Loved the house and location!

My family loved this property and enjoyed having the pool. The location is great and the caretakers were very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome stay!

Loved every bit of the house. Kids loved the pool after a long boat day, easy to get around. Would definitely recommend! We plan to come back!

Beautiful porches with a little peek at the water. Good location in between town and Tahiti Beach, make sure you get a golf cart. Wish List: a generator, access to the washer/dryer, no roosters crowing! I hadn’t been to Hope Town since pre-Dorian, so lots of changes, and lots of rebuilding going on. I would definitely come back to Liney’s Lookout!

Our Stay

ONLY issue was in the neighborhood……our cart was chased by an angry looking dog which caused us to our side of the loop and not the smoother road on the other side of the loop. This house is a perfect location, mid point between town and Seaspray marina, next door to Firefly and only 5 minutes to Abaco Inn. “Private” pool is nice if you ignore the security cameras on the outside of the house. The washer/dryer is a bit unreasonable at 75.00 for the day. We WILL stay there again.

Amazing Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved Liney's Lookout for our family of four. It was centrally located on the island so everything was just a short golf cart ride away. We used Sunset Exclusive dockage for our boat which was just a few minutes away and that worked out great. The pool was a nice feature to come home to after a long day on the boat but we also stayed home one windy day and were in and out of the pool all day. Perfect. The property is very private despite having homes next to it. All the appliances and cooking supplies were adequate and we used the grill quite a bit as well. The deck has sun in the morning and shade in the afternoon. I would definitely stay here again with my family of four.

Great house convenient to lots of things

We have a very large family and most were staying at a resort very close by but couldn’t accommodate us all so we booked Liney House for extra room. It was great. Convenient to beach, hopetown, stores, and local restaurants.

This house is a nice house, only recommenadation for house is to add generator.It would have been nice if the pool had been cleaned and serviced before our arrival because it took 3 days for the pool service company to come out.There are some wooden chairs that need sanding on the arm rest so a child does not get splinters.We look forward to our next trip in June. Wanted to mention a few things that need attention : TV gets no channels, not sure if the service was turned off, or if something was unplugged. No hot water in the guest bath sink. Shelving in the refrigerator needs repair, it makes it difficult to place things in there for fear they will collapse. Need more weight on the base of the outdoor umbrella, even a moderate breeze will tip it over if opened. There should be a mention of the surveillance cameras in the listing, in case someone has issue with their presence. None of these are deal breakers, just wanted to bring them to your attention.

Hi Ryan, Thank you for your review and for letting us know about each issue. Unfortunately cable is not hooked up to this property yet, it is a smart TV that you can stream or use Netflix or Hulu. We will have someone check the hot water in the guest bathroom and the shelving in the refrigerator. We have made a suggestion to the owner about the cameras to make sure they are turned off when guests arrive. We appreciate you bringing this all to our attention.

It is surprisingly well laid out for a small square footage. The space is very well utilized. Very large patios give lots of outdoors space to entertain. The location is great and it easy to get to the grocery , restaurants, bars and beaches. The property is very clean and well maintained. It was nice to see that there was an ample supply of the basics, soaps , toilet paper etc. The property manager is friendly , reliable and helpful. My wife and I have been to Hope Town for many years and it was nice to be back. We had a great time at Liney's Lookout.Thank You! Paul And Diane
