Welcome to Casa de Olas, a 3bd/2ba home in a fantastic location in the bustling Park Circle neighborhood, just a mile away from the main drag with its great restaurants, parks, events, and nightlife! Notable features of the home are the hip coastal decor, updated interior, and the backyard oasis with a bar and games, ready to welcome you for your stay in Charleston!

*Can be booked together with the guesthouse for an entire property with 4 bedrooms and 7 beds. Perfect for larger groups!

Layout:

- Entry foyer
- Sitting area/office with sofa, workspace w/ desk and chair, and books/reading material
- Kitchen with all major appliances, coffee station with drip coffee maker, Keurig, and french press, and laundry closet with washer/dryer
- Living/dining area with sectional sofa, Smart TV, and dining table seating 6
- Primary bedroom with king bed, ensuite bathroom with dual vanities and stand-up shower, and door leading to backyard
- Second bedroom with queen bed
- Third bedroom with twin daybed with pull out twin trundle
- Second bathroom with shower/tub combo
- Backyard oasis with outdoor sectional sofa, hammock, outdoor bar with bar stools for 6, darts, and cornhole
- Off-street parking in tandem in the driveway to the left of the home for up to 4 vehicles

Guests have access to the entire home, the backyard, and off-street parking in the driveway to the left of the home.

Please note that there is a detached guesthouse on the property that is a separate rental unit with it`s own entrance and parking. It can be booked with this unit as an entire property, with a total of 7 beds over 4 bedrooms.

Guests are asked to always message through the app for any communication. In case of dire emergency, feel free to call, as the home is managed locally.

Park Circle, located in North Charleston, is an up-and-coming location with a lively dining and nightlife scene centered on East Montague Avenue. The Hunley submarine, which was lost for more than a century, is on display, plus artifacts found onboard when it was discovered. A butterfly garden and disc golf course at Park Circle, and Quarterman Park with a small lake, offer peaceful retreats.

- 20 minute drive (15 miles) to Sullivan`s Island (nearest beach)

All Park Circle area attractions are only a 10-20 minute walk away.

A vehicle will be needed to further explore the Charleston area.

Uber/Lyft are available should you choose to leave the car parked.

QUIET HOURS

We kindly ask that you respect our neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum during quiet hours from 10pm to 8am. Any violations will result in noise complaints being called in and possible removal from the property.

CANCELLATIONS

Guests will receive a 95% refund up to 30 days before check-in. After that, no reservations are given.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT

A $500 damage deposit will be pulled from the card used for booking prior to the departure date. This deposit will be fully refundable to the card within 5-10 business days after departure if there are no claims made for damages.

HOUSE MANUAL

The house manual with all of the details needed for your stay will be sent out at 9am THE MORNING OF YOUR ARRIVAL directly in the message thread of the account used for booking.

Please do not ask for it earlier, or ask for it to be sent elsewhere.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

Your safety and comfort are our priority. In the unlikely event of a MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER FOR CHARLESTON COUNTY during your stay, rest assured that both the Owner/Host and the Property Management Company WILL REFUND 100% OF YOUR PAYMENTS for the dates of evacuation. Once refunded, neither party will have further liability regarding your Reservation.

Please note that ONLY MANDATORY EVACUATIONS WILL QUALIFY FOR REFUNDS OR ALTERATIONS. No other travel disruptions due to weather, whether in South Carolina or other states, are eligible. For protection, we recommend travel insurance, especially in high-risk months like hurricane season (June through November). Airbnb`s insurance or other options are recommended.

INSECTS

As Charleston is situated in a warm, coastal climate it is possible to see insects inside or outside of the home at times. These include palmetto bugs, sand gnats, mosquitoes, ants, etc. Those who reside in the Lowcountry just accept this as part of living here but it may be unsettling for those from other areas. The home is treated regularly for pest control but this will not entirely eliminate insects from getting inside at times. Please do your best to not keep doors and windows open and not leave food or drinks out in the home as this will attract insects. FINDING AN INSECT IS NOT CAUSE FOR A REFUND.

DUPLEX

There is a detached guesthouse with it`s own private entrance and parking on the property. The main home and guesthouse share no spaces. Both units can be booked together for an entire property consisting of 7 beds and 4 bedrooms. Great for groups!

SUPPLIES

All reservations are equipped with at least one towel/washcloth per guest, one hand towel per bathroom, three rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, 3 trash bags, 3 dishwasher pods, and 3 laundry pods. If any supplies run out mid-stay, guests are responsible to provide any additional supplies needed for the remainder of their trip.

LANDSCAPING

Landscaping is scheduled around every two weeks and not on an exact schedule so there is a chance that you may see the landscapers on the property during your stay.

DECORATING

Use painters tape for event decorations to avoid damages and do not use any glitter or other similar decorative items that are difficult to clean. Damages due to tape removal or decorations or additional cleaning will incur a $500 repainting/cleaning fee.

SMOKING

There is to be no smoking/vaping anywhere indoors. Any evidence that guests have smoked indoors will incur a $500 fine. All guests are responsible for disposing of any cigarette butts properly as there are not to be left anywhere outside.

PET POLICY

Unfortunately, this is not a pet friendly property. Any unauthorized pets will be subject to a $500 fine and cancellation of the reservation without a refund.
