Family vacation

Everything about our stay was great. My only issue was the bed was extremely firm and being a side sleeper was not ideal for me. With that being said i would still go back. Highly recommend for family and location it was ideal.

Cozy condo with beautiful views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I took my wife & two teenage sons here for a week long getaway. This condo is fairly nice, considering the price. The building itself is quite old, built in the 1986. Unit 1702 has two king size COMFORTABLE, memory foam mattresses. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality and comfort of the beds. We have stayed in many condos, even upscale brand new units, and the beds always disappoint, but not this time. The refrigerator does take a very long time to cool off anything when you first put your food in there (around 12 hours or so), and does not have water/ice dispenser equipped on the fridge. There is a very nice under the cabinet ice maker that was a pleasant surprise though. The biggest disappointment for us was the jetted tub that is in the master bedroom, the jets do not work. They are broken. I noticed on the persons review back in June that they were broken back then also so that’s something to keep in mind. It is a huge soaking tub, but again the jets do not work. The interior could use some updating, but overall, it’s a cozy condo with very beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico. The elevator is super slow, however, so be prepared to use the stairs if you want to get downstairs quicker. There is one pool that is fairly nice however it is not facing the ocean, so your views from the pool will be facing the parking lot, no hot tub though. The nice park that comes with this unit is it does come with beach service two chairs, and one umbrella. However, you must get down there by 8:30 to get yourself your set before they’re all taken. It’s first come first serve. Overall, it’s a nice quaint condo to stay in if you’re watching your budget.

The floors were a bit sandy when we arrived, but that’s to be expected at the beach.

The new service of having your groceries waiting on you IN the condo was so nice. I placed my delivery order to the condo and they put them away. This is also the easiest and closet beach access ever. We love to stay here and will be back!

Beautiful location!

Check in was very easy and the place met all of our expectations! we loved the porch/balcony - great view of the beach below! it’s kind of the off-season so it’s pretty quiet around which is great, we didn’t use the pool but it was always clean. Boardwalk to the beach is very convenient and it’s a real plus having beach service… Two chairs and umbrella available for our use. Made going to the beach extra easy! The condo had everything we needed. We like to cook in sometimes, and the icemaker was very much appreciated! Master bathroom could use a little updating, but we didn’t come down here to stay in the bathroom!!! it was clean and that’s all that really matters!!! like having a code for the door so we don’t have to worry about keys! parking was very easy and convenient. There are two elevators, and large carts to take all of your stuff up! We liked it so much we decided to stay an extra day, the staff is great here very helpful and friendly! We would definitely stay here again!

The view was beautiful. I got up every morning and drank my coffee and watched the world come alive. There were even Dolphins playing in the ocean. Beach was not crowded and chairs available all the time. I loved the small complex with close parking. Loved the time we had.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nautilus Condominiums is a well run, thoughtfully managed, vintage facility on Okaloosa Island in Ft. Walton, Fl. Unit 1702 is a roomy 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath condo on the 7th floor. Best features include reasonable cost, awesome view of the Gulf, comfortable furnishings, huge library, and well-equipped kitchen including a free-standing wet ice maker. Furnishings are a bit dated, bathrooms are overdue for a renovation, and carpets are stained.
