We recently stayed at the apartment at Berkley South apartment at Oakland Park/Ocean Blvd.Pros:Location was great and proximity to the beach is excellent. Parking was excellent.Swimming pool was nice (heated)Grocery store next doorCons:No window coverings in the entire apartment. This could possibly pass in some rooms but not in the bedrooms where there are a lot of street and building lights outside. I informed the host but nothing was done. We were then on the hook to buy temporary blinds so we could actually sleep at night.No soap,toilet paper, or shampoo supplies. No hair dryer. I told the host and was told to go buy some at Publix.Kitchen amenities were very minimal and of poor quality.Beach equipment was dilapidated and towels were old.I was accused of breaking a closet door lock and 100 was withheld from my deposit. A simpler explanation would have been that the closet door was never locked and perhaps I inadvertently opened the door (unmarked) looking for toilet supplies.Poor treatment by host. Stay away from this place.
