Construido en 1875, esta encantadora casa ofrece privacidad total en el corazón del centro de Annapolis. We came to town for my husbands 40th USNA reunion. This home was not only the perfect location for all the festivities it was a great location to gather with friends. Those that stayed with us all suggested we book this home again for our next trip. Beautiful home!

Commissioning Week Dream

We were in Annapolis for our son's Commissioning Week with our family and extended family. The house was perfect....location was walkable to everything, kitchen was fully stocked for all our needs, bedrooms comfortable, plenty of bathrooms and space to spread out. We used the outdoor area every day, especially the fire pit. The house had everything and we felt as if we were staying in our own home. The hosts were extremely attentive and even ordered a specialty pan for our son's favorite cake. We highly recommend staying on Charles Street whenever you visit the Academy or Annapolis!

Exactly as advertised!

Erin and Laura's property was exactly as advertised - beautifully furnished, spacious, great centralized location, and tremendous picturesque outdoor gardens. It was perfectly suited for our extended family staying in Annapolis for our son's wedding in late July. The interiors of the home and the gardens served as a great backdrop for the photographer and videographer as they documented the groom and groomsmen getting ready for the wedding, along with some stunning group portraits. Wedding related activities kept us so busy that we would have appreciated some more down time in order to relax and enjoy the home even more!

Perfect Home for USNA Commissioning Week

This was the perfect house for Commissioning Week. I wanted a house that my whole family could stay at that was close to the yard. This certainly fit the bill! We were able to walk to every event during the week. For Commissioning day, we drove to the stadium in 5 minutes. We avoided all of the DTA traffic. Parking - no problem - we fit 5 cars in the driveway. Outdoor space - perfect - beautiful garden, grilling space and lounging area. The garden is shaded and lovely to relax in after a busy day. The house had ample space. The kitchen was well appropriated. The bedrooms were very comfortable. I will say that the house has stairs - not for those who are unable to navigate. Erin was very accommodating and easy to contact. When we had some issues with the refrigerator, grill and cooking fan, she was available to assist. This is a beautiful house and we made memories that will last a lifetime!

Wedding weekend

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating my daughter’s marriage. We use this house as our home base for the immediate family. The outdoor space was very beautiful and afforded us the opportunity to have extended family over to visit with the bride and groom. Thank you for opening up your home to us!

Stunning House! Highly Recommend.

My family rented this house for a few days before my wedding weekend in Annapolis as a place to gather together before the larger group arrived and it was absolutely perfect. The house itself is stunning -- All the beautiful charm of a historic property but with all the features/conveniences of modern upgrades. All the comforts and supplies we could possibly need to be comfortable, and plenty of space for 10 people to be in one house and still feel like you have your own space. And the outside space is amazing -- perfect for gathering in the beautiful fall weather we have. Not only is the listing accurate as pictured, it's even better in person really! And the LOCATION - to die for. A two block walk to the heart of Annapolis, yet on a quiet street itself. We can not wait to come back again in the future to this beautiful house!

USNA Parent Weekend a Success

Our family of 9, plus our Plebe had an amazing visit!! This house was the ideal location to USNA and DTA. The backyard was perfect and there were plenty of places in the house to either gather as a group or be alone. Highly recommend to all USNA families!!

I rented the house after talking with the property manager about being able to use it for a small garden tea party baby shower. My daughters, nieces and I stayed at the house a few nights... first to get a feel for what we would need to bring vs what the house could provide. We discovered a well equipped kitchen ( the very best equipped of any VRBO I have ever rented!) and the perfect garden spaces. It is only a few blocks to walk into Main St. Annapolis making it easy to dine. Friends could easily use the Hillman Garage to join us for a dinner here or a breakfast there ! Erin, the manager, was quick to respond to text! in short - Not only was it perfect for the baby shower tea party - it was so perfect, I look forward to going again just for a vacation!

October 2019 Stay

The house is wonderful in all aspects. Everything is included from paper towels to glasses and dinnerware. Refrigerator even comes with butter, beer. Just like your own home. Our stay could not have been nicer.

Perfect for Commissioning week 2019

This property surpassed our expectations! The proximity to the Naval Academy and Navy Stadium Make it perfect for commissioning week. We could walk to everything. It made it easy for our Midshipmen to run back and forth to the Academy, since during commissioning week they still have mandatory early mornings and events on the yard. The house comes with a spacious driveway that made parking easy. I know other houses I looked at in DTA only had one spot that came with house. This was a big bonus. Our family spent most of our free time in the backyard garden. It was impeccable and a perfect gathering place for morning coffee or evening cocktails/grilling out. Our stay in this house made our celebration week the best it could be. No regrets about staying here. Worth every penny! The property manager , Erin , was a delight to work with from beginning to end. She worked hard to please us and was very prompt with initiating our damage refund.

Elegant Mansion in downtown Annapolis!

For our 40th USNA Reunion we stayed with three other Naval Academy couples over our reunion weekend. The property manager (Erin Montgomery) was a pleasure to work with. After first arriving we had a minor issue with an electrical outlet in one of the 4 bedrooms, she had an electrician out in 15 minutes and quickly fixed the issue. The house and grounds are magnificent! Of all the reunion activities over the weekend, actually returning to this home was the highlight. It is spacious, very well appointed, and stocked with everything you need. We spent each evening out back in the English Garden with fountain, dancing in the moss garden until midnight. We had such a nice time, we actually had a brief visit by the friendly Annapolis Police asking us to tone it down a little. For a bunch of 60 somethings, we found the reprimand hilarious!! If you want to experience how the rich people live, you need to stay here. I can't recommend this strongly enough, we will definitely stay here again! Thank you Erin, for making our 40th reunion truly a memorable experience!

The Ritz-Carlton of Annapolis Homes

Our family visited Annapolis for Plebe Parents Weekend and we couldn't have been happier with this house! It is exquisite; more beautiful in person than the photographs (and the photos are what drew me in). Love the location (an easy walk to Main Street and the Naval Academy), quiet neighborhood, fountain and well-manicured garden in back and side yard, high ceilings, chef’s kitchen, dreamy bedding, plentiful and lovely linens, driveway and parking area. It’s spacious yet comfy, decorated beautifully with hints of modern amid a traditional, world-class decor. We also appreciated the little touches like board games, an umbrella on the porch (just in case!), and fresh flowers. It felt like Christmas in August having our family all together again, able to enjoy every moment with our son before he returned to the Naval Academy — rejuvenated with relaxation as well as lots of hugs, laughs, and great meals together. Looking forward to our next time already.

Beautiful home, great location!

Beautiful home, well provisioned with incredible kitchen perfect for large families. The outdoor area is great and wonderfully landscaped with a built in grill and lots of seating space. Perhaps the best feature of this wonderful property is the ample driveway allowing for parking which is a premium in Annapolis. Erin is wonderful to work with and was very helpful with some details for our trip. Highly recommend this property.
