Encantadora casa chalet con elegantes ventanales con vistas a la calle Lawrence River. A minutos de Alexandria Bay, pero todavía muy aislado. Entrada boscosa privada que conduce hasta 100 pies de costa, un muelle de 40 pies, natación, pesca, paseos en bote y un hermoso patio a nivel de árboles con el canal de envío a la vista.

Nueva casa nítida, limpia y modernamente amueblada. El dormitorio principal tiene baño privado y cama queen. El segundo dormitorio tiene un conjunto de literas y acceso a un segundo baño completo. El tercer dormitorio tiene un sofá cama y puertas francesas. Esta sala también se puede utilizar como sala de estar, sala de juegos o lo que se adapte a las necesidades individuales de su familia.

No dishwasher, shower door broken, outside furniture needed replaced, needs furniture and rugs up dated. Only one window air conditioner. Location was good and the owner was helpful.

We loved staying at this home! Communication with Mike and Sue was great, making check in and our stay easy and perfect. We loved the deep beautiful property and all the trees. The river was low to lack of rain but we were still able to keep the rented pontoon boat at the dock enabling us to either sit and take in the view or hop on and go out on the river. The kids loved fishing off the dock too. The house had everything we needed except a keurig, but we brought one along because we were unsure if there would be one. There is a traditional one, so it would not have been a big deal anyway, just a tad less convenient! It was a perfect vacation home!

This house was such a surprise and perfect for our week. The pictures don’t do it justice… the kitchen and living room area is enormous and beautiful! The deck is great and the water / dock is so easy to access. We were so happy with our stay and loved every minute. I would only add an A/C unit in the second bedroom or the main room as it was 85 all week.

Fantastic Vacation in the Thousand Islands

This house was perfect for our first visit to the area. The house was beautiful and well appointed with everything our family needed. The huge back deck and the beautiful breeze coming off Chippewa Bay were gorgeous. Having our rental boat tied up at the dock made it easy for us to hit the water every day for some amazing fishing for smallmouth bass and northern pike! We even got to cruise up to Alexandria Bay and fish in the shadows of Boldt Castle and the other amazing mansions that dot the islands and riverbanks. The owner was attentive and communicated well, and even took the time to stop by and say hello. Can’t wait to return ASAP!!

Holiday on the river!

We had a wonderful stay on the river! The house was comfortable and open/spacious. The host was incredibly communicative and helpful. We enjoyed the large deck, played games in the yard, and spent lots of time out on the dock.

Beautiful home located in an equally beautiful location

The house and location are beautiful and it is situated close to Alexandria Bay and Clayton. Mike the owner was great and responded to any question we had almost immediately. We had a great time. I highly recommend staying at this property.

Not what we expected

The water at the dock wasn’t deep enough for a boat, but the entire bay was not deep enough for a boat. The view from the beautiful deck was nonexistent due to the many trees in the yard. The shipping channel was viewable only with binoculars I don’t understand why so many trees have been planted when they block the view of what everyone wants to see.

Boating Trip to 1000 Islands

This property is just the place to relax, enjoy fine accommodations, soak in nature, come and go easily in the boat. Lots to explore, easy to find your way around, Chippewa Bay community very welcoming and accommodating. This was our third visit to Hammond, NY and we'll be back! Thanks Michael and Sue

I just wish the fireplace was closer to the house.

We all had a fantastic time. Loved the space in the house . Beautiful yard. Spend every morning on there spacious deck having coffee. The pull out couch was not every comfortable for two adults. Hope be back next year.

Great secluded location

Peaceful and relaxing property. The great room and outdoor deck was really nice. Two deer frequented coming into the yard. it was close to family that were also vacationing on the St. Lawrence River. Lots of trees, so the view of the river is a little obstructed.

Excellent Location

The property is beautiful and the location is great. There were plenty of towels and washcloths and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. When the tv wasn't working properly our host addressed the problem but it took a day for him to respond to my voicemail. The problem was the cleanliness of the place. There was mold in the master bath shower. When I took the bags out of the waste baskets in the bathrooms there was dirt and q-tips on the bottom. The pull out coach in the den/ spare room was very uncomfortable. With just a little more care this place could rate five stars plus!

Great Property and Perfect Location

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great! Couldn't ask for better! Enjoyed walks on the back roads, stopping at roadside stands for fresh eggs and veggies, short drive to Alex Bay, boating, fishing, wildlife viewing and seeing the large boats pass by while sitting by the fire pit. We had 2 teen boys and a visit from our nephews 7 and 9 for a few days. Everyone had a blast! Mike was very easy to communicate with and we had the pleasure to meet him. Everything we needed except for a dishwasher. TV didn't work but we didn't care and Mike did everything he could to fix it during our visit but we wouldn't have used it anyway. The shooting stars and making smores was way more entertaining! Would definitely recommend this property. Loved the large kitchen too because that's where our family lives! Great times and memories!

A true getaway

We enjoyed the quiet location of the property to unwind and spread out to enjoy the large yard. The house met all our needs and we found the kitchen well-stocked. This was our second trip to Chippewa Bay and we felt welcomed and the locals we very helpful with boating issues due to low water levels in the St. Lawrence River.

Lovely spot in the 1000 Islands

We had a wonderful stay at this house, our first time in the 1000 Islands. Chippewa Bay is a bit off the beaten path but all the better for it. Our family of three plus two friends shared the 2.5 bedroom chalet (.5 bedroom because it’s a pullout couch with French doors). The setting, with a grand view of the water Is magnificent. There is a nice lawn and dock shared with a house next door (both owned by the same owners). We rented a pontoon boat but kayaks and or canoe would also be fantastic to have, to get into the smaller waters off the bay. The house is very close (by boat) to Singer Castle as well. Mike was easy to communicate with, especially with a slight issue upon our arrival.
