The second you walk into Casa Terra, you will feel like you have arrived home. Our new, bright, stylish and unique design of the house, is minimalized in size and maximized in comfort. Every inch of the property is comfortable and the perfect space to recharge your batteries.

Each of our two bedrooms have a top of the line Queen Size bed & mattress, ensuite bathroom, ceiling fan & powerful AC's that will cool you off for an evening of complete sleep. We do have an extra single mattress available upon advanced request.

Our bright, fully stocked, open layout kitchen allows you to feel immersed in the social setting at all times and the large kitchen island has seating for four.

Our kitchen features a dedicated counter faucet with filtered water, dishwasher, full size stainless steel fridge, with an ice-maker & cold filtered water, large electric stove top with oven, microwave, double sided toaster, blender and coffee maker for the best Costa Rican morning coffee on the deck!

The living room has a plush couch for reading, napping or just sitting around and socializing. The most attractive feature of the space are the large glass doors that allow you to enjoy a full view of the natural surroundings.

The back patio, is tastefully decorated, featuring a dining room table for outdoor dining, and a very comfortable patio lounge set. This space looks onto the natural green and lush forest of Playa Grande, where you will see Howler Monkeys, Iguanas, a variety of Tropical Birds and more!

Our property is private, fully fenced in, with parking for two vehicles, and a lovely outdoor shower to rinse off when you get back from the beach or from exploring.

We are central to about ten different restaurants, coffee shops & the main attraction, the SURF!

In discussing the neighborhood, most coastal towns in our region are experiencing a boom in development and with that, comes development and noise. We want to be totally up front that there could be some construction noise, as our neighbour on one side has started building a home as of September 2024 with completion on track to be done October 2025. We understand that this could cause some disruption of your experience and stay, so we want to ensure that you know our pricing is reflective of this current situation. Some specific details that may differ to what you are used to on a construction site is that sometimes the work can start earlier due to how hot it is in Costa Rica, so getting to it earlier is usually better. This isn't a daily thing but it can happen. Another, is that some builders allow their workers to stay onsite and this is the case with our neighbors. Although our backyard & exterior lounging areas are private, and fenced, it's worth mentioning in case this may be an issue for some. We have stayed there ourselves, and it hasn't taken away from the experience and enjoyment of the property.

Playa Grande has some of the most consistent, and best surf in the area. If you are not a surfer, no worries, plenty of swimming and beach going to be had!
Also, a Playa Grande Must, is enjoying the most beautiful beach sunsets every evening... conveniently, just a short walk away.
