Nuestra Lewes Beach House es una hermosa escapada en la primera ciudad del primer estado, Lewes, Delaware. Votado "mejores lugares para vacacionar 'en CNNMoney Magazine, Lewes, situada en la bahía de Delaware ofrece playas tranquilas, hermosas vistas al agua y una gran cantidad de excursiones de un día.

Nuestra casa de lujo, construido en 2003, se encuentra en la playa pública de Lewes y ofrece increíbles vistas de la bahía de Delaware. Mira el Lewes Ferry pasar a lo lejos, mientras disfruta de las tanto las puestas de sol y los amaneceres desde la cubierta de proa.

Nuestra casa de tres pisos es de 3200 metros cuadrados y con capacidad y múltiples familias con dos grandes master suites con vistas a la bahía, tres dormitorios adicionales - todos con acceso a una terraza exterior, una cocina moderna con encimeras de granito brasileño azules, cuatro completos y dos medio baños y una gran sala grande. Los visitantes encuentran la gran habitación para ser más impresionante, con cómodos asientos en sofás, suelos de madera de caoba deslumbrantes, un techo abovedado, chimenea de gas, una gran pantalla de TV / DVD / VCR, y, por supuesto, la espectacular vista del agua.

Family vacation

Amazing stay!!

Carrie and William were wonderful hosts and super responsive. You could not beat the location…we had several littles with us and the house had all the beach toys you could ever want and was right across the street from the beach, which made it super easy to post up for just a few hours and go back and forth between the house and the beach. Amazing deck views and loved how close it was to the DQ and historic Lewes!

This house was the total package. Right at the beach, with plenty of bikes, beach chairs, etc. walking distance to bars and shops. cool small town beach feel. the house was perfect. plenty of sleeping space and it is clean. the owner is great, and quite resposive. would highly recomend this lovely beach house.

The perfect stay

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful beach house in Lewes. It was the perfect getaway for our family with kids. The house is spacious, clean, and well-appointed with everything you could need. The proximity to the beach was fantastic, making it easy to enjoy the sand and surf every day. The kids loved the nearby beach and the family-friendly atmosphere of the area. There were plenty of activities to keep them entertained. The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches in the house, such as the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of beach gear and games. It truly felt like a home away from home. We would highly recommend this property to any family looking for a memorable beach vacation.

Location, Location, Location

Our family of 9 adults and 3 grandkids had a wonderful beach week at this lovely home across from Lewes beach. The home was immaculately clean, with modern bathrooms and kitchen. We loved that the main living and dinning areas were situated on the 3rd floor, allowing for maximum enjoyment of the beautiful views and seabreezes. The only drawback was the twin beds. We would have been more comfortable had there been doubles in all the bedrooms. However, the Bushes provide an amazing assortment of beach toys. There were kayaks, boogey boards, beach chairs, life-preservers,, etc. And we used them all on this quiet, family friendly beach! Indoors there were games and puzzles for kids and adults, wifi and cable TV. Our week was in the 90's, and the central air worked perfectly and we were grateful to have it. The elevator was especially helpful when unloading our gear and groceries. The town of Lewes is charming, with nice shops and restaurants, and is a pleasant walk. Just around the corner from the beach house are 2 ice cream shops which we patronized almost daily with the kids. We would definitely recommend this beautifully situated, large, well appointed home.

Beautiful September Get Away

A great location, kid friendly home, and a host that replied efficiently and quickly to all my crazy questions: Yes, blender, 2 coffee pots with filters, they had a fully stocked kitchen: plates, ninja blender, glasses, etc... The house interior are calming with soft yellows and blues. The furniture in the great room was comfortable.The layout of the house offered quiet time and time apart on separate porches then family time together in the great room. Our last day, a family with several children moved in next door, so you could hear them on the porches and an occasional speedster rolled through parking lot in the wee hours of the morning. Local golfing was fabulous and local restaurants all seem to offer carry out. Meals cooked in the place were just as enjoyable family style. I wished linens might have been a choice provided by a local company. My only question was why not have more screens on windows and doors to enjoy the afternoon bay breezes in Sept, Oct and Nov?

Beautiful location with everything you need for a beach holiday!!!

