One of our favorite parts of staying at The Barndo Retreat is how easy it is to enjoy a full day at Stone Lake.

The newly improved beach, boardwalk, and public pier offer swimming, fishing, and beautiful sunset views just minutes away. Guests can rent kayaks, paddleboards, and pedal boats seasonally, or simply spend the day building sandcastles, enjoying the water, and grabbing ice cream nearby.

Stone Lake is known for excellent fishing, including largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, and panfish. Bringing a boat? A public launch and boat slips are available nearby.

Enjoy the lake all day, then return to your private hot tub, fire pit, and peaceful retreat.
