The architecture and interior design of the home combines the rustic elegance of a Colonial-era hacienda with the tropical ambience of a palatial South Pacific estate. Classic style has influenced every aspect of the decor which features marble finishes, lavish fixtures, leather furnishings, and solid wood flooring throughout the home.

Under an arched ceiling dotted with skylights, Captiva's bright and spacious living and dining rooms have an open-concept design. Plush sofas, oversized leather armchairs, and a fireplace at the heart of the room invite guests to gather and socialize.

Functionality meets country charm in the gourmet kitchen, creating a fun, friendly space to entertain with ease. At the center of the kitchen there is a massive marble-topped island surrounded by colorful bar stools and plenty of open space for guests to move and mingle. Professional-quality stainless steel appliances include a gas range and hood and a large triple-door Sub Zero refrigerator. Copper cookware, vibrant paintings and local pottery placed on and around the wood cabinetry balance the space and add character. Nearby, a cozy dining nook is the perfect spot to enjoy a casual bite while looking out at the spectacular views of the azure Cortez Sea.

Reminiscent of the elegant salons of the Roaring Twenties, Captiva's den and games room features an exquisitely-crafted mahogany bar with leather stools and a mirror backsplash. Enjoy a game of billiards or a poker match at one of several card tables nearby, or catch the game on the large flat screen in the media room complete with Satellite TV, DVD player and surround sound.

Captiva's 4 master suites all feature king beds, luxurious ensuite baths, outdoor terraces and endless ocean views. For added privacy there is also a detached Casita with a queen bed, ensuite and ocean view terrace. The kids have their own special place in Captiva's family room which has 4 beds and a kitchenette. In every room, gorgeous wood-framed glass doors connect the indoor and outdoor spaces, filling the home with sunlight and crisp sea air.

A tropical oasis of beauty and serenity, Casa Captiva's pool and terrace is like a private lagoon hidden by palm trees and rock facades. The waters of the infinity pool flow over decorative rock formations, mirroring the waves washing against the rocks that jut out into the bay.

Resembling a grand boardwalk along the sea, Captiva's shaded outdoor terrace features lounge beds, sofas and amazing ocean vistas framed by the columned archways. Under the traditional Palapa, an 8-seat dining area sits just above the pool. All around the pool and Jacuzzi bright yellow recliners reflect the Baja sun that shines across the warm sand and surf of Captiva's secluded shoreline.
