My 2 sisters and I stayed here and found the unit just as described. We loved being able to see the water from the kitchen window. The beds were comfy. The A/C and shower worked great - all 3 of us could shower when we came up from the beach and never ran out of hot water. We lucked out and the other 2 units were empty during out stay so it really felt like we had the beach to ourselves. My sisters are already talking about next trip and maybe staying a bit longer and getting the larger unit, though we had plenty of room for us... just liked the idea of the screened porch and being ground level.

Peaceful Perfection

This property was perfect for our young family. Right on the beach with all the necessities. Nothing fancy but we love that because it still gives the old Florida feel. The hammock and foot sprayers/outdoor showers were a plus. Happy to see the area recovering after hurricanes.

Excellent!

The property is super clean and well-kept. We loved being just steps from the beach. We were able to find hundreds of little shark teeth just by walking up and down the beach. The view is gorgeous! This rental is not only clean, but it’s very comfortable. This was one of our most enjoyable stays. Karen and Troy were quick to respond to our messages and they kept us well informed. We highly recommend!

More than just a place to sleep

My husband, our son and I spent this past weekend in Casa Cay. We couldn’t have found a better place to stay. It was a very comfortable and clean studio. We will definitely go back.

Great cozy place on the beach!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Cay. The apartment was just the right size for our little family. Very neatly decorated and well furnished. The view from the balcony was beautiful. We enjoyed having our morning coffee and evening beverages there each day. We look forward to coming back many more times in the future.

Perfect place for 2!

We had a very nice stay at Casa Cay (#2). Beautiful view of the golf, with quick easy access to the beach! The kitchen worked well for us to make breakfast in the morning, the beds were comfortable, as was the living area. We didn't spend much time there as we were visiting elderly parents, but it was a great "getaway" before and after daily visits. The *only* reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars, is that the windows are very thin, and we had neighbors below who were loud talkers and sat out side every morning. and there was road noise. It just took some getting used to, since we live on a cul-de-sac at home.

Could have been better…

Location was great and the unit was clean. We had a few issues: 1) bathroom has moisture issues with mold on ceiling. There is no exhaust fan and a quick shower will leave condensation on the ceiling. This must be a known issue as they have a box of damp rid on the shelf in the bathroom. My wife had allergic symptoms the whole weekend when normally she does not. 2) small sugar ants in the unit - noticed ant trap on floor in kitchen and observed ants in bedroom on nightstands. 3) was told the TV was a smart TV and it was not. Had to buy a Roku Stick from Walmart the first night to be able to watch the shows we like. I could have brought one from home had I known that the TV couldn’t stream and it wouldn’t have been a issue. 4) Smoke detector has bad battery and awakened us the first night. 5) Messaged the property manager about these items the first night and they never responded the 3 nights we were there. Could have easily been a 5 star review if issues were addressed either before or during our stay. We would not stay here again.

Location Yes!

This quaint studio was perfect for our family of three. I'd say a family of four could comfortably enjoy this location. We loved how close it was to the beach. Literally a 30 second walk down a well manicured path. The private beach was gorgeous. The location to restaurants and shops was great too. There was a concession stand on the beach just a few minutes walk. The North Jetty was super close too. A ten minute drive got us to Venice with shops and restaurants galore! We enjoyed Sweet Melissa's Ice Cream just a couple minutes away. And the view from the porch was impeccable. Coffee, palm trees, and dolphins each morning. The room was very clean, well decorated, and comfortable. Dishes, towels, and bedding were all supplied. The only thing that could have made our stay any better would have beach chairs to relax on the gorgeous beach with, but that didn't hinder our short stay at all. We would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing Getaway

The online process of booking was easy and the owners worked to help us with rebooking twice because of hurricane Ian. The location is about a half hour from Bradenton Airport and is perfect for day trips to Siesta Key. Pop's Sunset Grill is a short walk around the corner! If you like to take a morning stroll with your coffee on a beautiful beach, this is the place for you. From our second floor unit we had a nice view of the ocean. The unit was very clean and perfect for what we needed. There's even an available washer dryer on the first level. We would definitely stay here again!
