The condo itself, five stars. Clean and well-appointed and the location can't be beat, walking to pier, etc. The downsides: The host became non-responsive during the stay. We had some parking questions that didn't get answered and it gave us some anxiety as there were signs threatening to tow. But it was Thanksgiving week so who knows, it wasn't a huge deal. What WAS a huge deal, for us at least, were the rules of the condo. The grassy lawn seen in the photos was one of the reasons we rented, so the kids could throw a frisbee while our motion-impaired grandparents sat on the patio. Well, we were told on arrival there is "no playing" in that grass. Literally you can't walk out there and throw a ball without the apartment manager quietly reminding you that lawns are a "common area" and no.. anything... allowed. I get not wanting a drunken party on the lawn-- but kids throwing a ball? Come on. Second was the pool. It closes "30 minutes before sunset." Which is about the time you'll come up from a hot day at the beach and want to spend time relaxing by the pool, when the sky is starting to turn pink-- But nope. It's cleared out and locked, for legal reasons, because there aren't "lights." Which, you know, buy lights? But also-- no drinking or food at pool. So if you were hoping to eat a hotdog at one of the four tables around the pool, or have a glass of wine. Also not allowed. So make of those rules what you will, but it didn't fit into our concept of a vacation.
