Great stay, perfect location

We loved our stay here in December. Apartment looks like the pictures. Very bright corner unit. Washer/dryer was much appreciated. Only downside is lack of elevator which would be hard for older people to handle (hence 4stars instead of 5). Good communication with owner- would highly recommend.

Very charming little apartment.

The only suggested improvement would be some kind of lighting in the stairs. We found them difficult to traverse in the dark. Apartment itself was clean and comfy and perfectly located! Opened the windows to hear someone rehearsing the flute downstairs or across the street. Beautiful!

Just what we needed!

Delightful cozy flat in a great location, the heart of St. Germain. Close to many wonderful cafes and the metro, 15 Min walk to the Louvre, and so many other must see spots. Cecile was very helpful and made sure we had what we needed arriving and departing. She communicated well and made our first trip to Paris quite enjoyable. May not be ideal for elderly or small kids as the flat requires climbing four flights of narrow stairs to reach it. We didn't mind as it helped us walk off the wonderful Parisian food.

Excellent Apartment Centrally Located in Paris

My husband and I had the pleasure of an extended stay in this beautiful apartment in the St. Germaine section of Paris. It is a fourth floor walk up to this corner apartment which may be a challenge for some, but was fine for us. The kitchen has all you need to prepare meals, including a dishwasher. There is also a washer and dryer which we appreciated. The bathroom is updated with plenty of hot water and a strong shower. The bedroom has a king bed and an AC unit which we were happy to have in the warmer nights. Our host was quick to respond to all questions or minor needs. We would highly recommend this accommodation especially for the central location. We loved having Luxembourg Gardens just down the street. We hope to return.

5 weeks in St Germain

This was the perfect apartment for my wife and me. Two blocks up and you are in Luxembourg Garden. Five blocks down and you are on the Seine. Great cafes, brasserie, and restaurants on every corner. Now, the 5 flights up the spiral staircase are real but if that doesn't deter you, it is worth the effort. Cecile is a great property manager and Philippe will get you to and from the airport in grand style. Strongly recommend.

Paris Hideaway

We stayed a month in this delightful one BR apartment between St Germain and Luxembourg Gardens. Small but very well appointed and very easy to live in as home. Only downside was 4 flights of stairs - 84 of them!- to get up and down multiple times per day. Cecile the manager was responsive and organized and all the amenities were as advertised. Loved this location and easy access to all of Paris including boulangerie, patisserie, pharmacy and multiple markets and restaurants all within just a few blocks. One of our best experiences ever.

STAIRS FROM HELL

The first thing that should be in the property description of this apartment is that you will be faced with FOUR FLIGHTS OF VERY STEEP SPIRAL STAIRS. No elevator. Although this fact is mentioned in many of the reviews of this property it is not actually in the property description itself and I only skimmed the reviews. I am not mobility impaired and basically fit but I still found the constant up and down every time I wanted a croissant or a cup of coffee to be absolute hell and I would not it book again. (We were there for a month, imagine getting heavy suitcases in and out.) Otherwise, it is entirely as advertised, great location in St. Germain, nice and responsive owner (mostly), good amenities, comfortable rooms.

lovely gem in St Germain

It was so fun to enjoy Paris with this lovely neighborhood apartment as our home base. It is oozing with old world charm. It is a small apartment but really has everything you'd need. The closet is roomy so you can stow away your luggage so you aren't tripping over everything. It was great to have a washer dryer to freshen up our clothes before heading on to the rest of our European adventure. Sooo many lovely restaurants near by. The staircase is very steep & several flights up -so you need to be prepared for that. It was unusually warm when we were there so we were very appreciative of the air conditioning (really unusual in Parisian apartments!).

Great location in Paris

The apartment was a nice home away from home in Paris. On a 9 day stay, we were happy with the choice to rent an apartment rather than stay in a hotel. The apartment was perfectly located in St. Germain area, with plenty of restaurants nearby and the Metro just blocks away. It was nice to have a little kitchen so we didn't need to eat out all the time. The air conditioning made sleep comfortable. The only downside comes with an old apartment building...no elevator. Guests need to be physically able to climb 4 flights of steep stairs to get to the unit. We hired the driver, Phillipe, to provide airport transfer, and he was wonderful. We would highly recommend using the private driver for 75 euros each way. It was a wonderful stay in Paris.

