Great location. Nice property. Check in was easy. Good communication with owner. Has everything you need. Pool in complex was very nice. A few good restaurants within walking distance. A bit of an ocean view. Beach nearby.

Fantastic location.Could have used additional pots in kitchen and a better safety child gate that worked reliably.Also wished the sink disposal worked.Bathroom grout was a bit stained.Overall we enjoyed the time we spent together and look forward to returning.

Beach bum filled days

Check in was extremely easy. Kitchen was clean and user friendly. If you are planning on cooking most of the time there are plenty of skillets, but not much of a variety of other pans. Keurig and coffee pot were great! Beds are a bit softer than we are used to but overall the place is very comfortable and inviting. Beautifully decorated. Beach is down the street and absolutely stunning. Torrey Pines is close for a hike which was amazing. We enjoyed our stay immensely and it was exactly what we needed.

Great Stay in a great location

House is located a couple of blocks from the beach, Torrey Pines Golf course and hiking trails, restaurants etc. House very clean, well stocked and everybody in our party of 4 adults and 4 kids had a great time!

Great place for vacation

Place was very comfortable for my family and our Boston Terrier. Beautiful view, walking distance to the beach. Groceries stores short drive and restaurants at walking distance also.

Long weekend in Del Mar

What a wonderful property. It's location was very convenient for us, as most of what we were doing was in northern San Diego. Great views from the deck looking over the green space of the Los Penasquitos Lagoon and ocean. I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful location

Great property in DelMar- very comfortable for 4 adult family- ran on the beach and played tennis on the property every day! Paul is a terrific host- made sure we had every thing we needed to enjoy our stay!

Nestled in a quiet community

Our family vacation to Del Mar was great in this condo. It was a quiet neighborhood with great amenities for a family with kids of all ages. Easy check in and out.

Great location in Del Mar

Roomy townhouse in a fantastic location. Close to town of Del Mar with many shopping and dining options. Walked to pizza restaurant, Mexican rest and coffee shop right in front of complex. Nice park with beautiful grounds to enjoy, pool and hot tub. Overall the townhouse could use some updates, esp adding air conditioning, but well worth the price rental. Love the area with Torrey Pines Reserve right across the highway for walking, beach and golfing.

Great location, unfortunate new view

This was a great place for us to use as a home base while doing the touristy things and going to family events in Solana Beach. The unit is clean. Getting into the unit was a breeze and it is in a great condo community. The pool was almost always empty or only a few people and nice and warm! The park and playground are perfect for kids. The beach is nearby, but not an easy walk to get there. You can also drive down and wait for a spot to open on the beach, or pay to park in the parking lot for Torrey Pines. The only real disappointment was that the view from the balcony has now been dramatically altered by new construction going up, limiting the view of the ocean and Torrey Pines. Not the fault of the owners, but we were surprised. Also, note that Google Maps does not accurately locate this property within the community. Follow the directions given when checking in. That said, I still would recommend it as a place for a family vacation!

She won her 1st race so everything else was secondary. Place comfortable - wish there were ceiling fans in the bedrooms as it was quite warm even with floor fans. Nice newer towels. Plenty of room. Carpet needs a good cleaning otherwise all good!

Great family spot for kids plus dog

Me and the family had a great time staying at this condo. There was so much to do in San Diego which is relatively close by. The condo had plenty of space for everyone. It had a nice kitchen, washer and dryer plus a community pool and hot tub which the family really enjoyed. As for Paul he was really easy to deal with and had everything ready for us before we got there. We will be staying here again when we come back.

Great location near beach with an extensive park

Could have had a few more personal amenities. However, within a reasonable walk of the Torrey Pines beach and has a 4 acre park on site. Good restaurants a short walk for Mexican and pizza. Pretty good value for the cost. The park and pool were the highlights, and ther is tennis on site. Great views and cool with ocean breezes and morning overcast.

Great place and an amazing location!

The house was perfect for our family of 6. It's very clean, comfortable, and well kept. The owner also made us feel very welcome with personal touches and great communication. The pools in the community were great but walking to the beach was even better! There were even beach toys and chairs for us which was great. Not sure when we will get to Del Mar again but this is at the top of our list for a future stay!

Fun near the ocean with great sunsets

As advertised, the property comfortably accommodated a three generation, six-person family visit. Grandkids could walk to the beach to use supplied boogies boards, while the older generation preferred the comfortably heated community pool and hot tub. It was easy to prepare and eat meals on the property, but there are also several restaurants within walking distance. We were able to enjoy various San Diego attractions such as teh USS Midway, baseball at Petco Park and the Zoo and museums at Balboa Park. We would be happy to come again in the future!

Great location and convenient

Our family of four spent a week at this very nice condo. The location is outstanding and the amenities of the pool, hot tub, tennis court and park work great with kids and to keep active. the grounds are clean and beautiful. The condo itself has some nice updates with a great layout; nice fireplace and balcony's with charming views. The kitchen could use a few more supplies like extra plates and cooking pans, pizza pan/cookie sheets, a few extra utensils, etc. We did ask for extra wash cloths and the owner was quick to respond and provide enough for our group. Iris restaurant nearby is wonderful - we enjoyed that very much.

Luxury? NO! Updated? NO! Bathrooms dirty-hair in shower drain, soap on shower door, hair and debris on floors. Living room furniture is dirty and in terrible shape. Downstairs 3 bedrooms and 2 baths has not been remodeled or updated since it was built in the 1970’s. Porcelain tile in shower has grout that is deteriorating. Furniture is shabby, mattress in the queen bed sagged towards the middle. Patio furniture had sagging seats, paint peeling off of it. Dining room chairs had no padding left on them and you sank into a hole. Kitchen: poorest furnishings I've ever seen: 3 teaspoons (place sleeps 8), no measuring cups or spoons, a few glass glasses but the rest of the drinking glasses were plastic. Fridge ice maker didn’t work. One tray for ice cubes. Toaster and disposal didn’t work- there was a note on the disp. switch that said not to use it. Owner didn’t bother to get it fixed after a previous guest put it in their review? Bathroom sinks had no way to close them. Kitchen sink didn’t drain properly and water backed up. Screens and windows filthy. No soap in showers. Owner hasn’t put any effort into keeping the property up. I would NOT GO BACK or recommend it. I’m not a snob but do expect things to be clean, in working order and not old, cheap, or disfunctional. Worst VRBO I’ve ever been to. If I had known I could show photos in my review, I would have taken many more. Pluses: location and complex amenities, but they don't make up for the townhome itself.
