We had a great time on our vacation, but our room was very outdated in the bed was very hard. My kids slept on the fold out couch and their bed was softer than the master bed. We actually left a day early because of the beds were hurting our back so bad. There was a plug in the kitchen that didn’t have a cover on it, which is dangerous. The staff was easy to deal with but we couldn’t get anything handled because we rented through Vrbo. the beach and pool area was nice.

This place was great for the 2 of us. Not sure I’d want to take anyone with us, as there is no privacy for the bedroom. Great location, close to restaurants and a beautiful view of the beach. Might want to watch what you say on the balcony, though. Would definitely stay again.

Very courteous staff. I do wish the bedroom had curtains to keep out the light and a small table on the balcony. Very close to the beach. I would definitely stay there again.

Overall, our stay was excellent! I do agree with others about adding a curtain to the window in bedroom. Other than that, the location is perfect and the room is perfect for 2 people! We would definitely stay there again.

Gulf Shores first time

Came to Jay Florida to visit a Grandchild and came to spend a few days at Gulf Shores. Island Winds was a wonderful place to spend our time.

Wonderful experience

The condo has a beautiful view of the beach. The grills were clean and perfect. It is home away from home. We will definitely stay here again!!

Perfect view

This was better than I had expected. Though it was an older property, it was well-maintained, well-equipped (had everything we needed), and the PERFECT beach location. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location!

The condo was a little small for 4 people (my husband and I and 2 kids. But we were able to look past that with the perfect location and breathtaking views! The kitchen was fully stocked for us to do breakfast and lunch and the condo was with in walking distance to some amazing places for dinner! Not to mention less than 2 mins to the pool and beach! Will definitely book again!

A very relaxing time.

The toilet was too short, there needs to be some shade at in pool area and the balcony needs a privacy wall between the units. Location is great🤗

Amazing view

Last minute quick trip to the beach. Check in easy and early. Third floor, view was amazing. Condo was perfect for the 2 of us. Very convenient to everything. Will definitely stay again.

Perfect place

This place is exactly as described. You are right on the beach with the pool below. I believe the pool is heated (it felt great the one time we got in to it). The kitchen is stocked. The bed is comfortable. All in all, we’d definitely stay here again. And hopefully, should we go to Gulf Shores again, the weather will be as perfect as this place

It truly was a wonderful trip for us both

Bedroom window too bright at night. Blackout curtains would be grreat. Other than that it was perfect place. Super friendly staff & very clean too. Really enjoyed the trip & will be back again.

The condo was in a nice location. It could use some dark shades in the bedroom for us late sleepers. Overall a satisfying experience. Somewhat pricey though.

Family Vacation

We had a blast. Our family consisted of 2 children between the ages of 12-14. It was very well located to get to the other fun stuff that was really close. We loved being right on the beach. There was two pools but the one that we would use was only open the first night we were there then it was closed the next 3 nights. Other than that we had an awesome time and will most definitely like to stay again.

Beautiful View.

The total property was extremely clean. All the folks that worked there were very friendly and helpful. The location is close to a ton of restaurants and shopping. Our view of the ocean would be hard to match, it was awesome. Access to the pool and the ocean was extremely easy as well. The only issue we had was the bed was very firm, so somewhat uncomfortable. The cooking pans could be upgraded. Again we had a great time and look to return soon.

Bedroom inside the front door.

The bedroom is immediately to your left as you walk in & has no door. The bedroom window had no darkening shades/curtains and faced out to the walkway that stayed brightly lit all night. Also no counter space in the outdated small bathroom. Just a pedestal sink. The entire unit is much smaller than the pictures seem to show. The balcony could really use a small table to be able to set food/drink on. On a positive note, the staff was nice and they seemed to work hard to keep the property clean. Good location & easy walk to beach.
