Beautiful waterfront home conveniently located Mid Lake and just a minute from the Mink Creek boat ramp! Serene Lakeside Retreat offers guests 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a dock for your boat and both a sunroom and screened porch!

Youll enter the home and go left into the spacious living area with big screen TV and super comfortable couch and loveseat. Continuing toward the lake you'll have beautiful lake views in your spacious well equipped kitchen.

Off the kitchen is your sunroom and screened porch where you can relax andtake in the beautiful lake views. The laundry area and half bath are also just off the kitchen.

Your primary bedroom has a comfortable king bed, big screen TV and ample areas for your clothes and personal items. The En-Suite full bath includes a shower and jetted tub!

The second bedroom includes a king size bed and the third two twin beds. Both bedrooms have nice sized closets for clothes and personal items. The second full bath is located in the hallway between the second and third bedrooms.

We had an excellent stay at this property! The place was very clean and well taken care of, which made it feel comfortable right away. The beds were incredibly comfortable—we slept great every night.The location was perfect, especially if you enjoy fishing. It’s a fantastic fishing spot and made the trip even more enjoyable. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Loved the sunroom looking at the lake, so peaceful! The home has all your needs, just bring your clothes and food! The guys had a great fishing time, caught some big ones and some little ones! Close to all the shopping and restaurants.

Such a beautiful home on the lake, I rented the home for 3 nights for a guys fishing getaway, the dock was awesome for tying up our 2 boats, we caught some nice bass and enjoyed relaxing when the lake got to hot during the day. We will definitely be back again soon as possible. Thank You

Everything was good except the driveway needs bushes cut back. With boat and trailer, it was not possible to back all the way down without hitting landscaping. The house was clean and had everything but regular coffee pot. We did enjoy our stay.

Driveway is on a steep hill, a little tricky to maneuver with a trailer. We have a large truck so that added to getting in and out but does work, just be careful. Plenty of room to park the boat trailer on the property. We launched the boat at the ramp near by the house and we were able to keep the boat tied up and the homes pier. It was wonderful not having to launch the boat and load the boat every day. You won't be disappointed in this property. The Hosts are Great! We had a wonderful stay with everything you need, just bring your clothes and a grocery store is just down the road in Scottsburg. Good restaurants close by. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

What a wonderful property! We were looking for a pet-friendly property where we could cook a Thanksgiving meal and enjoy amazing porches and outdoor spaces with our grown kids and their pups. This homey lake house more than met our needs. The kitchen was amazingly well equipped (Pastry blender? Lime squeezer? Cookie sheets and pie pans? Yes, yes, and yes...plus loads more!) The views of the lake from the boathouse dock and the glass-enclosed sunroom were just breathtaking. We really appreciated the plentiful, comfortable seating for our group to enjoy football on Iron Bowl weekend. Our trip to nearby Cathedral Caverns was a wonderful family activity and got us some steps after a day of feasting, lol. David and Edna were exceptionally thoughtful and responsive hosts. We can highly recommend this wonderful lake house for family fun. We hope to have the opportunity to return in the future!

Perfect location. Great communication from David the host. Our family stayed for a week and never needed anything that wasn’t provided. Tons of cooking stuff indoor and outdoor. The lake views were beautiful from the glassed in back porch. Boat ramp just around the corner. I left my truck and boat trailer at the public ramp all week due to the driveway not ideal for trailers. Will definitely book again. Thanks

D&E Landing Vacation Rentals, LLC is named after us, David and Edna. The name came to Edna literally as we were signing the documents to purchase the property.

Edna's a native Alabamian who grew up in Phenix City. David grew up outside of Boston but found his way to Alabama in the middle 80's. We fell in love with Northeast Alabama after spending 4 years outside of Gadsden before moving to Memphis, TN for 20 years.

Lake Guntersville called to us in the spring of 2013 and we decided it was time to go home permanently! We are, like many couples in Alabama, a house divided. Edna's the Alabama football fan and David's the Auburn fan. Iron bowl Saturdays are always interesting around our house!

David hunts and fishes the area and is always happy to help with any information you need. Edna's a shopper, and will guide you to every place within 60 miles to get a bargain on almost anything! Between us we've got you covered.

We both love to meet people, make new friends and serve our guests. We believe in delivering the maximum value for your dollar and will do whatever it takes to ensure you have a fantastic time at Lake Guntersville and in the Northeast Alabama area!

Serene Lakeside Retreat is a waterfront home located mid-lake making it an easy drive to most of the boat ramps on the lake. If you're not a fisherman, you'll only have a short drive to Guntersville, Scottsboro or Huntsville. There you'll find plenty of activities to choose from including:
