This newly updated ocean-view beach cottage features 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, with sleeping accommodations including 1 king, 1 queen, 1 double, and 1 sofa sleeper (sleeps 6–7). The primary suite includes outdoor access, a flat-screen TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, while the second bedroom also offers outdoor access and a TV. The third bedroom includes a full bed; a shared full bath and half bath add convenience. The single-story 1,400 sq. ft. home offers a spacious layout, modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances, multiple living areas, and an expansive outdoor space with a patio, fire pit, lawn, and fruit trees. Amenities include Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, and parking for up to 4 vehicles. This dog-friendly home (STVR Permit #BLRE006060) is located in a quiet neighborhood and is best suited for quieter groups, with strict no-smoking and no-party policies enforced.

Great stay at this property in Carlsbad. 5 stars. Very clean and open floor plan. Perfect for a family with a dog. Great kitchen with big Island and everything you need for cooking nice dinners. Great communication from the property managers. Will stay here again.

PERFECT STAY FOR A FAMILY TRIP

We stayed at this VRBO for our son’s 4th birthday trip, and it was the perfect home base for our adventures! We visited Legoland, SeaWorld, and the San Diego Zoo, and everything was just a short drive away. The house itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully updated. The big backyard gave our little one plenty of room to run around, and the whole space felt comfortable and inviting. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to families looking for a convenient and relaxing place to stay!

Wonderful Location

We had a great stay! Me, my son, my sister, her husband, their 10 yoa son and teenage girls stayed and loved it! I love the open space of living room, dining room and kitchen. Grocery store was probably under a minute walk and Tamarack beach was within walking distance. The location was perfect for me to stay in close proximity of Legoland!

Large Carlsbad house

Nice large clean house, the kitchen and living room are huge and open. The house is white and bright. Fit 7 of us really well. About a 3 minute drive to the beach. New and updated bath and kitchen.

Beautiful, clean Carlsbad home

We loved this house . Clean, open, and beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. Perfect for our family of 6. Kitchen stocked a bit bare. Has the feeling of a true vacation rental and not borrowing someone’s house. Which we prefer. House is off a Main Street , but getting in and out is no problem. Has great beach chairs for use.

Awesome Beach Bungalow

We loved our stay in Carlsbad. The home was clean and spacious. The yard was well-maintained and big enough for the kids and dogs to play. We really enjoyed the chef's kitchen and outdoor area. I would suggest that the kitchen include a few more items: a cookie sheet/baking pan, foil or plastic wrap, bowls, and more kitchen towels. We always love to clean before we leave, so having a Swiffer or light vacuum would have been helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would love to be invited back.

Overall we had a great time and the house was comfortable for our family. There was one issue. We only had one bath towel. When the management company was notified they brought hand towels. Other than that comfy beds and nice decor.

Almost perfect

Many little maintenance issues to solve (some never solved) and a lack of certain necessary house must haves indoors and out. But, house was comfortable and great light and location is wonderful. Loved Carlsbad. With some promises of upgrades and the management/owners heading the list of items that needed attention, this could be a very delightful place.

Graduation Weekend

The house was very clean, the one thing was a strong pet odor on the couch. We had to clean it, seemed to help. Something we noticed or we didn’t know how to work properly was the oven took a very long time to heat. The rest of the stay was great beautiful house.

This was a very nice home in a convenient location to a grocery store but on a very busy road. Traffic made it challenging to get out of the drive, but street noise was a non-issue. It had a great backyard for our dog and again very well maintained. It could have used some new/additional glasses as we were constantly hand washing them to keep up with our crew. The gas grill would not light and there was no lighter or matches, so we had to get creative to get it lit. Once lit, it worked great. Overall, a nice stay and would definitely stay here again.

Nice, but with issues.

Property not really ready for occupancy. Stove had burner problem, 2 car garage not cleared adequately, missing light bulbs, ice dispenser didn’t work, tv controls not easily used, garage side door deadbolt can’t be locked, to name some problems. Very difficult driving out of driveway due to busy street. Slow response from management for problem solving. We were not there for vacation but because our house had water pipe leakage and was under repair. Location terrific, nice ocean view, and very nice house. Probably great for short term vacationers. Would have been better if we could have checked place out before committing to rent.
