Sea Horse is a spacious side-by-side duplex villa located just 75 yards from the ocean, offering partial ocean and sound views from its second and third-level decks. Designed for relaxed coastal living, this 2-bedroom retreat comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests with a king master suite with a private bath and a queen bedroom that shares a bath with hallway bunks.

The upper living level features a bright, open-concept layout with comfortable seating, dining space, a fully stocked kitchen, and a convenient half bath. An oceanside deck extends the living space outdoors, creating the perfect spot to unwind after a day in the sun.

Guests have access to resort amenities, including a pool and spa, fish cleaning stations, private under-house entry, private parking, and outdoor hot and cold showers. Starter essentials like paper towels and toilet paper are provided to help you settle in with ease. Sea Horse is the ideal home base for your Hatteras Island getaway.

Nice stay

We had a nice stay. We liked how close it was to the beach. You do have a very small view of the ocean. This unit is right by the main road so the noise is the only downside. The outdoor shower didn’t work but otherwise everything was as listed.

We were traveling from out-of-state, & arrived earlier than check-in time. We took a gamble & called to see if our unit was ready early, & it was! We absolutely loved our stay here...the location was great, steps away from the beach, & close to restaurants. Had to call the front desk one late afternoon bc my husband accidentally dropped his wedding ring beneath the wooden planks of the outdoor shower. They had someone come the next morning to retrieve it for him! Overall, it was a great week...would highly recommend!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately we did not get to have our vacation due to hurricane Isaias. We were scheduled to arrive Sunday August. 2nd . Hatters Island was closed to all visitors From Sunday until the afternoon Aug.4 which would have been our last night there. Due to their advice to wait until 2 weeks before the trip( I was hoping to get a Jr. suite) I was not able to get insurance for our trip. Since the island was shut off to visitors I assumed we could use our trip price to reschedule. Lighthouse View kept the full amount of our scheduled trip. They charge you the full amount the day you book your reservation. So we lost all of deposit $1000. I sent an email asking to reschedule never heard a word back, just their charge on my credit card for the full reservation, we were very disappointed with this location. IT was suppose to be a trip with our grandson that we were not able to take due to a hurricane and the island being closed. We are very unhappy with everything because we didn’t get to stay there and they kept all our money . They didn’t offer to reschedule us either.Therefore I can’t comment on property condition, location or cleanliness due to the fact we couldn’t go.

Our house backed up to the road so that got a little noisey at night but wasn't terrible. The house had mostly everything you needed, the only thing we wish we had was a baking sheet but there were other alternatives to use. Overall, great stay.

Nicely furnished and maintained villa

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the 2 bedroom villa. Convenient beach access a short walk away. You get some water views which is nice but I would recommend the villa closest to the beach.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great time. Short walk to the beach. Short walk to pool and hot tub which the kids loved. Short walk to fish cleaning station. Basic accommodations but clean and functional which is exactly what we wanted. Unique view! Not ocean front but you can see the ocean in the distance and the bay from the same window! You can also see the lighthouse if you stretch a little. Only minor issues were that it was a little close to the road and road noise and didn't have an in house washer and dryer.

The houses were clean and supplied with everything we needed. We especially liked being able to access each unit through the upper deck so we were separate but together. I highly recommend Lighthouse View! We hope to return in the near future!
