Gran condominio para su familia! Cerca de 5 minutos a pie de la playa

Nuestro condominio es excelente para nuestra familia y también lo será para los suyos. Es un condominio de dos habitaciones en baño. Hay una piscina justo al lado de nuestra unidad y el acceso a la playa está a 5 minutos a pie. Para aquellos de ustedes que están familiarizados con Hilton Head, está directamente detrás del Marriott Grand Ocean en South Forest Beach Drive. Hay una cocina completa con encimeras de granito y todos los electrodomésticos nuevos. Hay tres televisores de pantalla plana. Uno en la sala familiar y uno en cada habitación. También tenemos un condominio más pequeño en Seaside, que es de un dormitorio y frente al mar. Compramos este condominio para acomodar a toda la familia.

Quiet location

We stayed the week before Memorial Day and this location was great! Close to the beach but set a bit off South Forest Beach Drive. The pool was a nice change from the beach in the afternoons once we had come back for lunch. The kitchen and living room were comfortable and had a good amount of space. The master bedroom was a bit small, so we used the other room as a "closet". Fans in the bedrooms and an exhaust fan in the bathroom would be nice (not sure if that's possible). Thanks for letting us stay! We enjoyed our getaway!

The owner of the property gets back w you right away which is nice! We enjoyed our stay!!

South Forest Beach rental

Had a great time in this rental. Good location with an easy walk to the beach. Owner had everything we needed and the beds were super comfortable. I would easily recommend this as an excellent place to stay.

Short walk to the beach

Relaxing stay at this condo on South Forest Beach. It was a short walk to the beach. Really enjoyed renting a bicycle and biking all over Hilton Head Island.

A Great Week at The Dunes and South Forest Beach

We were pleased with the location, which is only a short walk to what we found at the time to be a quiet section of South Forest Beach. We always enjoy walking once we're settled in, so we made the trip by foot from the condo to Coligny Plaza several times--about a ten-minute and quite pleasant stroll in late afternoons and early evenings. The Dunes community pool is only feet away from the condo. The condo was clean, fresh, and easily accessible. The owners thought of everything their guests might have needed for a hassle-free stay. The brand new, high-quality washer/dryer was perfect for us as we tend to pack light for long trips. The condo complex was quiet, safe, and tucked away conveniently from the summertime high-traffic areas. The beds made for a week's worth of good night's sleep, and all furniture was comfy, which helped us feel as if we were not trapped in a typical cramped, multistory space but free to enjoy the roominess of the front TV setting or to find a quiet reading nook in one of the two spacious bedrooms. The owners are very nice people who went out of their way to accommodate VRBO first-timers. We had several questions on day one, and our questions were answered promptly and most courteously. All in all, we couldn't have been happier with everything--our first VRBO experience, the condo owners, and the condo itself. We are already considering a two-week stay here if available next summer. Thank you, Nancy and Shawn, for a great week at your place, and for such terrific Southern hospitality.

OK condo, mediocre management

I would have likely given this property 3 stars. It is, as described, close to the beach, Coligny circle, etc. While the pool is a bit dilapidated and the condo is fine, there is nothing luxurious or amazing about it. It was clean and had adequate kitchen utensils; it appears that the owners recently put in a washer/dryer unit. However, I noticed upon cooking our first meal that there was glass in the garbage disposal from a previous tenant. I promptly notified the owner and mentioned that it didn’t need to be fixed on our account, as we were only there for the weekend. After I left, I received a message that she was holding our deposit as she blamed us for the broken glass. I don’t blame her for trying to get money for what is obviously an expensive fix. I do take issue with the fact that I exercised due diligence in contacting her, alerting her to issues that happened before our arrival and am still being charged. She says there are instructions to report damages - they’re aren’t. I’ve waited 24 hours to write this review in an effort to reach an agreement with the owner to no avail. So, buyer beware. There are plenty of properties in HH (including in this complex) and I would recommend saving yourself the hassle and booking elsewhere.

Clean, comfortable, and in a good location

We enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, and had plenty of helpful things to make our stay comfortable. The location to the beach was not far at all, we rented some bikes even though it wasn't too far. The owner was helpful with any questions I had during my stay.

Great Condo for a Family Stay!

This is our 4th visit to HHI and so far this has been our favorite condo. We are a family a four with school aged children. The second bedroom with twin beds was perfect. The only downfall was no washer and dryer but it came fully stocked with tons of bath towels so we didn’t even miss it! This condo is within walking distance to the Alder Beach access which is our preferred beach as Coligny is way too busy. Condo came with a beach cart which has seem some better days but it did the job each day!! We loved having a ground floor with a front patio vs a balcony and it is plenty big enough to hold 4 bikes. The location is also great as it’s right next to the pool which our kids loved. Another nice feature is the keyless front door, not having to carry a key was great, one less thing to have to worry about with bike rides and beach trips. This condo location is also great for bike rides, we rode to Coligny Plaza every evening for dinner or ice cream and a little shopping! One small thing that could use improving is to have a little more of the basics stocked such as toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher tablets. As a family of four we went through the provided few very quickly and had to purchase our own. Also, a laundry basket in each of the rooms would be a nice addition to help minimize clutter of dirty clothes. Not that big of a deal to us, but just a suggestion for future guest stays! Overall we were extremely happy with our stay, this condo was very clean, great location and we would definitely rent again.

Just steps from the beach

This was such a nice little place to stay and was just a 5 min walk to the beach. I hate dealing with big crowds when on vacation so this spot was perfect as it was far enough from the main pier but close enough that you could walk down if you wanted to be in the action. The pool is also literally right next to the apartment. We did have a toddler with us so that was a little hard since it was not child proofed but that was to be expected and we were at the beach every change we got. We loved it so much we didn't even go anywhere else while on our vacation. A fully furnished kitchen made it ideal to just cook all our meals there. I would definitely stay there again!

Cozy and convenient

This ground-floor condo is conveniently located within a five-minute walk to a public beach access, making it very easy to walk back and forth during the day whenever you need a break from the sun. It offers much more privacy than the beachfront hotels, which can be crowded on in-demand weeks (spring break, summer, etc.) The condo's living room and kitchen are outfitted with comfortable furniture, a decent-sized TV and all the kitchen tools you'll need to cook meals. The two bedrooms could use a modest upgrade in mattresses, but no one had a hard time sleeping after a full day of biking and going to the beach. This condo is very well maintained, with all the home comforts you need. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced vacation condo within walking distance of the beach.

Hi we purchased this condo because our boys are growing up and needed a larger place. We also own a one bedroom ocean front condo that sleeps 4 (bunkbeds in the hall) right on the ocean at Seaside. My family spends nearly 2 months out of the year here and are looking forward to making this condo our permanent home.

This condo is absolutely perfect. It is an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. The beach access has bathrooms and is on the Seapines side of the Grand Ocean.
