"Beach Retreat" es un condominio frente al mar de 2 habitaciones en FIRST FLIGHT RETREAT es una unidad de esquina con mucha luz natural y excelentes vistas del océano. Cada habitación tiene una cama queen size, junto con un sofá cama queen en la sala de estar. La cocina está completamente amueblada con todas las comodidades para tus necesidades de happy hour. Este condominio también tiene una lavadora / secadora apilada para su conveniencia, y televisores en la sala de estar y en ambos dormitorios. Está convenientemente ubicado en el mismo piso que la piscina, el gimnasio y el acceso a la playa. A great location and nice two bedroom condo. Beautiful view and quiet end unit. Unfortunately the beds were not very comfortable and the kitchen dishes were a bit chipped and dated.

This condo was just perfect for us; fiirst floor, short easy walk to the beach, and peaceful water views. The beach was beautiful and uncrowded. The bedrooms and living area had overhead fans which was nice feature. The kitchen had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again.

Don’t use this condo in off season unless you like living with lots of debris and being watched.

Once I booked my non refundable stay I received an email stating the exterior of the building this condo is in is under repair. I understand this but did not expect what was actually going on. The exterior of the particular condo I rented had a lot of damage therefore workers were there three days ripping off the balcony (beach facing) damaged exterior siding, underpayment, and wood beneath it and replacing it resulting in men looking directly at me as I was in the condo, lots of debris covering the patio which was not cleared away at all during the stay, and loud construction noise. The rental company was rude about it when I sent them text and video proof of the debris.

Lovely condo

Just the right size for 2 people and a small dog. The view was amazing. Nicely decorated & very comfortable beds. The only complaint I have is the cleaning company. I brought my own Clorox wipes & wiped everything down. But the floors were not clean at all. My husband white socks were brown after walking around the first evening.

The condo is right on the beach which makes it very convenient. It was comfortable and clean and we enjoyed our stay! We will be back.

Comfortable place for family and pup

We had a great time with family in this condo. The beach was a short walk away. We used the fitness room which was small but adequate. We could not enjoy the pool due to renovation. The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms are fine. We enjoyed the living room with ample comfy seating and eating together at the dining table. Kitchen appliances were great. Plenty of silverware. Cooking utensils were ok. It was great to be able to bring our corgy, too. Other guests were quiet and considerate. There is tons of parking here. Some easy fixes: The dishes are only adequate—7 plates, fewer cereal bowls, and perhaps 4 assorted wine glasses. Many dishes are chipped.

Wow! Great Property, Great location

Fun for the whole family and this condo was perfect for all of us from ages 3 to 65! We had everything we needed, comfortable, cozy and just steps from the ocean! This condo and property as a whole was clean and neat. The location seems to be a half mile from Everything. We will definitely be back! Thank you

Family Get Away

Our first time at OBX and we had great accommodations; the condo was perfect and the weather was beautiful! My only complaint is that we rented beach chairs and umbrella, but had to drag them to and from the beach ourselves each day. For the money we paid, it would be very nice to have them set up for us each day on the beach. We spoke with several older couples who had also rented chairs but didn’t realize that they had to do the labor. The chairs and umbrella were just too heavy for them to carry. Otherwise, it was a great trip!

First Flight - Kill Devil Hills Retreat; Perfect Location to watch the sun rise

The Outer Banks, for me, has always been a perfect beach destination to relax, eat great seafood, and take in the views / sounds of the Atlantic. First Flight Rentals has made it that much easier for me to enjoy my time away from all of life's hustle and bustle. The check-in / check-out process has been the simplest I've experienced to-date, the proximity to the ocean, locality of near attractions and historical sites...PERFECTO! Although, I didn't 'check out' completely during my week's stay, I did choose to work half-days and have the afternoons / evenings to myself. There was one instance of an Internet outage for a couple of hours during the afternoon on Thursday; I reported it to First Flight Rental personnel who quickly responded to my issue / inquiry. I also loved that the property was very pet friendly. My Yorkie hated the beach, but he enjoyed the nice large lawn in the front of the property to socialize with other visiting pets. :) Overall, I had a great stay, loved the amenities and accessibility. First Flight Rentals has made taken the stress out of settling in and getting comfortable. Arrival and departure was a seamless process. I would recommend this location / unit ten times over! It's perfect to watch the sun rise in the morning and set in the evenings. The view is spectacular from the balcony! Thanks for making my Spring Break a visit to remember!

Relaxing oceanfront vacation

Lovely location and condo. Management was very responsive to concerns and replied quickly. I would suggest that the kitchen cabinets be better organized and checked for broken items.

Scenic Condo on the Beach

Had a wonderful stay at this well-maintained condo, directly on the beach in Kill Devil Hills. Gorgeous views of the ocean to watch the sunrise. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Communications from the property management were timely, clear and complete. We'll be back!

Nice ocean view, clean and convenient.

We stayed with another couple and our dog. The condo had a great view of the dunes and the ocean. The communication was great and we had all the codes and instructions that we needed. The hand carts were helpful, as while the condo is on the "first-floor", you still need to take the elevator or a flight of stairs to get to it. The welcome bag was a nice touch, with things we used. Everything was clean and in order. We did have a bit of trouble figuring out the TV's, maybe we just couldn't find the instructions? This was in a great location, quiet on the beach yet walking distance to some restaurants. We had a relaxing time and would return.

We had a great time! Location was great, very close to Wright Brothers Memorial and tons of places to eat and shop. Unit was on the first floor. View of ocean was partially blocked by sand dune. Beach was fantastic with easy access. Only real issues we had was related to cleanliness. Cleaning crew left hair in bathroom. Tufts of dog hair on the carpet. Mold on shower curtains. Sheets on the bed were actually put on inside out and didn't fit the mattress. Bath towels were small and cheap. Roaches in kitchen and bedrooms!!! I'd stay again, just in different unit on higher floor.

We had a great stay at first flight. Super close to lots of dining and shopping. Holy cow ice cream just down the street is AMAZING. Having a first floor condo has benefits and drawbacks. It was quicker to get on the beach but you compromise your view. Having kids and a dog we went for the first floor and still had a water view from the balcony but the dune does block the beach view. Basically the location the best of both. Everything is clean and well taken care of. Heads up the welcome bag does leave something to be desired. Toilet paper, paper towels, and 1 dishwasher tablet. No shampoo, soap, dish soap, or laundry detergent.

Outer Banks Family Vacation

Great property and great unit. Location was perfect for us with access to local attractions, the beach, pool and many restaurants. Highly recommend this property to others and they allowed us to bring our 10 year old Havanese who enjoyed herself as well.

Perfect spot for families!

We had a great stay - the condo is bigger than it appears on the listing and was extremely well cleaned prior to our arrival. It was quiet, and the beach and pool were perfect proximity for a family with young kids. Our English bulldog had a great stay too and enjoyed romps on the beach in the evening. Communication with the property management was super easy and they are very responsive! We used Instacart for grocery delivery - be sure to secure your delivery time several days before you need it delivered. OBX was really busy for grocery delivery.
