Escápese a este nuevo y moderno oasis. Situado en el río Muskoka, está a un corto paseo en bote hasta Mary Lake o tome las esclusas hacia Huntsville. A minutos del centro de Huntsville, que cuenta con excelentes tiendas y restaurantes. En el verano, tome el sol en su muelle privado con un lugar para su barco. Situado en el río, el agua es tranquila y clara para nadar. En invierno, disfrute del esquí en Hidden Valley o de todas las actividades de invierno en el Parque Provincial Arrowhead.

A true hidden gem. Our weekend away was perfect in every way – remote, peaceful, and beautiful snowy views. It was instant relaxation. From the tiny fireplace that heated the cabin, the Edison lights that line your walk up to the Aux Box, built in Bluetooth speaker to our own outdoor spa (loved the cold plunge after a hot sauna) our few days up north were just what we needed. We brought all our food with us (even the BBQ was top notch) and never left this piece of paradise. Thank you Garth and Rebecca your place was the perfect escape, and we can’t wait to come back!

We had the most magical getaway at the Aux Box! Tucked away in nature, this modern, minimalist retreat was the perfect blend of luxury and tranquility. The design of the Aux Box is stunning—sleek, cozy, and so thoughtfully laid out. Waking up to the view of the forest through the floor-to-ceiling windows felt like a dream.The space was impeccably clean, and every little detail was taken care of—from a well-stocked kitchenette to soft linens and a super comfortable bed. We especially loved the outdoor deck, where we enjoyed our morning coffee with nothing but birdsong and fresh air all around.Our hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, making check-in seamless and ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.If you're looking for a peaceful, romantic escape or just need to recharge surrounded by nature, this Aux Box is a hidden gem. We’re already dreaming about our next visit!

Our own private spa resort

We had a wonderful relaxing time, the hot tub was hot, the place was clean, the outdoor shower hot. Took a little drive to Arrowhead Park and did a bit of a hike. Beautiful area, and so close to Huntsville with everything you need!

Cozy Getaway

My partner and I had a lovely stay here. The cabin is incredibly clean and cozy, with all the essentials for an elevated camping trip. Lots of great hiking trails nearby and the location is nicely secluded. We did experience issues with the incinerating toilet, which would not incinerate the waste. Garth and one of the property managers, Terry, were very responsive and made sure to try and resolve the problem with as little distrubance as possible. We appreciated the mindfulness and how accommodating they were. We're very sorry you had to deal with cleaning that out! Regardless, we loved our stay here and would definitely come back again.

Uncomplicated Bliss

This clean, modern and cozy cabin nestled in the trees on its own ridge provided my wife and I a uniquely relaxing experience. We were able to unplug for a few days and just enjoy each others company without distraction in a beautiful setting. We would certainly book again and will recommend to our friends looking to reconnect with their partners.

Really a home away

The place is extraordinary. The Aux box is really well thought out. Everything is suited for a wonderful stay there. From exterior and interior design to tidiness to sense of coziness to the beautiful nature surrounding it. We really enjoyed our experience and would definitely go back some time again.

Family Girls Weekend

We stayed at the Wolegib property. Due to a glitch with the VRBO system the add is not displayed properly. Rebecca was great in communizing with us and ensuring we had all the appropriate information. The property is stunning and well maintained. The floor to ceiling windows over looking the water were our favourite party! We throughly enjoyed our stay!

Amazing Place!!

This cottage is mind blowing! We stayed at the cottage for 2 nights and 3 days. Super easy to check in and the owners were always available to answer my questions. The place it self is extremely beautiful, with an awesome hot tube outside and also a bonfire place. I love the modern design and how they have set up the place. We really enjoyed the out door shower as well! It was amazing connecting with ourselves and nature! I do also want to appreciate how the owners are taking care of the wild life and nature and all the hygiene products are environmental friendly! Double thumbs up on this!! The cottage is 8-10 mins drive from the Huntsville downtown, and on our way we spotted a lot of wild life like deers and wild turkeys. The property itself has so many different mushrooms growing in the forest patch it’s built upon. If you’re a mushroom hunter this is a perfect place! The cottage also consists of some books if you want to read and some games if you have time to play. Over all an amazing experience I would definitely recommend! Thank you Garth and Rebecca!

Beautiful cottage with amazing surroundings

We shared the cottage with another family. It’s in a great location close to where we went Nordic skiing at Arrowhead Provincial Park. From the moment you drive up to the cottage you realize that you made a good choice. It’s beautiful and the surroundings are amazing. The kitchen is well equipped. The open concept living area is perfect for sharing, dining and lounging. The host is very responsive and accommodating. You really look forward to coming back after a day of skiing. One caveat is that in icy winter conditions, you’ll need winter tires and all wheel drive to access the property. Garth mentioned this when we booked. We will definitely stay again!

Family get away

Great for older parents/grandparents as all on one floor and flat pathway to the water. Beautiful location with the town being very close by with everything you could need. The house is well designed with enormous windows and so quiet. The owner was great and very helpful and responsive

Hi! My name is Garth! I was born and raised in P.E.I and my wife Rebecca was raised on Vancouver Island. Our love for the water has inspired us to find a waterfront getaway. Several years ago we bought this property in Huntsville and quickly fell in love with the town and the water. At the time we had just a small cabin in place for accommodation. We have now built this modern retreat to better enjoy our stay and to share the beauty of this place with others.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Wolegib retreat is brand new and very unique. We love Scandinavian design and have used that as our inspiration for this house. The front door is less than 100 ft from the water which has a large dock and calm waters for swimming. It is very private with no neighbors close by and conservation land across the way. We are also less than 10 min from downtown Huntsville where you can enjoy great restaurants and shops. In the winter there are also many activities including: Downhill Skiing, Snow shoeing, Cross country skiing, Hiking, Skating and more!

We have equipped the house with all the amenities you should require during your stay. We have 3 children of our own so the place is geared for families. We have an outdoor playground as well as a recreation room with toys, books and a ping pong table.
