Submarines glide silently past our home, half-submerged, usually with officers standing on deck stretching after long missions below. Submarines are escorted by the Coast Guard through the sailboat-dotted waters. It’s an amazing, majestic sight that feels like a scene from a movie.
Pro tip: If you hear Coast Guard sirens, drop everything and look outside. These missions are top secret, so sightings are rare and magical — a once-in-a-lifetime sight! They are more likely to pass on a weekday.
Top-secret missions mean you never know when you’ll catch one, so keep a lookout and prepare to be amazed.
