Remove armoires, remove tub, replace with shower. Check leaky faucets and very low water flow from sink in master. Patio looks great on promo picture but filthy in reality.

Very comfortable and private.The home was spotlessly clean. We were with another adult couple, plenty of room for all. I did interact with the rental company folks, always pleasant and helpful.

Fantastic Location

Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the home for 8 days with four adults and found the location to be the best for accessing all the key attractions, yet still having a nice quiet retreat when we needed to relax. The home is cute and cozy with a small pool close by. We did have to purchase all the necessities including shampoo, soap, toilet paper, and other items one may not think of so definitely recommend planning for this before your trip especially if you don't have a car. Would recommend to others for sure!

Slice of Heaven

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I call this rental "A Slice of Heaven" for many reasons. It's charming and artsy! The eclectic decor had me smiling the entire vacation.It is truly a hidden gem in Key west. Every room has a signature style, color of paint, wall paper and fabulous furniture! There is a tiny library with an inviting vibe and an array of books to husband read The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway (he was inspired after we visited the famous Hemingway House Museum) I read Gardening books and a romance novel. The house had all the comforts of home and super comfortable beds. We had coffee and breakfast each morning at the house and then cruised Duval street each night for dinner. The Truman Annex location was perfect. We like to exercise and were just steps away from "We Cycle Bike Shop." We were also close to Ft. Zachary State Park. We ran to the park and swam there most days. We even took a yoga class there. It was a Wednesday morning class called Yoga Rhythms. I absolutely loved the class and the husband and wife instructors were fun and energetic. The palm trees gave us some nice shade and a breeze as we listened to the waves crashing along with the upbeat music. There is a big sign at the park, "Yoga on the Beach." You need to sign up online to reserve a 's worth the $20!!!Every night we walked into town (just a short 1/4-1/2 mile away)We found a different restaurant each time. There was live music everywhere which was a major bonus as we love LIVE music and singing. Our friend Tom went scuba diving several times and was pleased with the proximity to the marina. He was able to walk there! In addition to the ocean, we swam at the MLK community pool in town. It is a big lap pool open to the public for FREE! It opens at 9am and the staff is very friendly. The pool is beautiful and clean. We went to Smathers Beach, Higgs beach and Ft. Zachary. Our favorite was Ft. Zachary. Finally- this location was close to Mallory Square, a great spot to see the sunset!

Absolute Key West absolutely needs work

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First the good--the location is superb. It is very near the pool, set back in a private area, and walkable to everything in Old Town--Duval, Mallory Square, many restaurants and bars. BUT, the townhome is in need of repair and improvement. The lighting throughout the home is ridiculous--there is no vanity mirror or light in the master bath, other than a very dim chandelier, so to do anything with makeup or hair, you have to go out into the hallway, and if it is not extremely bright and sunny outside, you will still not be able to see. If you aren't six foot tall, getting in and out of the bathtub/shower in the master bath is downright dangerous, with a very tall sidewall. The second bedroom only has a full size bed, so for two adults it is very uncomfortable. The picture of the outdoor area looks great, but it is in disrepair and is not a pleasant environment. The stairs are very steep and slippery, the living room couch is extremely uncomfortable, the decor is mismatched and very old. The townhome was clean, but because of the peeling wallpaper, old fixtures, etc. it didn't even appear to be clean. I'm hoping the owner will read this and realize improvements need to be made, especially with so many other places to choose from in Truman Annex. We actually selected another place but ended up here because the owners of the other place decided to renovate during the time of our reservation, even though it was made 6 months in advance. In general, our experience with the property management company and this townhome were not great, but we made the best of it and again, the location is perfect. My advice is to try to find something else before you book this place.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was ideal. Walk to everything. Pool area was very small with one table one umbrella and few chairs. We could not use it several times as there was no place to sit. The living room furniture was sparse and uncomfortable. Kitchen not well stocked one of the stove burners did not work. Outdoor grill was old rusted and dirty. AC was frigid upstairs not flowing to downstairs. Dishwasher had been emptied prematurely dishes were not clean and all had to be washed before using. The noise from planes flying over head frequently and people coming home late at night and being loud was very frustrating. We have been renting in Key West for 25 years in several places and never experienced this level of noise before from both planes and neighbor renters.

Nice, But ….

Overall, a nice, spacious unit. There were a few problems (back door wouldn’t lock, microwave didn’t work) that the management company promptly resolved. Narrow steep stairs to the bedrooms. Cookware was lower quality than typical in this price range. Two major problems: (1) there is not a comfortable chair on the first floor, and (2) there is a note that says you will have to pay for HVAC repairs if you turn the thermostat below 74. The unit was unpleasantly warm the whole time we were there.

Great vacation home for the family.

Great location and plenty of space for our family! It was nice having a washer & dryer and full Kitchen. Pool was very close by & so was the beach access. Our only complaint was the air conditioning on the first floor. Upstairs stayed very cool, but the main floor stayed warm all week. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location with a beautiful courtyard garden

We very much enjoyed our stay at Absolute Key West-the house and courtyard garden are beautiful and tucked away on a little lane, but also close to Duval St. Also, there are actually 2.5 baths, with a half bath on the 1st floor, a 2nd floor master bedroom suite with an extra sitting room, a connected full bathroom with a big tub and shower, a queen size bed and the laundry washer and dryer, and then a full bath in the 2nd floor hallway, and the 2nd bedroom just past the hall bathroom on the 2nd floor also, with a full size bed in that bedroom and a balcony overlooking the front of the house. Also, the shared is very pool literally steps away. The only downside to our stay was a paving project that started 2 days into our stay, resulting in us having to park our car on Front Street instead of in right in front of the property, having to walk through loose “sand” to get in and out of the property, and then having to carry our luggage through the “sand” when we left, which would’ve been nice to know about in advance.
