For clarification to future guests, the pool area is not permanently in the shade. The sun moves across the property throughout the day, offering both sunny and shaded areas depending on the season and time of day. In February, the sun angle is naturally lower, which can create longer shaded periods. Regarding heating, the listing does not indicate that the pool is heated. We always strive to ensure our description and photos accurately reflect the property so guests know exactly what to expect before booking. We also provide beach chairs and lounge chairs that guests can place around the pool area and return inside after use for comfort and flexibility. We remain committed to transparency and to providing an enjoyable experience for our guests.

After 13 years of hosting through VRBO, this was by far our worst guest experience. From the moment of arrival, the guest was aggressive and dismissive of our house rules, including security and check-in procedures. He falsely claimed that a camera was pointed into a bedroom. In reality, all three cameras (one at the front door, two in the garage) are installed in common areas only and were clearly disclosed in the rental agreement he signed prior to check-in. He unplugged all three cameras and ignored multiple written requests to reconnect them — a serious violation of our agreement. On the first night, he also called us at 10:30 PM after failing to read the check-in instructions, yet we assisted him immediately and courteously. Due to these repeated violations and his defiant attitude, we contacted VRBO support. Two agents confirmed that eviction was fully justified, and we followed their guidance. Despite this, the guest was fully refunded for the remaining 3 weeks and received back his full security deposit — even though he left the cameras unplugged, failed to take out the trash, and violated multiple house rules. We had to pay someone locally to address these issues. We share this to protect future travelers and fellow hosts. Extreme caution is advised before accepting a booking from this guest.

Instructions are very clear when you take 5 minutes to read them… No need to park on the street, one person go into the house to get clickers to open car gate and garage, very simple it takes 1 minute! Instead, They followed a car through the car gate and got stock, called me and had to explain the check in instructions since they didn’t read, also explained how to go to the front door, very easy, just go at the end of the garage alley and follow the side walk to the front door…Also opened the garage door remotly but didn’t listen to what I said and hung up on me… Normal we keep the thermostat at 78 while no body occupies the house and again it’s clearly said in the instructions, it takes 10 minutes to bring to ideal temperature with the 2 AC units. Yes, there is steps, it’s a townhome (I guess they didn’t looked at the virtual tour) but there is also a private elevator that goes from 1st floor to rooftop!! The layout is just perfect, 3 bedrooms end suite with their private bathrooms. Master bed is on 3rd floor and 3rd bedroom just beside…Don’t know why they used the 1st floor bedroom unless they were more guests than registered ? Just read all the other reviews and it will confirm what we are saying. We rent often to families with kids and grand parents. For the smoke detector it would of been easier to just change the battery and put no life in danger instead of removing unit from ceiling… First time guests complains about the nice blinds in the bedrooms, yes 2 of the bedrooms blinds lets light in, but when people go on vacation they usually want to wake up early to enjoy the nice weather and the beach… It is a very bad idea to use duck tape to hang table cloths…It makes damages! As all complex in south Florida, pool is being cleaned once a week, if there is more debris than usual it’s because of winds and this we can’t control, same thing for seaweed at the beach… Unfortunately we can’t guarantee weather The one camera facing the glass front door is not a surprise it’s well indicated in the contract and the purpose is for security even if the complexe is gated, added security is always good. We use the camera to give access to handyman, plumber etc and we can remotely unlock the door while looking who’s at the door. This was a very bad experience for us and we don’t recommend these guests, they left the house dirty, they were not respectful, didn’t put garbage bins on the street for collection. We’ve been renting for 10 years now and never had a bad review of this kind…Some people rent a house but think it’s an hotel

I am very sorry you didn’t read the parking instructions in the welcome guide… It says: PARKING is limited to 1 vehicle(s) in the garage. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. Absolutely NO Parking at any time in the drive court, in front of garage or in front of gate. Glad you enjoyed and was very nice having you at our property!
