Esta casa recientemente actualizada se encuentra en las aguas cristalinas del lago Sunapee. Está a menos de 10 minutos en coche de la mejor estación de esquí de Nueva Inglaterra, Mount Sunapee.

Great Second Visit

This is the perfect spot for a ski weekend at Sunapee. We stayed last year and loved it so we booked again. Super cute, clean, and easy. The view of the lake is a great bonus. Thank you!

A Dreamy Spot on the Lake

I stayed here with my parents for 5 nights over Labor Day weekend. We experienced a range of weather (cold/cool in the beginning and hot/humid towards the end) and I marveled at how the property owner had thought of everything we'd need to be comfortable. Multiple AC units and fans, but also blankets and central heat - we used all the above! We had such a wonderful stay. The cottage is FULLY STOCKED with just about everything you could need to enjoy some days on the lake. I kept thinking to myself that everything was so thoughtfully provided. (We would have liked some kitchen items such as a paring knife and more bowls but we probably use a kitchen more than most vacationers). Alicia was very easy to reach when we had questions and was also easy to coordinate with when my dad realized he left some clothes in the dresser and needed to return a couple days later! Highly recommend and we'd love to come back some day. Oh how I wish there was a second bathroom here so I could bring my kids and husband (along with my parents) next time!

Peaceful lake setting

There were no surprises when it came to the property, everything was just as Alicia had described. The house was neat and clean and well suited for our family of four (including 2 young children). Accessing the water was easy with the stairs off the dock and it was so nice to be able to keep our boat right there. The neighborhood is very quite, even during the days. Alicia helped to make this vacation easy with her quick responses to any questions we had.

Perfectly Quaint Cottage

This place was nothing short of fantastic! It’s small but perfectly appointed and quaint. Alicia has thought of everything and the care she takes truly shows! The location can’t be beat - basically walking distance to Newbury Harbor and the ease of swimming off the dock made it great fun for my 8 year old son. The included water toys made this a truly special time at the lake. We will most definitely be back!

Perfect ski weekend get-away

The house was perfect for our group and our needs. We are 2 adults with 2 teens. The space was set up nicely, clean and very functional. We barely used the kitchen, but it seemed fully-equipped. The TV was big and the couches were comfy. The view is beautiful and we'd consider coming back in the summer. And we hope to be back next winter for skiing.

Great for a family ski vacation

Our family had a great stay while enjoying a ski vacation at Mt. Sunapee. House is well equipped, comfortable beds & accommodations, just a few minutes drive to the ski hill. Alicia was great - so accommodating, sent helpful information for non-ski day activities, restaurants, etc. Would stay here again & would highly recommend to others.

Great post-Labor Day vacation

My wife and I made a spur of the moment decision to rent the cottage on Shore Drive. We were there Wednesday through Sunday, post-Labor Day. The house was perfect. Small, but spotless and equipped with anything we could have asked for. The house is in a small cove with houses lining the shore. On weekdays (remember, this was after Labor Day), it was very peaceful and idyllic. As one would expect, things got busier once the weekend arrived. Lots of people on decks close at hand--all friendly--and water sports galore. Not so noisy as to be problematic (and everything quieted down at night), but also not a secluded, private space. We will definitely consider renting again, though for us this is likely an "off-season" option; younger, more active people than us would find this a near perfect spot.

Lakeside Retreat

This was a magical quiet spot by the lake with all the necessary amenities wonderfully stocked kitchen and bath and many nooks to read and work peacefully! Look forward to getting back up there….

Great Stay, Great Place, Great Host

Our family ski vacation was perfect in this lakefront setting. Its tucked into a nice little neighborhood with great views and close to Mount Sunapee and local restaurants. The owner is really attentive and everything is as advertised.

Our lake experience -- perfect cabin -- comfortable, lovely appointments, sun room perfect for reading and 'some work', kitchen with all that is needed or wanted, outside tables - Adirondacks on the dock -- comfortable, private -- and we will certainly return!

Another Great Week

We love staying at this house and enjoying the lake and all the boats. We got such fantastic weather we barely had to leave the dock! Alicia is as good as it gets for a host. Very responsive and thoughtful for anything you need or any question you have. The canoe/kayaks/paddleboards provide hours of fun and there is always fish under the dock to look at with a snorkel. We will be back!

Quick Getaway

We stayed for an extended weekend and the property was a perfect place to relax and forget about the day to day grind. We fished, hiked, and took the canoe out. Alicia was very helpful and made sure that we had everything to make our stay stress free. Even with the weather being on the cooler side, we had a great time and enjoyed the property and surroundings.

Relaxing Lake home

My wife and I needed a quick weekend away and we found this place as we wanted something on the water, but not too big since it was just the 2 of us. It was so peaceful and tranquil, it was exactly what we were looking for. The home was cozy with the pellet stove and had a wonderful water front patio and dock which we enjoyed thoroughly!

Wonderful Vacation Spot

Alicia was extremely responsive and keeps this home in as good of shape as you could possibly ask. The amenities and the access to the lake are fantastic and unmatched in the area. My family and I had the best vacation. I'm in it for the swimming and boating but if you want to just lay out and enjoy a ridiculous view and read a book this is the spot for that too. Can't wait to return!!!

Perfect!

The house and location were amazing and just what we needed! When we weren't swimming and/or boating multiple times a day, we enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful view from the house. It's the cleanest/clearest lake I've ever seen. The house was perfect and had everything we needed and the kids loved having the loft space upstairs.

Perfect Little Cottage

It was everything we looked forward to. Plenty of room, great patio areas to hang out, everything you need in the kitchen, etc. Nice sandy bottom for swimming and a nice dock for the boat. What more can you ask for?

Heaven...

Our week at Alicia's property could not have been more perfect. The house was just as beautiful as advertised and the location - with direct access to the lake - was exactly as we imagined (if not better). Alicia was extremely helpful and responsive. Our only regret is that we did not reserve this spectacular home for more than one week!

Great Stay

Beautiful setting for this quaint lake front cottage. Clean, well looked after place with immediate access to a sandy beach and convenient dock. Adding Dish TV for continuous and easy watching would be a plus.

A prefect waterfront cottage!

The Lake Sunapee House is the perfect location to relax and enjoy all that the lake has to offer. Swim, ski, and soak up the sun...it's the perfect location to do that and more. The cottage is warm and cozy and offers the best location for waterfront dining.

Hi everyone!

As a Host, I want to make your time on Lake Sunapee as enjoyable as possible. For those new to the Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee region, it has it all -- steam boat tours, sandbar hot spots, sailboat racing, Jet skiing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, kayaking, paddle boarding -- you name it. I'm happy to provide any recommendations for your stay. I'm here to answer any questions you have about the house or the area.

In my free time I enjoy golfing, running and spending time on the Lake! In the winter I often ski or go snowmobiling. However, I love a night in with a great movie, pizza and a glass of wine!

We chose the Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee region because Lake Sunapee's cleanliness and close proximity to Boston.

Lake Sunapee is only a 90 minute drive from Boston which makes it the perfect destination to escape the bustle of the city and relax with stunning mountain views.

Lake Sunapee is the 5th largest lake in the State of New Hampshire. It's far less busy than Lake Winnipesaukee, which was important to us as home owners. There's less boat traffic and the water is cleaner for swimming and water activities.

The dock is 75' long and is the third largest on the lake. It's perfect for docking any motor craft.

This home is a few minutes drive to Mount Sunapee Ski Resort.

Mount Sunapee is a family friendly resort owned by Vail Resorts. The mountain has 66 trails spread over 230 acres of ski-able terrain.

½ mile to Newbury Harbor where there’s a Spa, Bubba's Restaurant, Ice Cream Window, gas station, coffee, and summer concerts.

Marzelli's Deli is down the road and has delicious paninis, pasta dishes, bakery goods, espresso and pick your own candy bar. Sunapee Harbor has waterfront dining, boat tours and shops just 10 minutes away.

More about the area:

Lake Sunapee is a 4100-acre glacial lake located in central New Hampshire. The glistening waters stretch over 10 miles from Georges Mills Harbor to Newbury Harbor. Early conservation efforts have resulted in generous stretches of shoreline forever protected from development. The forward-thinking Lake Sunapee Protective Association has been encouraging stewardship of the Class A waters since 1898.

Local treasures include The Fells- a historic estate and gardens offering a wide-range of cultural and environmental programs for all ages on Lake Sunapee’s eastern shore. Mt. Sunapee rises 2700′ and offers over 230 skiable acres on the south shore.

In summer antique Chris-Craft boats ply the waters. Sunapee Harbor is a favorite gathering spot for dining, a game of checkers on the green or a possible Steven Tyler sighting.

In the autumn plan to hike some of the 75 miles of interconnected greenbelt trails – or take a yoga class on top of Mt. Sunapee.

Winter brings kite sailers and skaters and bonfires at the State Beach.

In springtime, the Eagles soar low and the loons arrive.

New London village is a 12 minute drive offering great shopping and a summer theater. Dartmouth College is 40 minutes north. Manchester/Boston Airport is an hour drive.