Lewe’s Beach won’t disappoint with this beautiful location with everything needed for a beach holiday. The home is located on the public beach in Lewe’s. Front of the home is the public parking, but the location was quiet and respectful. We were there for a week vacation right after Labor Day - a nice quiet week for a vacation. The home has so many positives. First, location location location. It is just a short walk to restaurants and downtown. The public beach in front of the home is well kept. Both garages were full of everything you need for the beach - chairs, beach toys, and even enough bicycles for an entire group. The elevator was a great bonus - helpful to carry luggage and groceries, plus helpful for those who have difficulty with stairs. Two master bedrooms and three rooms with twin beds. The beds, especially the twin beds were not comfortable and need to be replaced. Twin beds were in poor condition, and uncomfortable for sleeping. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook for a week. Living room area comfortable seating for large groups. Porches on both second and third floors. The owners were helpful in communicating any questions we had. Be prepared to bring your own bed lines, towels and paper products (including toilet paper) plus soap. Wonderful location for families. We were a group of 7 professional women who regularly travel together. We loved the home, though the only complaint was the twin beds that need to be replaced. Thanks to Bill and Carrie for a great week at your home in Lewe’s.

Lewes gem

The house was everything the description said it was especially the elevator to take all our stuff up. We had 3 little grandchildren under 5 years old and it was great to walk across the parking lot to get to the sand and water. A short walk to town of lewes to shop, the grandchildren loved the toy store. We had a great time visiting from Pennsylvania and would definitely love to rent this house again. The owners were great

Location location location!

We were a family of seven with young kids. This property is right across from the beach. Ideal if you do not want to make a big schlep in the car with all the gear and the kids. There are lots of beach chairs, bicycles, two kayaks, beach toys…… a garage full! The house is roomy with good community space and fabulous sunset views from the front balcony. As a bonus it is just steps away from the Dairy Queen which was a highlight for the kids. Apparently it is Delaware beach rental policy to request that renters bring their own linens. Of course we did not have linens for the size beds that were at the rental but we were able to borrow from friends:). We have rented a lot of VRBOs around the country and around the world and this was the first time we had to bring our own linens. Just a heads up for folks who may be traveling a good distance.

Great place to stay!

My 9 friends and I have been going on Girls weekend for almost 40 yrs.This is THE nicest place we have ever rented.The whole experience was great.The owners were great communicators,the house was clean and the location was superb!Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate and a Nor Easter blew in when we were there.But we still enjoyed ourselves and it was quite a sight to see Mother Nature’s force.Highly recommend this home for your next rental!Beautiful area!Lots to do too.

Great House

This house was perfect! It is beautiful. Right across from the beach. Short walk to restaurants/shops. Perfect for a large group as it is very spacious. Will definitely stay in this house again. Property owner was very helpful and fast at getting back to me with any questions I had. Book this house! You will not regret it.

Spacious and Close to the Beach!

The house is huge. Tons of beach toys and chairs to use. It's right next to the beach, and the beach is lovely. Not a ton of delivery options for food, but it's a short drive to pick up food. Several decks with great views. Everything was taken care of well ahead of time. Would stay again!

Perfect Family Beach House

This house is in the perfect location and has all the amenities needed for a great family beach trip. We had a lot of (surprisingly) bad weather, so enjoyed the full game closet and lots of cozy beds and couches. And when the weather improved, we enjoyed the fully stocked garage with bikes, boogie boards, and beach toys; made great use of the gas grill, and appreciated the brief walk to two ice cream places. The beach is wide and the water was great for kids. We would definitely return.

Lovely house, amazing view!

We rented the house for a Thanksgiving get away. The house was lovely and well appointed, and having the beach right in front of the house was amazing. We plan to come back in warmer weather!

Beautiful views.

Spacious house. Fantastic location. Bicycles galore and wonderful bike trail that goes into Cape Henlopen park with its dunes. Also two kayaks. We had some issues with a dirty upper oven, and grills that don’t work, but those were minor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! And were grateful for the elevator when moving in and checking out. (Indian restaurant nearby - Raas - was excellent.)

Amazing stay!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The house was very clean and it had all the essentials we needed e.g. pots, pans, plates, umbrellas, beach chairs, etc. The living area was nice and spacious for our three families with kids to relax and hang out. The location was great as well - right on the beach so super easy to go back and forth. We will definitely be booking this house again!