Wonderful apartment in superb area of Paris!

We had a wonderful stay in St. Germain. The apartment is lovely and had everything we needed within close walking distance. The area is full of great shops, restaurants and a grocery store. We loved walking in the Jardin du Luxembourg every morning. We will definitely return to this apartment. Cecile was very responsive and we highly recommend the driver he arranges, Philippe.

The real Parisian experience!

The apartment that we rented was perfect for our stay in Paris with my husband and two twenty year old daughters. It was comfortable, had all of the amenities that we needed, and made us feel like we were living like real Parisians! The apartment is in a neighborhood full of good restaurants and fun shops. You do have to climb four flights of stairs to get to the apartment. It was not a problem for us, but others looking at this apartment should be aware of this. There was a heat wave in Paris during our stay, and there was air conditioning which I believe is a rare thing in Paris. The host, Cecile, was wonderful. She provided information in timely manner, and helpful with all questions and needs. I would highly recommend this adorable apartment!

Clean, fresh apartment in marvelous location with A/C

This is a lovely, nice-size, one-bedroom apartment in a fantastic location near St. Sulpice church and the Odeon Metro stop; Luxembourg Garden is just up the street. The apartment is very clean and freshly painted, with new appliances, new linens and air conditioning that works well (which was a godsend on the hot days that Paris seems to have more and more of these days). There is a foldout couch in the living room, so a couple could stay here with one extra friend or a teen who can climb stairs (see below.) The bathroom is very very nice. It’s recently updated, and soap, shampoo and shower gel were provided. And the kitchen has what you need, including a washer, dryer, dishwasher, coffee maker, etc. Cecile is a friendly and responsive owner. She responded to questions and emails promptly and anticipated what we would want to know just before we'd need to know it with pro-active emails about our check-in and check-out. She also can arrange for a driver if needed. Everything just seems to be (and is) on the up-and-up with Cecile. Checking in is not stressful because you do not need to arrange to meet Cecile in person. She sends instructions that allow you to check in yourself. Everything in the apartment is self-explanatory and easy to use, and the key was easy to access with a code she gave me, so I liked the self-check-in option. Every apartment has a down side, though, right? And this apartment’s downside is its stairs. The apartment is located on the top floor and the building has no elevator, so you must climb four flights of a circular staircase. It’s a workout but it’s doable (we did it a couple times a day). However, if you have any trouble climbing stairs, this apartment is not for you. The noise level is typical for this neighborhood. You’re on the fourth floor, which helps, but the bedroom faces the street, and buses travel the street below, so you need to sleep with the windows closed unless you want to be woken in the morning, especially on bottle recycling day. That said, I would absolutely stay here again because of the apartment’s location, amenities and clean, lovely condition.

Very nice apartment

This is a lovely apartment in a cute and convenient location. Cecile is very organized and provides detailed instructions of everything. The beds are comfortable and the apartment is clean and well maintained. We were very happy with the driver arranged by Cecile for our trip to the airport. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to my friends or relatives. (Note: the stairs might be a challenge for someone with mobility issues. We're accustomed to stairs and they weren't a problem for us.)

Perfect place in Paris

This apartment was in the perfect location for our days in Paris. We walked everywhere. The apartment was very clean and a perfect size for the three of us. Althouh we didn't cook, everything we would have needed was there. Cecile was extremely responsive and thought of everything we may have needed and had it in the apartment just in case ...umbrella, shopping bags, ac/dc adapter, extra blankets and pillows, etc. We would definitely come back. Thank you so much.

Great apartment in perfect location!

The apartment was spacious enough for my daughter and me to relax and unwind after a busy day. The bed was great for sleeping; the location is superb, with cafes, restaurants, shops and supermarkets all within easy walking distance. We walked almost everywhere and only took the Metro a handful of times...which was very close. There are lots of guidebooks, maps and wi-fi! A great spot! Lori D.

