Esto es "Viejo de la Florida en su máxima expresión. Situado en 2. 3 hectáreas en el río St Johns en Colee Cove. La casa tiene capacidad para seis con un sofá cama en el salón.

08 2014, sólo compitió una importante renovación de la casa mediante la sustitución de todos los pisos con azulejo y madera dura.

Dos habitaciones cada una con baño propio, con baños y camas tamaño queen. Esta es la casa original en la propiedad que fue construida en 1948 y se mudó y remodelado en 2000.

Si tranquilo y quant es su objetivo, entonces lo has encontrado !! La casa tiene un porche con vistas al río y un porche que se encuentra bajo los robles.

Existen todas las comodidades de la casa. Cocina completa, TV por cable-HD, Wi-Fi, lavadora y secadora, Parrilla y fumador.

Usted tiene acceso completo a nuestro muelle que tiene acceso a aguas profundas a las 6 "y conexiones completas. El piso de arriba es un área de la pantalla cerrada que aumenta las puestas de sol más espectaculares.

Para el pescador, tenemos un entorno de pesca único con ambas especies dulce y salada. En el fresco de lado bajo bocazas, Bream y Espec. Sal-gallineta, platija, bajo despojado.

Ospreys, manatíes, águilas y caimanes son algunos de los muchos tipos diferentes de vida silvestre que se pueden observar en diferentes épocas del año.

Siempre les digo a nuestros clientes de que la casa se configura cómo me gustaría que si yo estaba de vacaciones. Limpias, cómodas camas, internet rápido, excelente cable, parrilla de carbón y todo lo que usted necesita en la cocina.

Another great stay

This was our second stay at this property and we love it. The cottage comes with everything needed for an extended, comfortable stay. The property owners are hospitable and available, yet give you privacy.

STUDY THE INFORMATION PROVIDED

Rented June 13th - June 18th, 2022 I read the wonderful reviews of this rental and I was totally taken with the view of the sunset, boat house, dock and Saint Johns River. I should have studied the information provided more thoroughly. I expected to see the river from the rental....I was wrong. You can't see the river unless you walk through the owner's yard around his house to see the river. This isn't a short walk. I had informed the owner that I was bringing two older ladies with me, both needing the use of canes. The 81 year old went up the back porch steps to open the door for me to bring in the baggage. Before I got to the porch steps, she had tripped on another small step at the back door. She hit hard on her right knee and hit the center of her chest against the arm of a wooden bench. This step was not marked at the time. I pulled a wood chair in front of the step to remind us to step down. Owner said it was marked in the past. He has caution tape on the step now. There is another smaller step inside the house that should be marked as well. The air conditioning is first class, some of the furniture should be replaced except for the beds, they were good. The house was clean with clean linens but expect this to be what it is, an old Florida home, complete with wood cabinets who's drawers resist opening and no dishwasher. It's quiet with lovely moss covered trees but the overhead fans on the front porch didn't work. The Florida heat was brutal as it should be in June but we were not expecting 100+ degree temperatures. We left early on June 16th to take my friend home due to her increasing chest pain. B Baker Georgia

Home under majestic oaks

This is a beautiful area on the St. Johns river. The guesthouse is clean, comfortable and quiet with a screened-in front porch and a back deck. Great area for dog walking and bird watching. I hope to return again.

As Advertised, Off the Beaten Path

A comfortable guest house with everything you would need for an extended stay. The hosts were welcoming, the neighborhood quiet, and the view was spectacular. We stayed for a month and would do it again.

Loved Our Cabin Under the Majestic Oaks

Perfect quiet spot! Enjoyed walking with our Golden Retriever every day as the neighborhood was safe and little traffic. Amy and Buddy (and Buddy’s parents) were the best! The cabin provided all our needs, short drive to Publix, about 1/2 hour to St. Augustine and beautiful parks that we discovered. Sitting - reading on the porch was a great escape from the snowy north and the property was picturesque. Was an absolutely wonderful month!

Comfortable, Quiet, Charming Vintage Florida Style Home!

We loved staying in this vacation home! There was plenty of room for our kids to run around and play outside! We had everything we needed in this home! The owners were so kind and generous! Our children enjoyed playing with their children. We would definitely love to stay here again! It was very quiet and charming. Private cottage in nice garden

This is a nice litte house in a lush garden close to water and with possibility to enjoy sunset on the Henley pier. Amy gave us a warm welcome and everything worked very well. The Internet quality was super och we will definitly come back, if we get to the area of St Augustine! Many thanks!

