We had the best Labor Day weekend here! Plenty of space for the 11 of us. The home was clean and quiet. We were a bit secluded which we loved. This home is right on the water. We brought kayaks and used one that was there as well and went to the cliffs nearby to jump. The screened in porch was perfect for us to enjoy time together and still be outside without the bugs. Be sure to bring citronella candles tho! The mosquito still find a way in otherwise. We took advantage of the fire pit outside and foosball inside! The photos really don't do this place justice. There were a few minor hiccups but the hosts quick response and attention to detail was top notch! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay! Plenty of parking too! The ONLY thing I would say is to make sure you have an AWD or 4 wheel drive vehicle to get down to the house. No issues for us, but that turn into the driveway can be a doozy especially in the dark! Overall, Melody and Steve have an amazing place and we're the BEST hosts! We had such a a good time that I completely forgot to take photos all weekend!

We enjoyed our 4th weekend! Beautiful home, owners were extremely helpful on places to eat and things to do. Loved sitting on the screened porch overlooking the lake. Extremely relaxing!! We will be back!

Great stay!

Wonderful spot with walk up to lakefront & beautiful rock bluffs. Lovely big screened in porch with lake views, chairs & table. Also nice outdoor fire pit area. Would stay again.

Labor Day Weekend

This has been one of the best VRBO rentals we’ve stayed at. The owners were fantastic - very responsive to every message! Spacious and updated house with a beautiful view of the lake! Very clean! Loved the screened in back porch and just relaxing.

Old house, poor maintenance, zero cell signal, poor wifi, dangerous entrance, limited parking, NEXT.

The location is nice, but the entrance is DANGEROUS. You cannot access rental without 4x4 pick up truck. And forget bringing a boat down to the house. The house is in need of serious maintenance. The AC failed on the first night. Several lightbulbs missing, we were blamed for a broken toilet that was broken when we arrived. You cannot access the Internet through the the Wi-Fi or cell service from this location. Planning is very difficult. We left the place cleaner than we found it yet KAREN is up charging for a broken light fixture. Personally inspected everything upon departure, so be prepared for the pushy, yelling, insensitive landlord to make her maintenance issues your problem. I would pass on this one yall. Your gonna get stuck on that driveway. I warned you.

Great getaway by the water

Very relaxing stay with family for a few days. There were 12 of us and I’d say it would be more suited to 10 or less but would definitely stay again. Very clean and comfortable. Communication with host couldn’t have been better. Melody is great!

There’s a good chance this place will work for you. There are some maintenance issues, but may be par for the course on this lake. It’s a good size for six people, but maybe not eight or 10.

Quiet retrieve on a beautiful lake

Nicely updated and well maintained home. Perfect size for our family/group. Location off the gravel road was a little challenging to find at night. Host was excellent in communication and timely responses. Thank you for allowing us to stay there.

Wonderful Property

This property exceeded our expectations! Great kitchen—spacious bedrooms and a beautiful screened porch to sit and enjoy the view of the lake. There were kayaks for our use which the family loved. We made sweet memories and hope to go back!

Lake House

Awesome week's stay with the family (2 couples, 5 kids from 11-15). There's a great little cliff jumping spot just minutes away and the Marina is really close as well. The horseshoe pit could use a little work, but overall the Property was great, clean, and as advertised

So Relaxing

We loved our stay in this secluded home on Greers Ferry Lake. Even though it is November, we used the screened in porch every morning. We also had fires nearly every night. This home was cozy, well-stocked, extremely clean, and provided just what my family needed...A relaxing Covid-free Thanksgiving get-away! Thank you so much! Sharon

Relaxing stay on Greers Ferry

This property was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 7 kids (Ages 8-16). The screened in porch was a perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful surroundings without any bugs. Our older kids loved fishing from the bank and taking the kayak out on the water. We saw a bald eagle and a pileated woodpecker from the porch. Kids swam right out front (even though we visited in October!) and did cliff jumping from a spot about 3 minutes drive from the house. Kitchen is bigger than it looks in photos and was well stocked for all of our cooking needs. We also had plenty of extra sheets/blankets/towels. Kids also loved making s’mores in the fire pit. The downstairs bathroom is tiny but there are two nice sized full bathrooms upstairs. Owners could not have been more responsive. We had a great stay!!

Perfect Getaway

Wonderful Fall Break weekend! Our family of 6 had plenty of room at this clean and well appointed property. We enjoyed the easy lake access for swimming and kayaking and the beautiful screen porch for relaxing and playing games together. Owner is very responsive and we would definitely recommend! Wonderful Weekend!

We absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back. We were scattered in ages from 22 to 75 and we all had a great time. We enjoyed the whole house from top to bottom. We had wonderful meals that we prepared together in the large kitchen and cooked on the grill. We sat on the porch looking at the lake and listening to nature. We had s'mores at the fire pit. We went kayaking in the lake behind the house and we played games around the large dining table. The only time we had to leave was to rent a boat to hit the lake. We could not have asked for a better weekend. The owners were awesome to deal with. All seven of us highly recommend this property.

Family vacation

We had such a wonderful time at this property. A large group gathered for my grandmother's 86th birthday and this house was perfect! We enjoyed the large screened in porch so much! It was a short walk to the water and we enjoyed fishing and swimming right there at the house. The jumping cliffs were so close a few of us paddled the kayaks to them. The house was very clean and provided to perfect setting for our large group. The owners were extremely nice and helpful with anything we needed. I highly recommend this property!

Excellent water front house with perfect location to the cliffs!

Perfect location! This is our fourth time on the lake & this has been the best location yet. The proximity to the cliffs was great. We were able to leave the boat in the water tied right off the property all week. The inlet off the house is perfect for all water sports. The house size is perfect & very nicely decorated. Literally a 2 minute boat ride to the cliffs! The owner was very sweet & accommodating! We will definitely book this house again on our next trip! 7/27/2020 COVID... #socialdistancing
