Esta cabaña dúplex frente al mar de nivel inferior cuenta con espectaculares vistas panorámicas del océano. El dormitorio principal cuenta con una cama king y baño completo y el segundo dormitorio tiene dos camas dobles con baño de la sala. Servicio de lavandería están convenientemente ubicados en el área de utilidad debajo de la cabaña. Nuestras cabañas Round disponen de una cocina completa y cómoda sala de estar con vistas al mar. Disfrute de un corto paseo por la playa hasta el Faro de Cabo Hatteras. Cómodo aparcamiento y fácil acceso a la playa.

Ocean view in Buxton

We had a wonderful week in Buxton. The cottage is right on the ocean. We saw dolphins everyday. We would definitely stay here again.

Magnificent on the beach sunrises

Even with cold and windy weather, the cottage was warm and cozy. With the panoramic view, we sat inside out of the wind and watched the surfers ride the waves. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return in the future.

Wonderful!!

Our overall experience was great. The property was just as advertised. The location was absolutely perfect, mere steps from the water. Loved the entire community. We had 2 teenage girls and they rode bikes all over the area and felt completely safe. We stayed in the lower unit and the only problem we had was sand falling down from the upper deck. I’m not sure there is a fix for this, so just be aware. Loved every minute and would definitely stay again and will recommend it to others!!!!!

Not At The Beach, But On The Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The ocean was right there, like right out the door at times as tide came in. The house was not at the beach; it was on the beach. I plan on staying in this area on my weekend trips with family or when I go by myself. Everything was in the house we needed, beds were comfortable, and the dolphins who hung out for 4 hours on a Sunday afternoon only made it even better. Did I mention it was on the beach?

Beautiful place for a week away

We rented the bottom unit and it was a great experience. My husband and i made a lot of use out the chairs on that deck for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. During these crazy times it was also nice to not have to be right on the beach to enjoy watching the waves. We took walks along the beach but were able to keep our "social distance" by sitting on the deck. The unit itself was very nice - you can tell it was recently remodeled and looks exactly as it did in the pictures. The kitchen had plates, cookware, etc. If you're an avid coffee drinker like us bring coffee filters and next time we stay here i'll bring my own pillow. The staff was very helpful anytime we had a question.

Well, okay....

Kitchen VERY poorly equipped. Pillows shot. Front door in need of repairs. Master BR tv did not work but we did not call desk, although we did on door. Wrong sheets delivere. Desk closes early so we did without first night. Would stay again.

2022 Outer Banks Beach Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was by far the best vacation I’ve ever booked for our family. We were right on the Atlantic Ocean, steps away from the sand and waves. We experienced amazing sunrises and sunsets, saw dolphins, fishing boats, water fowl, collected shells and walked the beach daily. We soaked up the sun, crashed in the waves and watched the “crabbers” nightly. We also enjoyed the surfers, the ocean hum and all of the friendly vacationers. We ate fresh seafood at Diamond Shoals right in Buxton which was amazing; homemade, warm hush puppies with honey, a friendly staff and a full salad bar ( I’d recommend their special, stuffed shrimp with crab meat and their award winning clam chowder). We also ventured to Hatteras, where we dined at Hatteras Sol Waterside Grill, which was also delicious; make sure to grab some key lime pie for dessert, even if it’s to go. We were also regulars at Connor’s Super Market, where we were delighted to find fresh from the farm fruits and vegetables, Boars Heat lunch meat, excellent customer service and so much more. Thanks Lighthouse House View!

Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying with you for the last 10 years often twice a year. We have been in this house top and bottom for the last 5 yesrs. This time the place was dirty. Your kitchen ware is almost nill and two of the chairs in the kitchin are still about ready to collapse. The sidewalks are full of sand...I underdtand it is a beach, then supply a broom and dustpan at least. Then you went and raised the 2022 rate app. $700.00 for off season? There is not even a road to the house just potholes and parking is interesting. A reset to about three years ago would be great. I have voiced my concerns. They were met with and attitude of there are other people than you. Return bussiness from an average family is not important to your business.Good Luck.

Inability to access entrance road due to flooding was a serious issue for us. We were required to use alternate parking area which was a long walk and even this was flooded one morning. Buxton Birthday!

We loved this little ocean-front cottage. It was the perfect stay for a small group, and you couldn't beat those views. We felt like we were sitting on top of the ocean. Buxton is one of my favorite places, and will definitely stay here again!
