.
Fripp Island can be a delightful vacation even without the Resort. Golf carts, bikes and kayaks can be rented nearby at Barefoot Bubba's (contact them at 843-541-3400 and barefoot-bubbas.com). Electric Golf carts can be rented through Suttcliffe Golf Carts (843-524-6502). There are several good restaurants within 10 miles of Fripp. And individuals offer fishing expeditions and lovely sunset cruises where you can see the dolphins. Instacart delivers from the Publix on Ladys Island to the house. A local company will set up tents on the beach for a fee. Sea Oat's center island location is perfect.
Fripp Island is a family island, and everyone rides around on golf carts. With a 15 - 20 mph speed limit, the pace is easy and safe. There are so many wonderful activities and learning experiences for children at nearby Hunting Island. Fripp Island is a nature preserve - a bird watcher's and photographer’s paradise. Tour Penn Center and study the Gullah culture. Horseback Riding Facility 10 minutes from Fripp. Art Galleries, great restaurants and shops in charming Beaufort by the Bay. Buy your fresh fish and garden vegetables along Highway 21.
