With contemporary comfort at the heart of its design, this apartment combines the best of both worlds – retaining classic Catalonian charm despite a sleek, modern facelift.
Light, bright and airy thanks to a palate of nude, mauve, white and sage, this 62m2 apartment located on the 3rd floor impresses with striking street views and an effortless open-plan layout. In the living area, wooden doors slide open to flood the space with sunlight, revealing a spectacular seating area with bay window – perfect for soaking up the city below. Sancal’s Japanese-inspired Sumo chairs and couches lend the apartment its name and bring a strong silhouette to the living and window areas. These bold elements are complemented by simple geometric design details, such as circular coffee tables and rectangular floating shelves.
Exposed brick walls are given an alabaster makeover in the bedroom, set up with a high quality Swissflex queen-size bed and benefitting from en-suite full bathroom with a rain shower. In addition, the bedroom boasts a french balcony with street views.
Fully equipped with top-end appliances, the stylish kitchen also features a convenient dining area.
Situated right next to Placa Catalunya – Barcelona’s main hub – our Sumo apartment offers the perfect base for exploring the city. Directly east you’ll find the vibrant Gothic Quarter and next to that, the artistic Raval district. Head north and you’re in the glorious area of Eixample, gazing at Gaudí’s architecture and high-end fashion stores.
