Other things to note

The home includes 20 interior stairs between levels (not ideal for guests with mobility challenges).

Wildlife sightings are common—please respect local animals and keep food secure.

South Lake Tahoe enforces strict noise ordinances; quiet hours must be observed.

Seasonal conditions (snow/ice in winter, high fire risk in summer) may impact travel or outdoor activities.

Security Deposit Policy
A refundable security deposit of $500 will be collected 2 days prior to your check-in date. This deposit is held to cover any potential damages or policy violations during your stay. It will be automatically released within 2 days after checkout, provided there are no damages or additional charges.

1. Check-In & Check-Out (Standard)
Check-in: After 4:00 PM
Check-out: Before 10:00 AM
Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request with advance notice.

2. No Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the home, including vaping.

3. No Pets or Animals
In rare cases Pets/Animals of any kink may be allowed if approved. If approved there will be a fee. Please share your pet breed and size with request.

4. No Parties or Events
This home is intended for relaxation and family or group getaways.
Any unauthorized parties or events will result in immediate termination of the booking and possible fees.

5. Maximum Occupancy
The maximum number of guests allowed is 12.
Any additional guests beyond this number are not permitted without prior approval.

6. Use of Owners Personal Items
In general, the use of any owner personal items such as bikes, skis, or items that aren`t typically available to guests should not be tampered with in any way.

7. Cleanliness & Respect for the Property
Please treat the home with care and respect.
Dispose of trash and avoid leaving food out to prevent attracting wildlife.
Any damages to the property or missing items will be charged to the guest.

8. Parking is available for up to 2 mid size vehicles.
Please park in the designated spaces or driveway only, and avoid blocking neighbors` driveways.

9. Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are between 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM
Please keep noise levels down in general, especially during these hours to respect neighbors.

10. Security
The home may be equipped with exterior security cameras for safety.
Tampering with security equipment is strictly prohibited and may result in cancellation of your stay.

11. Use of Fireplaces
The fireplaces are available for guest use—please do not leave them unattended.

12. Waste Disposal
Please dispose of trash by placing in exterior bear box trash cans or take with you to dispose. Do not use the trash cans in the garage - see checkout instruction after booking

13. Damage Reporting
Please report any accidental damage immediately so we can address it quickly.
Prompt reporting may prevent additional charges.
These rules help maintain the high standards of a luxury property while ensuring the comfort and safety of both guests and the home.
14. A $200 refundable deposit or a $30 non-refundable damage waiver is required before check-in.
