The property was welcoming to pets with a large/fenced back yard. Unfortunately, the property had several items of concern. It was dark upon our arrival at 8:30pm and the front porch lighting, the entrance/living room lighting and the hall lighting did not work. Additionally, there was no TV remote for the living room TV, the kitchen faucet was broken and would not swivel from side to side and was not affixed to the counter. The sheets on the master bed did not fit and kept coming off in the night leaving us to sleep on the sticky plastic mattress wrapping. When my wife and 4 daughters got up and showered, there was no hair dryer even though the listing said one was provided so we had to go buy one. All of these concerns were made known to the owner via VRBO app and responses were very slow.I communicated with the owner upon arrival concerning the lighting, kitchen faucet, and remote. There was no response until the next morning. I also communicated about the hair dryer & sheets but no attempt was made while we were there to correct the issues before the 2nd night's sleep. The owner reimbursed for the hairdryer expense & credit 20/night because he said "the property remained fully habitable." I don't believe that is a fair compensation for the issues, so therefore, we will not choose to stay at that location again. I'm sure had the property been fully functional the stay would have been better.
