Aislamiento boscoso, acceso rápido a caminatas altamente aclamadas y al club.

Perfectamente escondido en la reclusión boscosa del lago Toxaway, Seminole Cottage ofrece a sus huéspedes un estilo de vida de montaña tranquilo para recargarse del estrés de la vida. Dormir seis, este tres dormitorios, tres y medio baño tiene una variedad de opciones para dormir, desde la cama king-size del dormitorio principal, a la reina del dormitorio adicional y nido doble. Algunas habitaciones tienen acceso a baños privados.

La sala de estar se completa con ventanas del piso al techo, así como una chimenea apilada de piedra y televisión con satélite para completar con un ambiente acogedor. La cocina está totalmente equipada con electrodomésticos grandes y pequeños, lo que facilita la tarea de cocinar y preparar refrigerios. It’s a quick walk to the lake and country club for beautiful views and tons of amenities! We also took a quick day trip into Cashiers. The kitchen is fully stocked and beds are very comfortable. It was the perfect getaway spot. We just wish we could have stayed longer!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our guests were to take possession at 4:00pm on 6/4. At 3:05pm, I received a call that the cleaning crew had just arrived and the facilities would not be ready until about 6. This was unacceptable since our guests had driven from Florida and we had a 6:00pm dinner reservation. We negotiated for 5:00pm and arrived at 5:05 and the cleaning crew and their vehicles were still there. This added to our frustration due to the lack of adequate parking and maneuvering room. We have had a home at Toxaway since 1988 and this was not a good introduction to our first Lake Toxaway rental and would probably be hesitant to do so in the future.

This particular one had beautiful natural landscaping with a sweet creek & tiny pool of water. The master bedroom is large and so is the bathroom. Nice deck area. Small kitchen but we weren't cooking much so it didn't matter!

Great mountain getaway

Summer escape to cooler weather

Our week at Lake Toxaway was wonderful staying at this cabin tucked in the woods. The kitchen was well-appointed, the gas grill was excellent and the property was very well kept and clean. We played tennis, enjoyed the pool at the CC, went for a boat excursion, and enjoy several nearby hikes. My only regret is not getting a better map before we headed into town, cell reception for us was spotty so we had lots of u-turns. We will return next summer! Thank you.

Magical Weekend in Lake Toxaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 4+dog had a wonderful long weekend at Seminole Cottage! The property description was accurate and a short walk to the Greystone Inn. The cottage is spacious and cozy and beds are comfortable. We enjoyed canoe/kayak/fishing in the lake, waterfall hikes nearby at Toxaway River Trail (prepare to cross creeks and get wet!) and Schoolhouse Falls. Dinner outside at the Greystone Inn along with a few happy hours by the lake was just what we needed. The house doesn't really have views, but it's a short walk to the lake. We also enjoyed day trips to Brevard and Cashiers. Picked up dinner one evening from Villa Amato (Italian) nearby. Ask for Christian at the Greystone Inn for the best recs for activities and dining choices. The kitchen setup was perfect for breakfast. The only TV that works was in the main living room. We do wish the TV's in the bedrooms worked. Also, the filtered water on the Fridge was not working. We highly recommend this cottage and will be back! Thanks

GREAT VACATION RENTAL!!

This was a perfect house! Great outdoor patio- kitchen comfy everything! The folks managing Rachel & David were wonderful - so helpful! It is not the MOST secluded place but wow! Perfectly supplied with everything you could need. The only thing I would have changed was we should have planned on staying longer!

Seminole way

Interior of property was clean and neat. The living room furniture and king mattress is worn and needs to be replaced. Kitchen is stocked well with working appliances and basic items. It was nice to have an ice maker. No firewood for fireplace provided. Exterior was overgrown and rock stepping stones not suitable for those with walking issues. Hand rail is loose. Outside views were TERRIBLE with another home and AC unit right behind the open porch (no screen)! Do not rent if you want views! Rent if you need a basic place to stay.
