Very convenient stay for Bethany! 10 minute walk to the beach and boardwalk. House is good and comfortable overall. My only criticism would be for the owners to update the mattresses and maybe update the living room for more seating.

Perfect trip

The location was perfect! About a 7 minute walk to the boardwalk. Around the corner from the park and even though it was on a busy road it was quiet and peaceful. The management company was friendly & helpful. Would love staying here again.

Quiet, yet close to the action

The unit was far enough off of Rt24 to be very quiet, but close enough to the fun. Parking passes were a nice bonus.

Great spot, short walk to boardwalk

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental looks nicer in person than the pictures. Very nice downstairs family and eating areas. Walk was short enough to the beach that we could carry everything. It’s a side unit so plenty of light and a nice porch. Very comfortable. Yes the upstairs takes longer to cool than the downstairs but easy enough to deal with.

We had a great time staying here! Very close to the beach, and plenty of space to enjoy ourselves while on vacation! The mattresses could have been better quality in my opinion, and some of the parts of the house were showing their age, such as with doors, but overall a very positive experience!

Great rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed our stay. House was decorated nicely and items that we needed were there. Really liked that we didnt need a car to get anywhere. Appreciated the parking pass. We did park at beach one day. Needed to call maintanence 2 times for minor problems and they responded very quickly!!! Would definitely stay there again!!

Pros/ overall size and layout of property,Parking (3) vehicles,Deck nice layout and shade,Refrigerator and major appliances were good. TV in every bedroom and living room. Master bedroom adequate size and master bathroom was nice. Closets pretty good. Cons/ AC not adequate, one bedroom without ceiling fan, “bedroom not bare able during the hottest evenings. Patio/deck door lock broken. Microwave surface light burnt out. Toaster needs replacement, Fridge ice maker can’t keep up. Toilet not flushing properly in central full bathroom. Should have small tools available for basic corrections. Specifics regarding cleaning evaluation no bags in small trash cans and sand and dirt in channel of patio door. Was informed that if propane tank was empty we should pick one up and will be reimbursed, it was. A client/guest shouldn’t have to fetch propane on vacation.

Easy walk to downtown. Quiet and tucked away from the business of town. We had no issue with the place or check in. Overall a great time.

Weekend in Bethany Beach

Friends and I were looking for somewhere to reunite post college. This townhome in Bethany Beach was just the place. Great location near everything the town has to offer, close to Dewey/Rehoboth/Fenwick and overall an easy process as a renter. Great listing!

Great Stay & Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 4 boys under the age of 5 and 5 adults -- the house fit everyone. The table to eat is nice and big. We made good use of the grill. Wilgus provided 2 parking passes, so we could load up 1 car with our beach stuff, and then everyone else walked to the beach. Overall this was a great stay, everything was clean and worked properly.

Vacation was great dispute the condition of the property and distance from beach. Wilgus people were very responsive and professional. The porch was excellent with a nice grill. The place looked clean but our infant’s legs were black immediately after crawling on floor which we needed to scrub. We took a chance with the first level bathroom smell noted in previous reviews but we were still disappointed. We did not anticipate the ant problem in the kitchen area until we read the welcome notes. Despite keeping the counters clean, they wee a significant problem.

Beach Time / Family Fun / Good Eats

We enjoyed our stay! It was just a short walk to the beach. A nice variety of restaurants also just a short walk away. The only down side was the smell from the bathroom located downstairs. Called my brother the plumber her let me know it was a vapor lock and we just needed to run the bathroom sink for a few minutes and flush some toilet cleaner down the toilet to clear out the pipes it worked and the smell went away.

Perfect place our group!

This rental was the perfect place for our group! Its a short walk to the beach or downtown Bethany area to shop or eat out. The listing was accurate, nice 4BR (7Beds) plus couches. Ideal for around 8 adults but could definitely do less or more if you had kids. Living room/ deck area was great. Plenty of parking for 3 maybe 4 cars.

Sewage Smell

The house was fine. Location is great, 15 min walk to the beach. There is plenty of room for 2 families with small children. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is a nice big dining room table where everyone can gather. Negatives: 1) The downstairs half-bath had an awful sewage smell that permeated the entire house, unless you kept the door shut and fan on. Once you did that, the smell would leave the rest of the house after several hours. The management company KNEW about this issue yet still rented to us. There were many air fresheners in the bathroom. Plumbers came out on Monday and said they had been there several times over the summer to address this issue with no luck. The outside also smelled like sewer gas. So did the washing machine. 2) The HVAC did not work the first 2 days we were there. It would shut off during the hottest time of the day and it was a hot week. The maintenance guys were able to fix on Monday. 3) The ice maker did not work properly. 4) The images show bath mats, but there were no bath mats. 5) One of the upstairs toilets did not work properly. It would stick during flushing and run unless the handle was jiggled, and sometime you'd need to take off the lid and play with the floater to get the bowl to fill. The plumbers seemed to also already know about this problem but could not fix it. Wilgus should not have rented this place to anyone given the issues. I sure hope they resolve everything before this coming rental weekend for the next people.

Very cozy

Pros: Very cozy. Clean. Spacious and laid out nicely. Bright warm and inviting atmosphere. Comfortable beds and couches. Large enough kitchen table for 8 people to eat at. Close to the beach and town. Washer and dryer. Great water pressure in the showers. Plenty of dishes to use. Adequate parking. Large TV. Cons: Because it’s so close to town you can hear the traffic if the windows are open or if you’re on the porch (being so close to the beach and town made this a given but it still was worth it to us). The air conditioning didn’t seem to cool the house very well during the day time but seemed to keep it at a good temperature in the morning and night. Overall we had a wonderful experience with this house and made tons of memories!!
