Ubicación: BEECH MOUNTAIN, NC. Cerca de Blue Ridge Parkway, Banner Elk, Sugar Mt., Grandfather Mountain, Linville, Boone y Blowing Rock, Carolina del Norte.

Beech Mountain - ¡La ciudad más alta (5500 pies) al este del Mississippi! Nuestra casa tiene excelentes vistas de las pistas de esquí en invierno y preciosas vistas al jardín y la montaña en verano. Acceso a Beech Mountain Country Club está disponible. Estacionamiento nivelado (no hay camino empinado aquí!) y a solo unos pasos de la puerta principal.

Nuestra casa ofrece aire acondicionado centralizado y calefacción, WIFI, televisores de pantalla plana ROKU 4k, muebles de calidad y ropa de cama, y está totalmente equipada para su disfrute. Cuenta con catedral, techos con vigas, chimenea a gas de piedra con control remoto, barra húmeda y una gran terraza con parrilla de gas. Muchas ventanas y luz y luminosidad en todas partes.

Cada habitación tiene acceso a baño privado. En el dormitorio principal, hay un calentador de toallas, ¡nada como una buena toalla tibia cuando sales de la ducha! ¡También es útil para secar guantes, calcetines, etc.! ¡Te preguntarás cómo has vivido sin uno!

Ubicado en un pequeño círculo en el medio, con muy poco tráfico. Fácil, nivel (para Beech Mountain :)) acceso durante todo el año. NOTA: En invierno, la ciudad de Beech Mountain requiere neumáticos o cadenas para la nieve. Hay dos caminos a nuestra casa, por lo que el acceso nunca está limitado, ya que puede estar en otras áreas de Beech.

Firstly our host Ann and Steve were amazing. They were very accommodating and helpful. Every question was answered in a more than timely manner. They even gave us an early check in as we were driving and arrived early. The house was nestled in the Beech area just minutes from the ski resorts and mountain activities. Perfect location and easily accessible. The house had all the amenities of home and more. Would highly recommend booking .

We loved our month at Beech! The house was perfect - great view from the deck, comfortable beds and lovely linens. Kitchen was cozy - and was very well stocked. We really appreciated the gas grill and on a couple of chilly mornings, the gas fireplace inside. Location is perfect. It’s in a quiet street with friendly neighbors and lots of great walking and hikes close by. We spent hours on the deck and had many meals out there, so we could take in the great view of the ski slopes. We can’t wait to come back! And thank you to the owners, who were quick to answer questions and who were super accommodating.

The cottage was cozy and comfortable. It was clean, comfortable beds, nicely decorated and we had everything we needed for our stay. The deck was the best with beautiful views. We had visiting deer and enjoyed many birds. Since we were there over the 4th we were able to enjoy the fireworks. Ann Jara responded quickly to my questions and was easy to work with.We would definitely recommend the cottage and would stay again when we are in the area.

GREAT LOCATION!

We have been going to Beech Mountain in the winter for the past 38 years and it never disappoints. The cabin is in an excellent location halfway between Fred's and the slopes. You can see the slopes from the deck and we were able to see the New Year's fireworks!The cabin is cute and cozy, however, the pictures make it look larger than it actually is and the kitchen is very small with little storage. We had a little problem with the gas fireplace in that it shut off, however, upon contacting the owners, they promptly had some come and repair it.Overall, we had a wonderful time and my little grandsons had a blast!

Perfectly cozy mountain view cabin

Such a cute little place with awesome views of the mountains and slopes. Fireplace was awesome. Bedding was top notch. Everything worked like it should. The owners are great and very quick to respond to questions. They made an awesome binder full of all kinds of info related to the cabin and the surrounding areas. Things to do. Places to go. Something for all persons and interests. But sitting on the porch watching the deer feed in the yard and sitting by the fire was all we really needed. Will definitely stay here again.

MLK SKI Beech Weekend

We had a great time and the property was exactly what the picture showed. The owners were easy to get in touch with and responsive if I had any questions. Everything worked wonderfully in the house and we had no issues the entire weekend. I would highly recommend this place And would like to stay there again.

Amazing mountain cottage!!

My husband and I recently booked this property to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary. The cottage was immaculate and tastefully decorated. The bed was super comfortable and since it was unseasonably cold for our visit, the comforter was much appreciated. The views were absolutely amazing! We wish the weather allowed for us to spend more time out on the deck, but sitting next to the fire and looking out at the view was the next best thing. We found out new go to rental in the mountains! Loved it!

Nice views, close to the resort, fantastic host

Very cozy house, adequate for our family of 3 adults and 2 kids, ages 7 and 8. Nice views of the mountain, and easy drive to the slopes. The kitchen is small, but well equipped. We were very comfortable in our stay. The host is amazing: we left two boxes with toys in the house and he arranged for them to be brought to Charlotte, where our son will be able to retrieve them.

Beech Mountain “On the Rocks” was awesome!

Exactly what we were looking for with this mountain cabin! Very comfortable, clean, great views, well-appointed, and the owners were beyond accommodating - we would definitely come back to this one again! It was convenient to the ski lodge, restaurants, hiking trails and other recreational activities for the whole family. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing vacation destination!

Great Place to Visit Year-Around!

We had a great time staying at this wonderful cabin. Easy to get to the place; it's located very close to the skiing resort and nice dining places. The view from the back deck is simply beautiful. The cottage itself is very clean and cozy. Great thing about this place is that you can visit it all year, whether you like winter activities, hunting and fishing, or simply to get a nice quiet relaxing getaway. Communication with the owners was very easy. Responses were quick and detailed. There were absolutely no issues neither during the reservation nor during the stay. Highly recommend this beautiful cabin On The Rocks. Sincerely, Albina and Mike R.

The cabin is in a perfect location at Beech. Close to top of mountain and down the street from hiking trails. It was very clean and had comfortable furniture/beds. We had a great time!

Great views, comfortable and cozy

We enjoyed our stay. This is certainly an older property and has it's spots that need repair, but it worked for us. It was all on one level, limited steps to enter and the sitting area was nice, the bedrooms were clean and comfortable.

On the Rocks Get-a-way

We really enjoyed our stay at “On the Rocks” Cottage. It was extremely comfortable and has a very homey family feeling. It offers beautiful views from the deck, including Mountain View’s, wildlife, daily deer sightings and a range of birds. We enjoyed lighting the fireplace each evening and early mornings. The king bed was super comfortable and clean. The bathroom had plenty of nice towels and great water pressure in the shower! The only thing we were disappointed with was the cleanliness of the kitchen. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could imagine you may need, however, we felt it needed to be wiped down more thoroughly & more detail to the grime & greasy surfaces. We wouldn’t hesitate staying here again and also referring friends & family in the future.

When we first visited Beech Mountain 25 years ago on a ski trip, we fell in love with Beech. 15 years later we visited Beech to purchase a vacation home in the Mountains. When we visited 'On the Rocks' via internet, we knew this was going to be our Mountain Home. Named appropriately for the two large boulders in the front of the house, 'On the Rocks' has become much more than a home surrounded by rocks. This is a private home that we are excited to share with you. When you arrive and step into our home, you will feel at home yourself. We have made our cottage comfortable and warm. When we rent and stay in destinations, we expect special amenities and quality appointments which we have extended to you at 'On the Rocks'. Our children have grown up vacationing here in all the seasons and we hope you enjoy creating memories here as much as we have. We market the rentals ourselves and have a team of competent and local professionals to make sure the cottage is in great working order and extremely clean.
