I’m a young Cuban who moved to Austin a couple of years ago, and since then this city has really made me feel at home. I’m very grateful for the opportunities I’ve found here, and now I’m looking for a way to give something back by sharing a piece of my culture with the world.
That’s why I decorated this space with Latin and Cuban touches – so that even though you’re in Texas, you can still feel the warmth, color, and joy of my island. Through this apartment I try to show each guest what Cuba is like, how we live, what we feel, and why we are so proud of our roots.

I chose this neighborhood because, honestly, it has everything. You’re in the heart of The Domain:
Within just a few steps you can go from Balenciaga to Gucci and Louis Vuitton, stop by Zara or H&M if you want something more affordable but still stylish, and then continue to Victoria’s Secret, the Apple Store, Whole Foods, or Starbucks. There are tons of restaurants around too – from pasta at North Italia to Latin flavors at Gloria’s.
This is the only place in Austin where, in a single day, you can learn to dance salsa, shop luxury brands, enjoy a great dinner, go to the movies, or catch a comedy show – all within walking distance. Very few areas in the city offer this much luxury, comfort, and entertainment in one spot. That’s why I chose it: because here you truly don’t need a car to have a complete experience.

I know that, because of how the world is right now, many people can’t easily travel to Cuba; so I wanted to create a space where you can get closer to our culture without leaving Texas.
Here, you can enjoy a high-end, convenient area with everything around you, and at the same time learn a bit more about Cuban culture: ask for recommendations on drinks, coffee, food, music, and places, and leave not only with photos of your trip, but also with a different cultural experience.