Perfect Spring Holiday

My husband and I stayed here with our two teenage daughters and found the accommodations perfect for our 8 day stay in Paris. The apartment was as pictured and while cozy, was plenty of room for the 4 of us. Very clean and well maintained with convenient washer and dryer in kitchen. Kitchen was roomy to fix and eat meals - which we did at least one meal a day. Location is perfect with patisserie, pharmacy and several small groceries within a couple of short blocks. The Odeon metro station is within a 5 minute walk, and several bus lines have stops within 5 min walk to apartment. The apartment is within walking distance of several museums (Louvre, Orsay, etc) and cathedrals (Notre Dame, Sainte Chappell, St Suplice, St Michel) - and if you don’t want to do the walk, the Metro/busses make it easy to get to all of the Paris sights. There are 4 flights of stairs, but we knew this going in and just thought of it as working off all of the great food we enjoyed - particularly in nearby French restaurants. Tres magnifique! Cecile also arranged a car service to/from airport and Phillipe was on time and helpful acquainting us to Paris. We can’t wait to go back.

Elegant apartment with great kitchen

Centrally located for walking to shopping and attractions. Large spaces within this tastefully decorated one bedroom apartment. Immaculate. Liking to cook to feel at home? The kitchen is well stocked with pans & utensils for vacation cooking. The amenities are as described - the washer and dryer in the kitchen is away from the bedroom. Walk in closet and plenty of hangers, a plus for unpacking and luggage storage. La salle de bain - modern. Good lighting throughout and multiple outlets for device charging. Enjoyed the selection of television stations - many in French with a few in English. We appreciated Cecile's prompt email replies to our questions. And to end a perfect stay, Peguy (Cecile's driver) was a delight as he drove us back to the airport (highly recommend this service). Located on the uppermost floor, this apartment is quiet.

A Treasure in St-Germain

Our stay was remarkable. The apartment is just like the picture. Loved all the windows. Comfortable and clean. Clear instructions are provided for all the appliances in the apartment as well as information about the neighborhood. The apartment is in a wonderful location with many shops and restaurants to enjoy. Cecile the apartment owner is easy to contact and responds quickly to any inquiries. She arranged for a driver, Peguy, to meet us at Gare du Nord upon arrival and for our departure. So easy!! Would love to come back to Paris and will definitely contact Cecile.

Great Apartment in a Perfect Location

Wonderful Apartment in the 6th

My wife and I stayed here after a river cruise. It was just a perfect place from the start to the end of our stay. The owner had pre-arranged for Chafik to pick us at Charles de Gaulle. He was right there and helped us with luggage into the apartment. The apartment was well furnished with dishwasher, washer, dryer, range, microwave, refrig, etc. It was very clean. The king-sized bed was extremely comfortable. We loved the roominess of the apartment. It is rare to find something this large in the 6th. Location was easy to get to anything. Bakery was just on the next street with a market two blocks away. We are glad we found this apartment. Highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking to spend time in Paris. Another plus - Cecile, the owner, was very helpful and responsive.

Wonderful apartment close to everything

My family of 4 stayed in this apartment in July 2017. While it was a tight fit (my teenagers are bigger than me), it served the purpose. Everything was as advertised and even better was that it was located within steps of all kinds of food and shopping. Walking distance to many big "must see" attractions of this beautiful city (Louvre, Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens) and a major Metro stop. The apartment was quiet with cold air conditioning. The towels were soft and fluffy. The washer and dryer were godsend. The only complaint my family had was that they had to walk 4 flights of stairs but we knew that going in and it was good for us to work off the crossiants! Cecile was wonderful to work with also. We would definitely return to this apartment next time.

This apartment has Parisian old buildings' charm thanks to its exposed beams. It's spacious and bright, and most of all, it's air conditioned in the bedroom.
The location can't be beaten, in the heart of St Germain. The famous Marché St Germain is two blocks from the apartment, The beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg is at the end of the street...
