Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify several points for future guests. The reservation was made for 3 adults and 2 children, but our security cameras at the front entrance showed that 4 adults and 3 children checked into the property. Later, additional visitors arrived, resulting in a gathering of 9 people at the home. Our listing and House Rules clearly state that only registered guests are permitted on the property and that visitors, parties, and gatherings are not allowed without prior written approval. Our communication with you was solely to address these documented violations and to protect the property in accordance with our published policies. Our House Rules also state that shoes are not permitted inside the home. When the guests departed, there was sand throughout the interior. We also have additional footage showing guests going in and out of the home while wearing shoes, which is inconsistent with the posted house rules. Regarding the air conditioning, the home is equipped with central air conditioning, along with 36,000 BTU wall-mounted air conditioning units that provide additional cooling throughout the home. The listing accurately states that the property is air conditioned. The property listing accurately reflects the amenities provided. A washer and dryer are not listed as available amenities, so guests should not expect laundry facilities unless they are specifically included in the listing. Regarding the bathtub drain, we were not informed of any issue during your stay. When you called, I offered to drop off a drain opener, but you said you did not need me to come because you had opened the drain cover and it was fine. With 7 overnight occupants using the home’s plumbing instead of the 5 guests included in the reservation, the bathroom facilities experienced significantly heavier use than intended. Had you notified us that the issue continued, we would have responded promptly to address any maintenance concerns. Additionally, after your departure, we discovered that an orange fishing rod belonging to another individual had been taken from the property without our knowledge or permission. It was not a guest amenity or an item available for use. We contacted you regarding the missing item so that it could be returned. We ask all guests to respect personal belongings located on the property and to request permission before using or removing any items that are not designated for guest use. We strive to provide a clean, well-stocked home and responsive service to every guest. We appreciate your acknowledgment that the home was clean and fully stocked. We remain committed to enforcing our occupancy limits and house rules consistently to ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of our guests while protecting the property.