Relaxing home environment with amazing views.

We came across this home when we decided to visit our son and his family. Buddy was very helpful and worked with us through everything. When we arrived he greeted us and made us feel very welcome. The house is beautiful and the property is breathtaking. Sitting in the rocking chair on the screened in porch under the mossy oaks and listening to nature is exactly the environment needed. The sunsets from the dock porch area are the prettiest we have ever seen. We had all the comforts of home down to a pack and play for our granddaughter, toys and board games as well. We will definitely be back to stay every time we make the trip to visit our son and his family. They even found it so beautifully peaceful here that they wanted to stay with us. Thank you Buddy and Amy for extending your property to us to make this time with our family a cherished one we won’t forget!!

A hidden gem!!!

This property exceeded my expectations. Very cozy cabin feel set on a beautiful property. Had some of the best sleep in a long time, beds are super comfy. Having access to the dock was fantastic and the little structure set above the dock gave way to amazing views and breezes. Perfect setting for our family gathering with snacks and adult beverages. Thank you Amy and Buddy for your hospitality, looking forward to our next stay vacation.

Quiet, comfortable and peaceful

My family planned a vacation that fell through last minute. I found this property in St. Augustine and booked only 1 day before our arrival time. I am so grateful to the Henleys for letting us book, allowing us to still go on a family vacation. The house and property is beautiful. Quiet and peaceful- great place to come home and relax after visiting the busy city. Definitely recommend and would love to come again.

Beautiful views from dock

The property is stunning...with beautiful trees and bushes landscaped like a park on the river.

A charming and beautiful southern river home nestled in trees and shrubs. My husband and I and our two cats stayed here in Feb. and March. Inside is a great space with architectural interest and amenities designed for comfort while having a cottage feeling. Loved the screened and open porches. The river and dock were so cool...we fished and hung out over the water. The owners are great people who love this property, take good care of it, are responsive to guests, and friendly. The whole area is an adventure!! Spending time there is missed...now that we left this morning. Lots to do and see requiring a lot of driving, but staying around the beauty in Collee Cove was so worth it for us.

Relaxing start to our vacation. Hosts were outstanding.

This was the first of 4 places we stayed during the month of February. The house was spacious and well-stocked. There were only 2 of us so we didn’t even use part if it. It was very peaceful and quiet and the sunsets were beautiful. There was a place a few miles away that had a kayak launch and we found a few state parks 30-40 minutes away to have a picnic and hike. Our dog was quite comfortable, but we did keep her leashed outside since there was no fenced area. She did like being on the screened in porch, both on the dock and in the house, almost like being ouside. The neighborhood was good for riding our bikes, as well. The Henley family was very kind and made us feel at home when we used the dock in their backyard. We had a lovely week.

Great house and friendly owners

We Loved it!!!!The house has everything you need and is in great shape. Buddy was in contact whenever I had a question before we arrived, and although we didn’t get to meet him due to a late arrival and busy schedule the other part of our group said they were very friendly. It is just far enough out of st Augustine to have quiet, yet close enough to enjoy everything. I would recommend this to anyone staying.

The property is so incredibly beautiful.

Buddy and Amy are the ultimate hosts. Their place is turn key. All you need is a suitcase and plan on having fun. Close to slot of great entertsinment. Meg and I will certainly be back.

Southern hospitality

My family and I enjoyed our stay at The Henley's Guesthouse. Wonderful family that went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The grounds are amazing with the tall oaks. Everything is so well-maintained. It is a quiet area away from traffic. Driving to St. Augustine was not a problem as the roads are country roads until you reach the city limits. It is a great place to use as your base for exploring surrounding areas. Thank you for making us feel at home.

As 3rd generation Floridian, my family has own property in Colee Cove since 1946. We have lived next door for 15 years and as the family grew so did our need for a larger home.

In 2008 I obtained a Captains license and have preformed guided fishing trips on the St Johns river.

Our family respects, loves and uses the river at every possible opportunity.

Sunsets to the west are unbelievable. If you love to fish, then this is it! It is not every day that you can sit under 300 year old oak trees and be so close to the oldest city in America.
