Sparrow's Nest Charming Vintage Apartment con vistas a la bahía

Encantador apartamento amueblado de estilo rústico y elegante de dos dormitorios en el centro histórico de North Bend.

Dos habitaciones están decoradas eclécticamente con muebles acogedores para su estancia. Un amplio baño con bañera, sala de estar y comedor, y cocina vintage completan el espacio único.

La encantadora decoración está acompañada de cómodas sábanas, toallas suaves, golosinas, café, té y el desayuno continental de la primera mañana, entre otras comodidades, para que sus viajes se sientan como en casa.

Mira el amanecer desde las grandes ventanas con vistas a la bahía del segundo piso. A solo minutos de las playas de Cape Arago, a poca distancia de la biblioteca, cafeterías, pubs, parques, caminatas, ríos y tiendas.

Gotta be there to experience the magic!!

There aren’t really words for how amazing this day was. When you enter, you are pleasantly surprised by all of the amazing intricate details of this beautiful space. But honestly above and beyond that… How the heck does someone keep such a space so sparkling clean? I definitely would like to know that secret because this place was one of if not the most cleanest place we have stayed in! And, also the most thoughtful. I’m not gonna share all of their little secrets because I want you to feel surprised as well. What I can say is the owners of this property go above and beyond to really try to make you feel special and welcome and be able to enjoy your trip. I travel a lot nowadays, more than I ever thought With my own business, I’ve been across Oregon, and I will definitely say this was one of my favorites! Also, I have significant chronic pain due to arthritis and have a special bed at home just for that. With that being said, I had really wonderful, peaceful sleep in a very, very, very comfortable bed! Don’t miss out on this really awesome opportunity. If you’re going to stay in Coos Bay bypass the hotels and stay somewhere that has a little bit of sass, a whole bunch of class, and provides a once in a lifetime experience. 💗

Couldn’t be happier, excellence from start to finish

I got this place for my sister and her kids to stay, and I cannot speak highly enough about the communication and the thought that went into this Rental – it was exceptional. So many little things that made their stay so much more personal and exciting. The hidden library was my nephews favorite part. I have absolutely no hesitation. Recommending this place and look forward to using it again. Thank you so much!

Great home base for North Bend / Coos Bay visit

Sparrow's Nest was a great place to stay for a coast visit with our in-laws. The whole apartment was immaculately clean and the host provided both abundant information and a wealth of useful items like snacks and toiletries, above and beyond anything I've seen at any other short-term rental. As noted in the property description, you'll hear some road noise due to the proximity to downtown and the old house, but we had no trouble sleeping in the comfortable beds. The kitchen is large and very well equipped. You're in easy walking distance from various downtown restaurants, and a short drive from some beautiful spots on the coast. If you want a place to stay on the south coast, you won't regret staying at the Sparrows Nest!

Very Happy Stay!

Wonderful stay experience! Great location. Shayla thought of everything. Ambience was impeccable. We kept finding Easter eggs (metaphor) each day. Host was absolutely amazing! I rarely EVER give 5 stars….i would give Shayla 6 stars if I could!

Perfect for class reunion stay with friend

We love the Sparrow’s Nest! It’s so cozy and comfy and so many extra amenities are provided. The location is very convenient too. This was our 3rd stay and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.

Great Vintage Vibe

This was my second stay with my sister at the Sparrow’s Nest in North Bend. Shayla is a wonderful host who is very responsive and takes great pride in providing a charming apartment with a great vintage vibe. The location is great and the nest is a perfect place to use as a home base for enjoying the southern Oregon coast or for staying in and relaxing.

Home away from home

The Sparrow’s Nest was so comfortable and welcoming. The host left us some breakfast treats and coffee. The rooms are beautifully decorated— the photos don’t do it justice. Beds were comfortable and the whole place was spotless. Within a short walk are restaurants and cafes. We were in town for a work event and would stay again.

Wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

My friends and I stayed here for a girls’ trip and we all LOVED this place. Charm, charm and more charm. The beds were comfortable and the special touches and goodies made our stay very enjoyable. Shayla is an excellent host and always responded to our questions promptly. I’ve stayed in many vacation rentals and she is the most communicative host I have ever dealt with. The location was convenient to many of the beach hikes we selected. If I am ever in this area again, I will definitely rent this lovely apartment again. I’ve already referred it to others. Thanks, Shayla, for an amazing experience!

What a gem!

What a special home to be welcomed into! The muffins were ridiculously good, the kids ravished the snacks and candy, there we're coloring books laid out and ready for the little one, the views were amazing, every detail of this place just made me smile. it's ALL in the details...

have you ever looked at a piece of art and the longer you study it the more you see? that would describe the sparrow's nest: a feast for the senses. Shayla is amazing. there is not one little detail that she has overlooked. have a question? need a suggestion? she will point you in the right direction. the neighborhood is great - residential on one side (for dog walking) and commercial the other direction (yummy food, antiques, thrifting...) it truly feels like you are visiting a friend's house. we loved every minute of our stay.

Cozy Nest

This property is a real gem on the southern Oregon coast. The apartment has two comfortable bedrooms, a full size bathroom, a combined dining and sitting room and an ample kitchen. All the decor is nostalgic and clever and it is very apparent that the host, Shayla, takes great pride in catering to the needs and comforts of her guests. Communication is prompt and thorough and we would gladly stay at this property again when visiting the area.

Charming apartment

The apartment itself is extremely charming, welcoming and comfortable. The host obviously goes to a lot of effort to thoughtfully stock in provisions. Appliances and kitchen gear all work well. The location is good - walking distance to an old North Bend neighborhood. Parking is safe and convenient. The whole effect is to make one feel at home right away. We loved it.

A fiesta for the antique eye

The Sparrow’s Nest is the ultimate feast for the antique explorer. We could have spent all week exploring the wonders of the lodging. We were pampered and blessed by all the considerate touches in the decor and the supplies. You’ll be at home in the nest.
