Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the home fit our needs for the trip.The kitchen was great—spacious and perfect for preparing our Thanksgiving dinner. We also appreciated having access to the laundry area.A few things to note for future guests and the host:The side door was a bit tricky to make sure it was fully closed and secure.The couch felt more like a futon and the sides were very wobbly , so replacing it might make the living area more comfortable.We couldn’t quite figure out the TV, but it wasn’t a major issue for us.We didn’t use the casita, but we did notice what looked like water damage on the baseboards.A dustpan would be helpful to have available, and the carpet in the back left bedroom has some stains that could use attention.Nothing to do with the owners, but we also had an uncomfortable experience the night we arrived: a group of girls were in the middle of the street breaking glass bottles in the exact area we needed to drive through. We actually had to ask them to stop so we could get by safely.Aside from that, the home had what we needed and we were able to enjoy our stay—especially the kitchen and the overall space. A few updates and small fixes would make this place even better for future guests.
