El Kulakane es el edificio de condominios más distintivo en la hermosa costa oeste de Maui, con vistas pintorescas de las islas vecinas y espectaculares puestas de sol. Observe de cerca a las ballenas, los delfines y las tortugas marinas mientras se relaja en nuestra piscina junto al océano o desde su lanai privado.

Nuestros terrenos cuentan con una piscina junto al océano, elegantes jardines japoneses, parrillas a gas y lavandería en las instalaciones para su comodidad.

Los campos de golf de primera clase, los excelentes restaurantes, la vida nocturna y las compras en Whalers Village y Lahaina están a solo cinco minutos en automóvil.

A diferencia de los mega-resorts en la playa de Kaanapalli, Kulakane tiene un ambiente privado e íntimo con 42 unidades y cuenta con una arquitectura galardonada. Camine hasta la playa y encuentre algunos de los mejores lugares para bucear: los arrecifes en frente son el hogar de honus (tortugas marinas verdes de Hawai) y una maravillosa variedad de vida marina hawaiana.

Esta unidad frente al mar está en el 3er piso y tiene vistas despejadas de los increíbles atardeceres diarios de Molokai y Lanai y Maui. Esta unidad ha sido un segundo hogar durante años hasta agosto de 2013. There was no beach - just a sea wall. However, we could easily see sea turtles close by and whales in the distance. The condo was updated and very clean. They also provided plenty of beach items: Chairs, Boogie Boards and a cooler

Amazing as always

This was our 2nd time staying at this property we loved it the first time it was an easy choice to come back and stay again! We enjoyed many nights playing dominoes on the lanai watching turtles play in the water so close and whale spotting in the distance. The location is awesome with so many great local food places within walking distance. And shout out to the Property Managers who were always so quick to respond when we had questions. Mahalo!

We had an amazing time staying at Kulakane, woke up to sea turtles right outside every morning and watched from the lanai. The sunsets from there were stunning as well. The property management was super friendly and helpful and any minor issues that did come up during our stay were handled quickly. We would love to stay here again.

Fantastic stay

This property is right in the beach and close to town within walking distance. I love this place! It had all we needed. Very quiet and comfortable. I was a little concerned about not having a AC (from Texas) but that was not a problem. Temp stayed cool throughout my stay. I highly recommend this property and I will be back. Mahalo!

Nice ocean view from the room. The room was clean. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. But two of four elements on stow were broken, and the clothes dryer machine was broken when we moved in

Fantastic

It was amazing for our family of four (kids aged 10 and 12). The patio has a great view! Even though the condo doesn't have air conditioning, it has many fans which made it comfortable for sleeping. The appliances all worked well including an in unit washer and dryer, but the stove burners were a little wonky. At sunset, there is conch shell blowing. It's short and fun. Location was about 15 minutes from all Lahina beaches, restaurants, and activities.

This property is excellent ! Can’t get any better

Check in super easy . Few mishaps with door lock & sliding glass door , but was resolved immediately. Growing up on Cape Cod , we knew things happen with salt air and being ocean front ! Management company was wonderful from start to finish . We’ve been to Maui many times and the Kulakane has the best views in Maui hands down . The beach is right off the back of the property , Very convenient walk to stores, restaurants , groceries and food trucks. Would definitely stay in this unit again . No complaints! Everyone had an excellent time . Looking forward to our next visit in this unit

Beautiful View, lots of Sea Turtles

We had such a great time at this place. The accommodations were not fancy but were very functional. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. We enjoyed our time playing games (provided) out on the lanai also cocktail hour on the lanai and watching the residents blow the conches at sunset. Everyone at the complex was friendly. We also enjoyed using the bbq area and visiting with other guests while we cooked. The location was close to everything we love about Maui and we would love to stay here again. Our absolute favorite thing was the large number of Sea Turtles that played in the water right behind the property and visible from the lanai. It was fun to snorkle down there and come almost nose to nose with them. The place was clean and we had everything we needed to prepare meals in the condo. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

Great Location, but LOUD at night

We were thrilled with the location of the property as it was close to all the events we attended for a friends wedding. But the condo itself is a bit shabby and could use some much needed updates and maintenence. For example: the front of the kitchen sink cabinets is clearly damaged. The blades on the ceiling fan in the master bedroom are discolored and splitting. Broken tiles in the master bathroom. And the ceiling fans throughout the property are LOUD, making it hard to sleep. Master bedroom needs a new matress desperately.

Location and view were great but,,,

The access to the north part was great and getting to the rest of Maui was very easy. That said, the condo maintenance and some other things need your attention. The upper level smoke detector was broken. The upper bathroom toilet did not work correctly and at times ran on if did not jiggle the handle. A weeks worth of consumables (trash bags paper towels toilet paper) would have been nice. Sheets that fit the bed and enough pillow cases would also have been nice. The big things were great but you need to pay attention to the details, they make the vacation as much as that view.

Rustic Property, Terrible Unit

The Kulakane has a great history with a lovely location right on the ocean. Turtles abound and this is a great place to snorkel. BUT, the unit we stayed in was absolutely unacceptable. The combination of being completely outdated as well as being very dirty was upsetting. Within the unit it was clear the "cleaning charge" was being collected but not properly utilized. Carpets were filthy, tile floors were dirty, bathtubs had a collection of hair and surfaces were sticky and gross. Walls were dirty and scuffed. We even tried to get the layers of gunk off the railings and other surfaces only to find they were so built up that a brillo was required. We looked for a vacuum or a broom to do cleaning but found none. Appliances and furnishings were worse than you would expect to see in a college dorm room. Unless you like your toast being toasted on only one side or have ten minutes to warm a cup of coffee. Again, dirty and worn fixtures throughout. Oh, and the dishwasher blew out during our stay. To be fair, a repair technician was sent several hours later to fix. My favorite feature was the dust buildup on top of the ceiling fan. It was so think that when the fan was turned on the gunk flew all over the room and bed. Really charming. Lights didn't work, outlets were faulty and pillows were stained. The owners of this property should be ashamed for renting this unit. No excuse for the things that could be easily addressed like basic cleaning. Shout out to the owners that take pride in their units and in the property. unfortunately our unit did not reflect that pride.

Excellent Value

Overall, my family had a good time at this property. There was no issue with not have an AC unit. Its located in a good location and an excellent value.
