Great location in quiet neighborhood

Pros: Great location, quiet neighborhood, very comfortable bed, nice patio, communication with owner was very good. Patio was pleasant. Kitchen met your basic needs. Cons: If you are looking for a modern type place in terms of looks, this would not be for you. If you want a comfortable, clean, and conveniently located rental, you will be happy here. We would rent it again.

Great cottage, adorable neighborhood

Property was perfectly suited for our trip to Seattle and the location was perfect for several trips downtown, to Pike Place Market and to the water. The cottage has many amenities, including washer and dryer. The tv and wifi were not working when we arrived, but after communicating the issue, it was resolved. Overall a very comfortable place to stay.

Nice, quaint and quiet setting.

Loved the home, reasonable backyard space, plenty of space in the home for 4 adults. 1st come, 1st serve on-street parking however we did not have any problems getting a space in front.

Great location!

Friendly service, great to work with (even let us in early) great location, great price. The only reason for 4 stars is that the place was a little dirty and in need of some TLC. Stains on the furniture and dusty. The bedding was clean. I considered the overall experience compared to the price.

Whimsical house & Great location

We were visiting our son so only slept at house. House is a great location between Green Lake and Phinney Ridge. Walked to restaurants on Phinney Ridge. House was clean and comfortable.

Charming home, quiet neighborhood, close to Seattle

We enjoyed this cozy and charming craftsman home! It was all set up with everything we needed. It was just a short uber ride to downtown Seattle. And when we were done with our city excursion, we got to come home to a quiet and quaint neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for our little family

I loved the pictures, I loved the description, and we were not disappointed. My only concerns going in were if my 2.75 year old would need to have the mattress on the floor in my room or some other configuration and if the floors were going to be creaky due to age of house and we'd be confined to not moving around once she was a sleep (light sleeper). Floors are NOT creaky and the room for her even had a little table with chairs that made her "own" the room within minutes. She slept in her own room, we could move around after bedtime (sad we didn't get change to enjoy the patio, but our trip was packed and short), and it had everything we needed. If available, we would certainly stay here again on our annual trek to Seattle. Only slight bummer comment is about the parking; we arrived late on a Friday and parked right in front, but for the rest of the weekend, every time we came back to the house it was a little tricky, but we still never parked more than three house up the street...not a huge deal, except for corralling the toddler across and down the street (and then we were parked that far away when loading up on our last day).

Wonderful, peaceful house

We had a great time at this sweet little house. It’s in a cute neighborhood that has a little grocery store, restaurants, and ice cream just a few blocks away. And a gorgeous lake a few blocks in the other direction. The house itself was very clean and quiet and comfortable and served as a great home-base while we explored Seattle.

Cozy Seattle Charm

This cute little cottage made our Seattle getaway a trip to remember. Great location with fun shops, good restaurants and excellent coffee, just a short walk away. It's also close to the zoo (Our kids favorite) and public transportation to get into downtown easily. Although this home is an older home it was surprisingly clean and well maintained. It was just what we needed! We'd totally stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in this cute cottage with a great location, but it’s a bit musty and in need of a good scrub in the kitchen. It was comfortable and spacious enough for four of us — one kid was on the couch.

Very clean and charming

Unfortunately, we pretty much just slept there because we spent the entire day and evening with family in Lake Forest Park over Thanksgiving. However, we did enjoy our stay in the cottage and have absolutely no complaints. Very clean. The stair climb was challenging with my bum hip. We thought that parking would be a problem but it wasn't. I do recommend staying at Dragon fly cottage.

Ideal location for our needs

The house was fine for 3 of us. Well stocked kitchen, quiet street,and close to restaurants and activities. In good weather the backyard looks like it would be a great place to hang out. Steps to the house were a little challenging for our older travelers. Would stay here again.

Nice Neighborhood, close to downtown Seattle.

We enjoyed our stay at the Phinney Ridge Home. Great location next to Green Lake. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. Nice quiet neighborhood. The kitchen equipment could use a little updating and the house has an odd smell, but it could just be because it is older. The decor is fun and the owner was quick to answer questions and was very helpful. Overall we would recommend staying here!

Very Nice and comfortable and clean!!!

We stayed for a long weekend. Perfect cute getaway cottage in the city, nice neighborhood, close to the city. Very well decorated and they had some toys for the kids and strollers!! We did a few puzzles and donated one to house we brought that we couldn't fit in or luggage. We had a excellent time would rent this place again and again!! We felt right at home.. We loved it!

Lovely Neighborhood!

The cottage is situated in a lovely quiet neighborhood not far from Queen Ann, Seattle Center and downtown. There are many restaurants, coffee shops and bars within walking distance. Two of our favorites were Thaiku (seriously the BEST Thai food I have ever had) and Ala Mode Pie Company ( the summer peach pie is so good!). The cottage itself was very nice for our family. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had plenty of room for us.

Nice, quiet location

We enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, well equiped and on a quiet, safe street. Rhonda always answered our inquiries promptly. We would stay here again.

A perfect stay

We had a fantastic stay at this cottage up north! It was relatively easy to figure out how to go downtown, and apart from that, there were a lot of interesting places nearby! Everything from the booking went quite smoothly. The rooms were very clean and cozy. It's really just a lovely little place as it really did feel like a home. We'd definitely recommend staying there, and I am considering staying here again if I get the chance!

After falling in love with the Phinney neighborhood we purchased the cottage in 2007. We thoroughly enjoy the area and still stay in the house often.
