Hillside Haus is a modern log cabin on 4 private wooded acres close to Catamount Mountain & Ski Butternut.

Enjoy soaring ceilings, a cozy fire pit, fenced yard, family-friendly amenities (including crib and high-chair), and fully stocked kitchen. Sleeps 6 comfortably, and includes an office space.

Perfect for year-round getaways—ski in winter, hike and picnic at nearby lakes and campgrounds in summer. Quick drive to charming and vibrant Great Barrington for shopping, art, and restaurants.

This is our home that we rent out occasionally. You will find everything you need to enjoy your stay stress-free!

INSIDE:

• 3 Bedrooms -- Two bedrooms on the main floor, one large primary suite upstairs with vaulted ceilings, walk-in closet, with adjustable desk for working. All bedding is 100% organic cotton and down alternative for sensitive guests. Crib is available in one of the bedrooms on the main floor.

• 2 Bathrooms: 2 full baths (one on main floor, one attached to primary), both renovated with double vanity sinks. 100% Turkish cotton bath and hand towels available for all. Includes shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Hairdryer available too.

• Kitchen: Fully stocked kitchen, with everything you need to cook and host. Cabinets are packed with pantry stapes, set of pots and pans, including coffee machine, french press, dutch oven, baking sheets, a crock pot, and a rice cooker. No need to buy condiments and cooking staples, as the kitchen has it all at your disposal!

• Dining: Dining table set for 6, with 2 extra chairs available, plus a Tripp Trapp high chair for littles and kid-friendly dinnerware.

• Living Area: Open floor plan living room with cathedral ceilings, large windows bringing in natural light, and a wood stove to cozy up to.

• Loft / Media / Sitting Area: Upstais is a loft area with comfortable couch to relax while watching your favorite shows or movies on a Frame TV.

• Mudroom: A large mudroom on main floor for storing gear, boots, coats, and ski gear.


OUTSIDE:

• Patio: Large patio with Weber electric grill, perfect for afternoon BBQs and entertaining.

• Fire pit with adirondack chairs to wind down in the evening, enjoy s'mores, and do some stargazing. Long roasting sticks available for roasting marshmallows and hotdogs!

• Fenced backyard, safe for children to run around and enjoy the fresh air.

• 4 acres of wooded area surrounding the house for privacy and exploration.
