Since your stay, a lot has changed here — we’ve renovated areas, improved processes, and continue to focus on our guests’ well-being. We’re sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. Since your stay in early 2024, our property has gone through several important improvements. The backyard, which had been damaged due to a hurricane, has been fully renovated. We added fencing, updated the outdoor area, and included new furniture to create a more pleasant environment for our guests. Regarding the item found in the bed drawer and the cup with residue, we sincerely apologize — that specific drawer had not been opened or checked during the previous cleaning, and since then we’ve reinforced our inspection process. We understand that Sarasota’s subtropical climate can attract insects during certain times of the year. We provide repellent and have implemented additional pest control measures to minimize any inconvenience. Our listing clearly states that we are located near one of Sarasota’s busiest avenues, and the studio is located at the back of the main house, which helps reduce noise. Most of our guests feel comfortable, but we understand that sound sensitivity can vary from person to person. We’re glad to hear you appreciated the bathroom and the shower pressure. We are committed to providing a clean and welcoming space, and your feedback helped us make further improvements.
