Our group of 9 had a wonderful stay at Stella Maris over New Years! The house was well-stocked and clean and Julie was extremely responsive to a few issues that arose. Even though it’s just outside 30A, the Carillon Beach neighborhood is incredible with 3 private pools (one of which was heated), great open space and playground. We were happy to have a basketball court and heated pool! The private beach access is second to none, the house is a 3 minute walk to the closest dune walkover (beach access point). We had 5 adults, 4 kids, and a baby and the house had a nice amount of room for us to spread out. There’s one queen bedroom with en-suite bath on the main level off the living room, which is where my mom stayed. The rest of the bedrooms are upstairs. The primary suite with King was awesome, with a large bathroom and expansive private balcony overlooking the front. It was nice to open the door and let the refreshing January breezes blow in at night :) There’s also two king bedrooms which share a large Jack and Jill bath with double vanity and separated shower/toilet for additional privacy (also on the second level). Lastly, there’s a small bunk room on the second level which was great for kids (the top bunk was tall though!). The downside for the bunk room is that there’s no common bathroom, so the kids had to go through one of the bedrooms to go potty or bathe (the primary or the Jack and Jill) or go downstairs. On the third level are two small twin beds (no bath though).
