Suzan’s property is beautiful and reflective of the care she puts in to make sure that her guests are comfortable and have a positive experience. Truly a comfy little home away from home! I especially appreciated the cleanliness and the full kitchen. And as a solo traveler, the attention to guest safety while staying on the property put me completely at ease. Suzan is very communicative and is a wonderful host. I will definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

This cottage was comfortable and cozy for my husband and I. It had everything we needed to relax after days spent visiting family nearby and LA sites. The beach was close enough to walk to as was grocery and other stores and restaurants. Suzan was there to greet us and showed us around the place in case we had any questions. We found this cottage to be quiet and private in a safe residential area. Perfect for us!

The cottage was quaint and relaxing and the host Suzan was very friendly and accomodating of my little chug Wilbur. The gated patio area outside the cottage is perfect if you have little ones, furbaby or otherwise, as it adds a degree of security and privacy. Also loved the option to open the windows in the evening and enjoy the cool breeze of the nearby ocean. If you travel with children, Marine Park just a few blocks away is a great option!

Excellent stay!!

My boyfriend and I really loved our three night stay in Suzan's beautiful vrbo! Suzan was was an excellent and kind host, and we really enjoyed meeting her and her adorable dog Sunny. The apartment was exactly as shown in the pictures with all the listed amenities. The indoor space was clean, fresh, bright and inviting, with very tasteful furnishings. The bed was very comfortable. The workspace/desk was a great spot to catch up on some emails and work. The outdoor patio space was beautiful. The laundry machines were super convenient. Parking on the street was very easy. Suzan's home was a terrific home base for our hiking adventures in Runyon Canyon as well as our trips to local beaches and the Getty Villa. It was also conveniently close to some great restaurants in Santa Monica which we got to via uber/lyft. After this terrific experience we are actively looking for excuses to come back to LA just so that we can stay here again!

Venice fall break

Suzan is awesome. She is a wonderful host. This Vrbo was by far the cleanest we have ever stayed which fully appreciate. The place is very up to date and so cute. The bathroom has a heater so you are not cold when you get out. It is a nice big bathroom and shower. Sounds silly but that was awesome for me 😁 The location was very close to everything. I think it’s probably close enough to the beach to bike if you are driving and thinking about bringing your bikes. You will save a mint on parking on the beach or Santa Monica. If you do park at the beach we figured out our last day that towards the south end by the canals is a lot cheaper. The patio is so cute and very well kept up. Huge lime tree on the property if you like to put lime in your water. We never had an issue with parking. You can park right out front. I know that can be an issue in California sometimes. On our second day the washer and dryer room was locked so I contacted Suzan and it literally took her about a minute to unlock for us! My only mistake and I am sure I missed it is I thought it was a one bedroom. It is more like a studio but there is a huge closet to store everything. We never felt cramped at all. It is very bright and open. Suzan also left a book of things to do around the area that was helpful! There is a grocery store right down the street as well. I never leave a review this long. Suzan’s place and her were awesome and we will be back.

Perfect little cottage

I stayed for two nights in Suzan's adorable cottage in Venice. It's clean and welcoming, and it has everything you might want or need. Parking is easy, and the neighborhood is quiet and perfect for walking if that is your thing. Grocery stores, including Erewhon, are a very short drive, as is Abbott Kinney, for some fun shopping and the beach. The airport is also pretty close; it is only a 20-minute drive. I will be back and highly recommend it.

Nice and beautiful

The property was nice with a good zen feel, but overwhelmed by too many security cameras. It felt very invasive and uncomfortable at times. Overall it was a nice stay.

Peaceful, clean cottage with everything you need

This peaceful little cottage was just perfect. The kitchen is fully equipped to make any sort of meal you would like. The bathroom is gorgeous and pristine with plenty of space for all your toiletries. I loved having a closet where I could unpack and settle in. The hostess, Suzan, is very nice and accommodating. I look forward to spending many more trips here.

Great little luxurious cottage

The cottage is in a nice neighborhood and was so nicely decorated with a lovely kitchen, elevated ceilings, some sky lights and adjacent garden. We were very comfortable and the host has thought of everything to make you feel at home. Would stay again.

Perfect LA cottage

Lovely cottage with all the amenities. Plenty of light and breeze. Comfortable outside space. Easy walk to Venice Beach. Nice neighborhood. Easy walk to restaurants, grocery, etc. Host was gracious and helpful. Although the cottage is on her property, we had plenty of privacy .She was easily available if we needed her. I hope we get to come back.

Great stay

Susan was a great host, and a really nice person. She went put of her way to make sure I had everything I needed while staying at the property, and even went out of her way by meeting me prior to Checkin to help store my luggage. The property was warm and inviting, and even had lime trees right outside the door. The pictures are exactly how the cottage looks in person, and was walkable to Venice beach/ abbot Kinney area in under 30 min. I would most definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cottage with a friendly host!

Suzan was a fantastic host and prepared a lovely cottage for us to stay at. The location was fairly close to a lot of places by car and everything in the listing was accurate.

Diego was an amazing host. He was easy to get in touch with and he had a fast response rate. The property is beautiful!! I cannot recommend this place enough. Everything was perfect, clean and such a great location. Parking was a bit tricky but we were always able to park on Highland drive. I would give this place 6 stars if I could! :)

Such A Pleasant Stay!

My daughter and I loved the property! Suzan, the property owner is a sweetheart! Our visit back home to California was awesome and it felt so comfortable to relax/rest here. I will definitely be visiting again soon!

A wonderful place to stay with an excellent host

A friend and I booked Suzan's beautiful cottage for a few short nights. The space was perfect for us -- we found everything we needed, it was comfortable, had great natural light, thoughtful guidebooks and recommendations, and a comfortable bed. Suzan was super communicative, responsive, and kind, and was quick to respond to any and all needs. Would highly recommend this booking for anyone looking to explore L.A., we hope to come back!

I’ve been in Venice Beach for 20 years now. My husband passed away and that is what started me on my hosting journey. I enjoy having people around, and I feel like my guests have brought me and my property back to life.

When we were shopping for a home, it was either Venice or Silver Lake. I’m glad we landed up in Venice as it’s so much cooler and I love that. We live in a quiet area with easy parking, but close to the 😎 of Venice and Santa Monica.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

I’ve been told that the quiet space that surrounds the cottage feels a little bit like an oasis away from the busy parts of LA. The backyard is green and the fountain brings birds from hummingbirds to crows. If you’re lucky, you might be able to taste a passion fruit. They seem to bloom in fall.
