Sea Song Beach House

Enjoy your morning coffee with a Pacific Ocean view. Walk to Pebble Beach with very close beach access. While staying in Crescent City while touring the Redwood Forest and North Coast, you will enjoy close the proximity to the fine dining Crescent City offers, our high level of safety, and its great people. This home has 1 gigantic traditional bedroom, a bonus heated garage room downstairs, and 1.5 bathrooms.

WHOLE HOUSE ALL TO YOURSELF!

Entertainment:
We offer a propane grill (guests must refill propane if empty), patio furniture, foosball, ping pong, and a Smart TV. Smart TVs are Roku Smart with streaming enabled so you can stream from your phone to the TV. Smart TV's include Hulu+, NFL Sunday Ticket, HBO Max, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, Netflix, and Paramount Plus. House has board games, poker chips and cards. Internet service is provided by Charter and is 60mb/s with unlimited data and no throttling.

Comfort:
We have 100% cotton bedding on our beds with white bedding (microfiber duvet). Beds feature a blanket in addition to a comforter. Do not trust vacation rentals that don't have white bedding. All mattresses are medium firm and free of harmful chemicals. We offer some super-comfy gel pillows in addition to our standard pillows. The house is carpet-free with hardwood throughout most of the unit and tile in the bathroom and bare concrete in the downstairs game room/heated garage. We offer blackout curtains on all bedroom windows to assure darkened sleeping areas. An Eco bee thermostat is installed in the house and the home features central heat. The bedroom features a ceiling fan. Portable AC's area available by request with no extra charge with a 48-hour notice. Box fans are available as well. We have one 40-gallon propane water heater. Lighting throughout is warm 2700K light temperature.

Outside:
House features a shaded backyard enveloped by some Cypress trees. It offers a North-state vibe of moisture and tranquility. It has a manicured lawn and space for the kids to run and to walk the dog around. It is unfenced. The front yard features some pine trees and deciduous trees. In the partial shade we have a picnic table to enjoy your afternoon tea or evening cocktail. The home sits on "row 2.5" from the water, meaning it is about 2 1/2 homes back from the beach. We are a few hundred feet from the Pebble Beach trail to the beach access. You can hear the ocean both inside and outside the home. The home offers good privacy on a larger size .35 acre lot. There is no issue with parking, we can easily have 8+ vehicles at the property.

Area:
The home sits on the northwest edge of Crescent City. It is a the upscale area of town. Crescent City has its own City police department for a speedy response time to any issue unlike unincorporated County areas outside City limits. Crescent City has a lot to offer for a small size city, with more restaurants and hair salons per person than Beverly Hills! Yes, that is a verifiable fact. No, you will not see any of the high end shopping that you see there, but you'll get great services since we are a tourist-driven area. Our favorite local spot is Tsunami Bowling which closed during Covid but is back. Our second local favorite spot is "Preston Island" beach because they allow bonfires, most jurisdictions in California ban fires at the beach, so it's nice to experience it here. And of course Pebble Beach, which is basically in your front yard.

Inside:
The first floor features a massive garage with a game room and a XL laundry room with two rollaway beds. We count the garage as a bedroom because the central heating system does heat the garage and there is comfortable sleeping in the garage. The garage/bonus room offers a ping-pong table and a foosball table, a refrigerator, and a 1/2 bathroom with a single-vanity sink. The garage has concrete floors and has finished drywall. The living space is on the second floor. You walk up a set of hardwood stairs with windows overlooking a cypress tree, and find yourself in the open living/kitchen/dining area. The kitchen features tile floors, a Corian countertops, real-wood cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, a complimentary Keurig machine with liquid creamer, a dishwasher, garbage disposal, fridge, electric glass stovetop, microwave, toaster, and full kitchen amenities. If you need it, ask, and we'll probably send it over :) The open area features a large skylight to let light in, and the wall facing the ocean is mostly glass, to maximize the ocean view and sunlight. The kitchen features bar seating, and the dining room offers a round table. We have a desk we can place by request in the living room if you want it for teleworking to enjoy the view. There is a full bathroom off the living room, featuring plenty of counterspace, a single vanity sink, Corian countertops, and a shower/bath combo with a removable shower head. The giant second floor bedroom does not share any walls with the living room, it is off the hallway coming into the living room. In the giant bedroom you will find pitched ceilings, a ceiling fan, hardwood floors, two day beds (appx. full size) and a king sized bed, and a desk overlooking the front yard.

We have 90mbps Spectrum internet.

Office space:
Calling all teleworkers! Our home features telework space available in the bedroom, and by request we can setup a telework desk in the living room if you want to fully enjoy the view in the living room!

Conservation:
Our home offers some green features. We have LED bulbs in all lighting. We minimize plastic waste with our bathroom supplies. We recycle and expect guests to do the same. We have dual pane windows on all windows and the home is well insulated.

Parking:
There are no restrictions on parking.

Booking: If the calendar is open, the house is available. Yes, we take last minute bookings. If you are getting blocked from booking please message us so we can assist with your booking. Please remember to book for all overnight guests, visitors incur a fee of $15/person/day.

Security:
We do have CCTV outside the house to help protect us and help protect you and help protect our neighbors.

Shared areas:
We may occasionally request to use the first floor area laundry room. Our grounds keeping comes 1-2 times a week at random days and random times outside. Other than that, the home is completely private and all to yourself.

Our favorite part about this rental was the close proximity to Pebble Beach, an easy walk to tide pools, great rock hunting, and a lovely beach.

Overall, the house was very nice and comfortable. The team was responsive, and we appreciated receiving the grill during our stay so we could enjoy using it. The garage remote was also addressed, and although we checked out shortly after, communication remained helpful throughout. The home has a lot of potential and offered a pleasant stay.
