The pics online do not accurately reflect this unit. It is a lot smaller that it looks in the pics. A/C is noisy and doesn't work in the upstairs bedrooms, neither do the ceiling fans. Lights for cooking on the bottom of the microwave do not work. Shower drain is mostly clogged and the shower heads flow very slow. We have stayed at other properties and never had these issues and this is why we left a day early. The worst part was the water quality. It smells of sulfur and is not useable for drinking or cooking. Overall very disappointed with this property.

Adequate

We wanted a property on the beach and this one was. It is on a very busy street and you have to walk around the building to get to the beach. There is not a proper walk way and there is a steep drop off from the dunes to the beach. My family is all in pretty good shape, but we all had a hard time getting on and off the beach. To wash off to get inside there is a faucet that shoots water out like a fire hydrant - not exaggerating, the water shot about 15 to 20 ft. That makes it very hard to wash your feet. The unit is in an older building that is partially renovated. The bathroom upstairs is very nice, except for the barn doors that don't close. The kitchen appliances are all old, but function except for the dishwasher. I am pretty sure the dishwasher only wets the dishes. There were multiple dishes that were in the cabinets that were wet and dirty. The floors upstairs were very creaky and so I woke up my infant son every time I went into the room we shared to go to sleep. The place was fine, but I won't stay there again.

Great beach getaway

The condo was beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and was close to some great restaurants. My daughter and I had a great time at the beach.

Nice, but not worth the price

This was a nice stay, but definitely not worth the 1700 we paid for 4 nights. The kitchen was not appropriately stocked with kitchen/cooking utensils. There were pots and baking pans, but no skillet for the stove top. So we went and bought our own skillet from Walmart so we could cook ourselves breakfast (bacon, eggs, etc). Then we realized there also was no spatulas or tongs…. Or pot holders to get things out of the oven with. Maybe at some point, the kitchen was stocked with these items, and a guest walked off with them…but just a heads up, if you like to cook some for yourself while on vacation, maybe bring some of your own cooking utensils! The biggest issue we had was with the patio furniture; it absolutely is not what the pictures perceive it to be. We rented this condo because it was beach front and had a patio…we were excited to sit on the patio and enjoy the views. However, the patio furniture is so incredibly rusted, that it is literally falling apart. There was so much rust, we didn’t even feel comfortable using the furniture. Metal probably isn’t the best kind of furniture for a patio that is not covered. It was a very clean place, and the aesthetic was nice, but overall, definitely not worth the money!

Great customer service. King bed was uncomfortable so we moved to Queen bed in second bedroom, much better. We had the “Jack and Jill” bathrooms. We were not a fan but all nice enough. Nicely stocked

Wonderful

Multiple steps to go up so may be hard if too young or too old, but it was perfect for me and my fam! Kids loved their room and it was spacious with adjoining bathroom. Beautiful view of ocean out back deck. Easy access to what seemed like our own beach! We enjoyed “riding the waves” and walking the beach every evening! Decor of condo was perfect! Only thing missing was coffee and maybe a few folding beach chairs.

Tybee island

Was a nice condo but is not ideal for seniors was on the second level and the stairs where steep, the bedroom also had stairs which my friend had hip problems and it made it difficult for her. In our rules it informed us that roaches could be a problem in the south there was a dead roach on the dining room floor, didn’t report this but they had the exterminator come and spray without informing us that he was coming.

Location is perfection. Unit needs a little TLC, but not so much that I would not love to return. Steps to second floor condo a little precarious, but in no way a deal breaker. Loved the Jack and Jill bathroom setup. A little box contained small essentials like dish soap, sponge, washer pod. Nice touch! Did I say the location is perfection?

Great location. A few issues with the property, Dimmer switch in dining room was shorting out and could not be used. The bedroom window was hard to open and close due to rust build up. We feel the unit could have been a lot cleaner than what it was when we arrived. Also the patio table was so rusty that it was flaking off onto our deck. Minor issues but would recommend this property. Thanks

Delightful, peaceful beachside visit

The unit was right on the beach, with no road crossings between us and the Atlantic. The property manager was prompt, check-in was a breeze, and the house was well-appointed and clean. We'll definitely consider this place again for our next visit!

Beautiful views

Very clean, nicely decorated, and you could not get any closer to the ocean. Woke up in the comfy king bed to an ocean view. Check in was easy and the office ladies were kind and helpful. I would stay here again and highly recommend!

Just as expected

We had a relaxing time at the condo. Exactly as pictures showed, peaceful days watching dolphins in the mornings and freighters throughout the day. The host and Tybee Island Rentals are very attentive to the few glitches we had. If we go back to Tybee Island, we'll be sure try and book the condo again!
