We’ve always loved staying at places that feel like home — where the details are thought through, the beds are comfy, and you don’t need to run out to buy beach gear or paper towels. That’s the kind of experience we try to create for our guests.
We take pride in communication, cleanliness, and creating thoughtful touches that make your stay easy and memorable — like a welcome basket waiting for you when you arrive. Whether it’s your first trip to Hilton Head or your fifteenth, we want Driftwood Cottage to feel like your own cozy retreat by the ocean.
We’re hands-on hosts (but not hovering), and always just a message away if you need anything before or during your stay. Our favorite part of hosting is hearing about the memories our guests make — beach days, anniversary trips, first vacations with little ones — it’s all special. Folly Field Beach has that classic, laid-back Hilton Head feel — close to everything but just far enough from the crowds to feel peaceful. We love that it’s a true “toes-in-the-sand” location. No long walks or packed parking lots — you’re literally steps from the ocean.
The Hilton Head Beach & Tennis Resort was the perfect fit for us. It’s gated, beachfront, and full of amenities like tennis and pickleball courts, a giant oceanfront pool, and casual spots to eat and relax. Plus, it has a family-friendly vibe that reminds us of the vacations we grew up with — simple, fun, and all about spending time together.
We also love that there’s a seasonal trolley stop right outside the entrance. You can hop on and explore the island without needing your car — it adds to the whole “vacation mode” experience. Whether it’s morning coffee on the balcony or an evening walk on the beach, this neighborhood offers the perfect mix of charm, comfort, and convenience.
