South Ambergris Caye is one of the safest neighborhood on the island of since it is the home of the South Ambergris Caye Neighborhood watch. It is quiet and peaceful and just a short 10 minute golf cart ride away from town. The south is home to very diverse restaurants such as, Toast, Someplace South Cafe-bar, Black Orchid Restaurant, The Hula Bar, Happy’s Tequileria and Playa De Salas. It even has Marin's Mini Store to purchase those essentials you need in your unit.
